So after my old team stalled around the 1300 mark on Showdown, I decided to play around with a new set-up. So far it's working reasonably well but I'd appreciate some input, thanks.
Klefki @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
Nature: Impish
Evs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 Sp.Def
-Play Rough
-Reflect
-Light Screen
-Spikes
A pretty standard dual screen Klefki, Spikes adds some utility if I can find some free turns and Play Rough keeps it from being total set-up bait, it also hits reasonably hard considering I've invested nothing in attack.
Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Drought
Nature: Timid
Evs: 252 Sp.Atk/252 Spd/4 HP
-Air Slash
-Focus Blast
-Fire Blast
-Solar Beam
The pure power of Fire Blast after STAB and Drought boost is insane, doing major damage to even Pokemon that resist it. Air Slash is the secondary STAB and Focus Blast and Solar Beam add great coverage both for Charizard and the team as a whole.
Garchomp @ Expert Belt
Ability: Rough Skin
Nature: Jolly
Evs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 HP
-Dual Chop
-Swords Dance
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
The choice of Expert Belt over Life Orb on Garchomp her is due to it having the greatest type coverage of any Pokemon on my team in terms of super effective hits. (Besides Charizard but that has to hold the mega stone.) Dual Chop gives me a multi-hit move to break through sashes/sturdy and substitutes. Earthquake gets STAB and hits for huge damage and Stone Edge is for Quake/Edge coverage.
Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
Nature: Timid
Evs: 252 Sp.Atk/252 Spd/4 HP
-Extrasensory
-Haze
-Ice Beam
-Hydro Pump
Greninja's massive speed means that it can often still get off a Haze even if the opponent has a speed boost, forcing them to either boost again or attack without it. Greninja also gets great STAB from all it's moves due to Protean. The forsaking of Dark Pulse in favor of Extrasensory/Haze is due to my last to Pokemon having access to STAB Ghost attacks which are effective to the same types as Dark.
Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
Nature: Quiet
Evs: 244 HP/12 Def/252 Sp.Atk
-Shadow Ball
-King's Shield
-Shadow Sneak
-Sacred Sword
Pretty standard, Shadow Ball acts as the main STAB attack with Shadow Sneak to finish off weakened opponents. Sacred Sword gives great coverage and King's Shield lets Aegislash abuse Leftovers for an extra turn as well as scouting the opponents next move.
Gengar @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
Evs: 252 Sp.Atk/252 Spd/4 HP
-Shadow Ball
-Destiny Bond
-Sludge Bomb
-Thunderbolt
Another Pokemon capable of dealing some major damage with Shadow Ball and Sludge Bomb for Faries, Thunderbolt gives good coverage and with Destiny Bond if it's about to get knocked out it can take down one extra opponent with a little luck.
------------------------------------------
The only worry I have right now is that I have no spinner/defogger. Although besides Charizard, none of my Pokemon are weak to Stealth Rock and only 2 are able to be effected by Toxic Spikes (Greninja and Garchomp). So besides possibly Spikes, my team isn't overly worried about hazards.
