:lopunny-mega: Mega Lopunny possesses a nice speedtier that allows it to outrun the entire unboosted metagame, power to 2HKO Bewear with Close Combat, and priority in Fake Out, making it a top tier pick used in almost all teams in the tour. Power-up Punch Lopunny was also explored as it allows it to take advantage of forced switches and OHKO (non-max Defense) Bewear at +1. Due to Scrappy ignoring Staraptor's Intimidate, the only way to counter it is to either revenge kill it with Choice Scarf users such as Meloetta, Indeedee, or Ditto, or by tanking Mega Lopunny's attacks with defensive Bewear, Staraptor, or Braviary .

:bewear: If Mega Lopunny provides a fast team mate and pivoting, Bewear mainly performs as a late-game wincon as seen in these replays. Bewear of moves that bypass Substitute such as Hyper Voice, getting worn down too quickly, or getting statused though. It is to be noted that at least 92 HP EVs are needed to create Substitutes that cannot be broken by a Seismic Toss.

:ditto: If Mega Lopunny and Bewear are menaces hard to overcome in this matchup, having a second Mega Lopunny or Bewear would only make one's team better. From being able to almost always claim an opposing Pokemon by copying Mega Lopunny or Bewear to reverse sweeping a team, Ditto has you covered.

:staraptor: :meloetta: :indeedee: In a metagame defined by strong Fighting-types, its only reasonable to expect that counters to Bewear and Mega Lopunny would be extremely popular. These three usually utilize Choice Scarf, though some have tried defensive Staraptor, Z-Celebrate or Calm Mind Meloetta, and Choice Specs or non-Choiced Indeedee which are also something to take note of.

:chansey: Spreads status, wears down opposing team with Seismic Toss, and checks Choice Scarf Indeedee and Meloetta.

:porygon-z: Possible Choice Scarf user with Download, but the most successful sets have been those who used Z-Conversion to a Psychic typing. Outspeeding key threats such as Mega Lopunny at +1 makes it a great choice for a Z-move user, though its terrible bulk and speedtier being lower than Choice Scarf Staraptor is a bit disappointing.

:smeargle: Enables offense teams and makes threats such as Mega Lopunny and Bewear scarier due to its access to Sticky Web and other entry hazards.

:braviary: Synergizes with Smeargle's entry hazard setting abilities as it deters Defog due to its ability Defiant and has access to Fighting-type coverage.
