Welcome to the ND DOU Team Bazaar!

If you feel like sharing a team you've built, you may do it here! Tournament team dumps may be posted here as well.

There are some rules, however:
  • Please include your team as a importable PokePaste for the convenience of others.
  • Your team may be used by others, so please ensure it's something you've tested and functions as it should.
  • Provide at least a few sentences about your team, your thought process when building it, how it plays, any relevant EV spread calcs, etc.
Here's an example of an excellent post by Iceberg77 of what a team posted might look like:

Week 1 vs Despacito87 (W)
:zygarde::zamazenta::jirachi::rillaboom::kangaskhan-mega::glimmora:
Going into week 1, I wanted to keep things simple and go with the team structure that I thought would be the most reliable into any matchup, which of course ended up being a Zygarde / Zamazenta / Jirachi core. This team was heavily inspired and influenced by one of the teams that Nido-Rus used to win Kickoff; this team maintains the same essential structure but replaces Marshadow and Volcanion with Zamazenta and Glimmora in order to orient the team's focus even further in the Zygardian direction. The gameplan here is to spread as much damage as possible in the early game through the combination of toxic spikes + Seismic Toss, then set up with Zygarde and win by easily cleaning up all of the weakened targets. I think this team does a good job of utilizing Zygarde to its near-maximum potential, and it synergizes so well with Kangaskhan whose consistent guaranteed ~50% damage output is just unreal for wearing even the bulkiest teams down.

a list of some of the good teams i've made, some of them might not be analysed here. If you want set explanations, message me, or they might be in this doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1udn3FzcgYwNZS_moT0v3RB7gNDh0i2Pz5ys6Kv2dBwQ/edit?usp=sharing

If you are using a team with a 116 special defence rillaboom, the spread is wrong and does not live any particular attack. 52 special defence is recommended to live Yard heat wave in sun

ARON TEAM
:aron: :porygon2: :diancie: :camerupt_mega: :tyranitar: :grimmsnarl:
I recently complete a suspect 29-1 with this team, second suspect I've done with aron, so thought I'd share the team this time around and do a breakdown
Such a concept would be blasphemy, aron is not just a powerful weapon of war, aron is a lifestyle and belief system
Also it gets bulldoze and sandstorm which are important moves so it's just better here
Funnily enough, I did run into a togedemaru on my exact last match of this suspect
:ss/aron:
Aron @ Berry Juice
Ability: Sturdy
Level: 1
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 1 HP
IVs: 0 HP
- Endeavor
- Protect
- Sandstorm
- Bulldoze
The centre piece of the entire team and surprisingly this time I managed to make quite good use of it. Firstly with the obvious endeavor to bring any opponent down to low enough health to be finished off by a partner's spread move, of which there is many, or by the sandstorm. Protect is an easy pick to better position and protect against priorities. Sandstorm and bulldoze may look like just filler, and in fact they are! However, whenever I click either of these they're always impactful, whether it be sandstorm to reset sand after it runs out, to win weather wars, or to outplay a protect or sucker from the opponent, or clicking bulldoze to proc either weakness policy and buff lash out on ttar, also allowing for a kill on ground/steel/rock opponents.
:ss/tyranitar:
Tyranitar @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Sand Stream
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Atk / 92 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Rock Slide
- Lash Out
- Protect
- High Horsepower
An obvious pairing with aron (I'm not using gigalith), setting sand for it as well as benefitting from bulldoze activating wp with basically no drawback, hence lash out over knock off for the burst when I need it. Fourth slot is a toss up, never found myself clicking it basically, probably ice punch would be nice for zygardes but didn't run into any ngl
:ss/grimmsnarl:
Grimmsnarl @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Parting Shot
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Taunt
Doesn't support aron directly but helps with the rest of the team a lot, I've always liked trick room + screens because it allows easier set up and basically cover for any offensive threat they may have even under room or when it goes down, especially good with weakness policy and diancie. Taunt is a huge addition to beat ladder, it allowed me to shut down so many gimmicks, but also improves matchups against opposing taunt which is a big flaw to this team.
:ss/diancie:
Diancie @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Clear Body
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Protect
- Diamond Storm
- Body Press
- Trick Room
My favourite mon to use in the past few months, can set trick room relatively consistently as long as it doesn't get taunted with its amazing bulk and with or without room can run away with games. Also, dstorm buff + sandstorm spdef buff + dual screens + wp boost, what's not to love.
:ss/porygon2:
Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Teleport
- Ice Beam
- Recover
Pretty clearly the best setter for this team to me, being a bulky setter with teleport to pivot out. Also combos well with aron, being able to safely bringing ttar at the end of the turn to kill endeavored mons. I picked recover over protect here for more longevity in the long run at the cost of making it harder to play around taunt and fake out. I've had a couple games where that definitely came into play and allowed me to win endgames but even now I'm not too convinced it's better since protect is amazing.
:sm/camerupt_mega:
Camerupt-Mega @ Cameruptite
Ability: Solid Rock
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Heat Wave
- Ancient Power
- Earth Power
- Protect
Last but not least is camerupt. Cam is an excellent wallbreaker, able to ram through mons that would otherwise cause me troublem, especially physical walls, and providing a cover for steel types. I've always loved using this mon in room, not as bulky as I'd think at times but with screens and/or trick room it can absolutely destroy teams (as soon as it hits the heat wave)
DISCLAIMER: This is by no means a good team and I would not recommend it as trick room is just hard to play as is, but it is a good bit of fun on ladder
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/...-2025241524-43602rbcmxnalcshlvyve1eumo8foh7pw this red card self-double-kill was too hilarious not to add

