I love that Parasect. It's just so awesome. I liked the Porygon-Z you did in the Different Type Thread.

Flaffy is cute too, but I don't really like Muk or Articuno all that much. Overall, good art and welcome to smogon. :]
 
i really like the Articuno and the Flaffy, that sunset is just awesome, really nice work.
Also were both from Pennsylvania XD
 
Looks sweet! The articuno is kinda over-done though, the lighting twirl thingy is everywhere, if you just had one like this:

Maybe redo it with one main one twirling over the whole thing?
If not, thats fine.

It was the first time I tried to make a glowy thing (that is, of course, the technical term.) And now that you mention it, I think I was a little over-zealous with what was originally going to just cover his tail. I';ll think i'll take you up and re-do the whole thing. Maybe I can fix up the too-bug outline and do something about the total lack of shading or lighting.

I just love me some glowy bits I guess. :/

The one i posted was my first time too, but now on another forum everyone wants it :|

And yeah, i love the effect too, just remember, don't over do it.

EDIT: And that leaf storm was AMAZING! If you make tuts, i would love to learn how to do that xD

I took leaves, places them around in a circle, shortening the ones that were closer to venasaur, and lengthening the ones farther away. Then I copied that layer twice (three total layers). I used radial blur (~75%, i don't remember exactly.) on the bottom layer. Then I decreased the size of the middle layer so that the leaves would be smaller than the blurred ones under it, as well as rotating it slightly. Last I took the top layer and radial blurred it a crap-ton so that there would be green covering most of the image. I did a similar thing to the words.

edit:
I also motion-blurred venasaur, only a little though, too much and it looks crappy.

Thank you for the comment; however I am left somewhat confused by it becasue, you see, Zubat has no eyes.

However, I assume you are talking about Golbat, and I am glad you noticed!
I really love to exaggerate eyes.

I've been trying out a million different styles/techniques to try and improve. i feel like it's paying off.

Except for Electric Nidoking, he was in Painter 11.

edit: also pinsir/heracross in painter.
