My First Team to Rate (OU)

Hi to all, i'm new in this forum.
I want to ask to everything to rate and if necessary correct my team.

THE TEAM

Let's start with the single presentation:

291.png

Ninjask @ Leftovers
Ev: 252 HP/ 252 Spd / 4 Atk
Ability:Speed Boost Nature: Jolly (+Spd, -S.Atk)
-Substitute
-Swords Dance
-Baton Pass
-X-Scissors(or Aerial Ace?)
Baton Passer, pretty classic, but probably the most important member of the team.
Substitute, Speed bonus with the Speed Bust, when possible sword dance.
After that, Baton Pass to a Physical Sweeper.
I have a big doubt if the last Attack must be X-Scissors of Aerial Ace.

105.png

Marowak @ Thick Club
Ev:
252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Ability:Rock Head Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -S.Atk)
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Double-Edge
-Fire Punch
The Best Physical Sweeper option in my team.
Pretty Slow Pokèmon but if Baton Passed by Ninjask simply outstanding.
Earthquake, Stone Edge, Double Edge and Fire Punch covers a big amount of enemies, also Bronzong.

461.png

Weawile @ Life Orb
Ev:
252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Ability: Pressure Nature: Jolly (+Spd –S.Atk)
-Ice Shard
-Pursuit
-Brick Break
-Ice Punch (or Night Slash?)
Dragon and Psychic destroyer, Brick Break on Pokemon like Tyranitar.
I can't decide if give him a more solid move in Dark or Ice side.
Ice Punch or Night Slash?

094.png

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ev: 252 S.Atk / 252 Speed / 4 HP
Ability: Levitate Nature: Timid (+Speed –Atk)
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt
-Focus Blast
-Explosion
THE Special Sweeper. Shadow Ball and Thunderbolt cover a lot, Focus Blast for TTar, Weavile and friends.
Explosion cause HP Fire is too difficult to get in-game.

472.png

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Ev: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Ability: Hyper Cutter Nature: Impish (+Def –S.Atk)
-Earthquake
-Aerial Ace
-Roost
-Stealth Rock
The physical wall. Stealth Rock to ruin enemy's team. Roost to keep him alive. Earthquake and Aerial Ace to STAB and to use his interesting Attack.

468.png

Togekiss @ Leftovers
Ev: 252 HP / 152 Spd / 104 S.Atk
Ability: Serene Grace Nature: Modest (+S.Atk –Atk)
-Nasty Plot
-Roost
-Air Slash
-Aura Sphere
Nasty Plot to bulk up his S.Atk; Air Slash and Aura Sphere to cover a lot of enemies. Roost+Leftovers to keep him alive in the long run.
I've a little doubt in the Ev Divison.

So, that's all. Any comment, rate, advice is well appreciated.
Just a last thing: i'm not a fan of Choice Items, i prefear variability. That's why i use Life Orb on Choice Band.

Thank you for all!

Taking the BP-receiving Marowak and running with it...

You have a glaring weakness to ice and rock. In particular, BOTH of your walls are weak to it. Hence, I'd recommend a defensive Empoleon (look at that tie!), who covers perfectly with Gliscor (and gives a much-needed 4x ice resist). Also, ninjask and marowak are both weak to ice...not great for a baton pass.

I'd advise X-scissor on Ninjask, to take out potential weavile (a thorn in your team's collective balls) and get at least neutral on the many lead psychics.

There's a few problems with this team, particularly whilst trying to build it around a BP-receive Marowak...I'll try and offer more when I'm more awake.

Baton Passing Ninjask is not really a good thing. If the opposing lead has a Priority move, Taunt, or a Phazing move, you basically lose two Pokemon (Ninjask and Marrowak are now basically useless). And even if their lead doesn't have one of these, they can always switch one in on your first move, and almost every team runs at least one of these things, if not two or three.

Additionally, your team is incredibly weak to DD Gyarados, who outspeeds and OHKOs every member of your team after a single DD. He can come in on your Ninjask, taunt him as he tries to set up, and Dragon Dance on the switch-out, then proceed to wreck up your team. To help remedy this I would put a Choice Scarf on Gengar, and possibly change it to a Rotom-H to boot.

For Ninjask, you may want to try a set like this, that can assure you will get at least 2 speed boosts and Swords Dance against anything not named Tyranitar, Abomasnow or Hippowodon:

Ninjask @ Focus Sash
Ev: 252 HP/ 252 Spd / 4 Atk
Ability:Speed Boost Nature: Jolly (+Spd, -S.Atk)
-Protect
-Swords Dance
-Baton Pass
-X-Scissor

Tactics:
Use Swords Dance on turn 1. Many leads will either attack, or set up a SR.
If you are attacked, use Protect next turn, as you will likly be on 1HP, and will get an extra speed boost.
If SR is set up, you're safe to use Swords Dance again, as Sash will save you.
When either SD is maxed out, or, you have used Protect after taking damage, use Baton Pass.

IF you are against a T-Tar or Hippo, it is vital that you use Protect on turn 1, then Baton Pass, Sash will not save you in this situation. Abomasnow needs an instant Baton Pass, as Blizzard hits through Protect in hail (Unless I'm mistaken). Also, if you suspect a Priority move, follow the T-Tar tactic, or else, you'll just be killed as you BP.

The downside is, without a spinner, Ninjask will die instantly upon a switch-in, as a result, I suggest removing Togekiss, the weakest link, IMO (As Gengar already does Special Sweeping, and Ninjask supports the physicals better), for this:

Starmie @ Leftovers
Modest Nature (Attack-, Sp.Attack +), Natural Cure
EV's: 252 Speed, 252 sp.Attack, 6 HP
Moves:
Rapid Spin
Psychic
Thunderbolt/Ice Beam
Thunder Wave/Recover

Starmie is the perfect replacement for Togekiss in this situation. As well as ridding SR so Sash-Ninjask can switch in later, protect, and BP a single Speed Boost later in the game (Which is better than nothing). It also has good physical and special defences, resists ice, which your team seems to struggle against, and can either hit back hard, cripple sweepers, or act as a wall to pokemon that use Water and Ice, with Recover. Due to most Ice types resisting Water, Psychic is the preferred STAB, and Thunderbolt is the preferred secondary attacking move, especially as you have Weavile to handle the likes of Salamance and Flygon.

EV's are to allow Starmie to deal maximum damage, due to that seeming to be your team's theme, although, if you want to have a somewhat bulkier Starmie, feel free to use 136 HP / 156 Def / 216 Spe, and Timid Nature.

The rest of your team is fine though, I just feel that Sash+Protect is better than Lefties+Sub, especially when paired with a spinner, especially when said spinner fills a weakness in your team.

Firstly, why run 252 Spe EVs on ninjask, i see no need of this at all. Personally i would run a much more bulky set, i think the goal speed should be 351 Spe (with no speed boosts). Otherwise scizor rapes ninjask.

With mention to scizor, nothing in your team resists steel, so he is going to be killing everything left right and centre. Togekiss has a good chance to take it on, however with SR damage and perhaps other residual damage he will struggle to do so. I would not think that just gliscor is enough to stop the no.1 used OU pokemon.

Other pokemon which will cause problems are heatran, as none of your guys resist his STAB Fire move. Also DDgyarados walks through this team with one DD up. I would think that a defensive metagross @ thunderpunch will reduce the weakness to both scizor and gyrados.