"Thunderclap Trap"
:sv/gothitelle: :sv/scream-tail: :sv/incineroar: :sv/zygarde: :sv/marshadow: :sv/raging-bolt:

An attempt to incorporate Perish Trap into a working team that does not rely on the gimmick entirely to function.
Perish Song exists to remove troublesome leads such as Trick Room, setup sweepers and gimmicks via repeated Fake Out, Parting Shots and Encores. Zygarde, Marshadow and Raging bolt serving as the main damage dealers who can pose as immediate threats at the start of the game or cleanup duty once their checks have been removed by Perish Song.
Gothitelle's Shadow Tag can ensure mons like Urshifu-Rapid and Tornadus cannot escape freely from Raging Bolt's Thunderclaps. Alternatively it can keep in mons weakened by repeated Parting Shots/Intimidates to allow for Zygarde to set up Dragon Dances with little worry.

I have gotten better in this format just to use "bad" mons I think have potential or are fun to use so herer the better ones

:SV/Aegislash: Aegislash
:tapu fini: :iron hands: :aegislash: :landorus-therian: :salamence-mega: :zamazenta:
I explained this team better in the teambuilding comp so I will not explain much but basically:

Aegislash- I tought it had potential so I tried it out and it's okay, lives a lot of hits you think it doesn't and does good damage with a z-move
Tapu Fini- Urshifu counter that also deals with a lot of threats, should be other tera maybe
Iron Hands- Good support mon, one of the coolest SV Mons
Zamazenta- First drafts of this team would lose hard to Kingambit, afterwards Astro started to beat it with tera ghost chien pao so I added crunch
Lando-T- EV'd to live a freezy dry from bundle and the rest into attack, I like intimidate mons with assault vest so I used my favourite one
Salamence- Best mega and best answer to the fighting menaces in the tier

:SV/Sandy Shocks: Sandy Shocks
:Incineroar: :Sandy Shocks: :Rillaboom: :Kingambit: :Ursaluna-Bloodmoon: :Salamence-Mega:
Sandy Shocks is my favourite paradox so I tried to find a niche, which it has a few but I made this pre-dlc so it didn't had electroweb

Incineroar- Fake out and intimidate are always good support options, Incin helps with Rilla which beats your ground types
Sandy Shocks- Sandy outspeeds scarf shifu by 1 point and ohkoes it, Heavy Slam ohkoes no bulk flutter and its good against fairy types, earth power is a good neutral option against most targets , tera ice for the dragons
Rillaboom- Fake out support and strong hits are good, glide is good to pick off weaker mons
Kingambit- Makes so that people dont just intimidate sandy so that heavy slam is better, its just a good mon that you all know
Bloodmoon- I needed a special attacker that does well into trick room, so I picked the coolest one
Salamence- Same reason as the other team, just the best option for most teams

:SV/Mamoswine: Mamoswine
:Mamoswine: :Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: :Incineroar: :Salamence-Mega: :Flutter Mane: :Tornadus:
Mamo stab combination matches well into the tier, as long your prayers are up to date, hitting your moves is the biggest pain on mamo

Mamoswine- Outspeeds -1 flutter, hits most things really hard
Urshifu- Benefits from tailwind/icy wind and also hits hard
Incineroar- Same reasons listed in the team above
Salamence- You know the drill by know
Flutter- I used a diferent version of this team on swiss and lost partially because flutter wasnt fast enough, so speed booster and icy wind makes for good support speed and power
Tornadus- Best tailwinder and good with z-move

i found many players used zard sun in ladder,but compare these teams,i dont find a zard sun which adapt me.i tried dragon z walking wake,fire z chiyu,ghost z mane,etc.i think if your zard team just put the Protosynthesis mons,it really not good.so i tried and tried,made this team at last

I just played Riggerz and won 2-1 at a National Dex DOU

Rizzgerz is very skilled but I managed two clutch it out in the final battle.

The First Battle:
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9nationaldexdoubles-2036818146 - The battle was an absolute slaughter. King gambit steamrolled me, +1 sucker was no joke. The glimmora gave me trouble too. Watch out for this pair!

The Second Battle:
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9nationaldexdoubles-2036821900 - Another wipe out! This one in my favor, this gimmik strategy is fun but hard to pull off. Good thing he didn't have haze!

The Final Battle:
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9nationaldexdoubles-2036826832 - Close as ever! The battle was a back and forth. I brought the same team because I thought it would be an easy win. Then he lead Salamance, this guy got duel wingbeat which killed Eevee. So I thought that skill swapping the Intimidate would be smart, until he became mega. But I pulled the game back!

Here is the team, enjoy! -
https://pokepast.es/e7f77fe175598b0b

I am only very new to pokemon showdown but ive been winning nearly all my games with this surf Araquanid team.
Most players wont expect a special attacking Araquanid due to its very low special attack stat but due to its ability and tera water, surf hits like a truck, but sadly Araquanid has very low speed meaning getting up sticky webs, agility or even nasty plot or all 3 (i like to use mew and ribombee) will really strengthen it. Then you can use a telepathy gardevoir to setup rain dance and then use helping hands for even more damage boosts. And then specs fluttermane and grassy glide rillaboom as a secondary offensive side of the team
The team: https://pokepast.es/d2ede325e200dcea
You can also run a eevee to set up quicker but its a lot more risky and predictable in my opinion.
I typically open with the mew and ribombee, get up sticky webs and use agility, then depending on if i can maybe set up a nasty plot or just baton pass, then bring out gardevoir and the araquanid and start sweeping

Teal Ogerpon Psyspam

Normally Teal Mask is the lesser form of Ogerpon due to it lacking a secondary STAB and not having access to the masks as an item. But what sets it apart is that it has Defiant and upon Tera can boost its speed to outspeed everything aside from speed booster Flutter and Iron Bundle. With Defiant and having 1 STAB move, it can punish mons annoying for psyspam by running Grass + Fighting + Fairy coverage to kill Scarf Lando-T, Mega Salamence, and Incineroar which it can kill even without Tera. The rest is pretty basic Psyspam, was using Celesteela to help against Trick Room and Mega Metagross. Just beware of Fullroom when using this team as most of my losses with this were due to Fullroom.

:raging-bolt::jirachi::rillaboom::flutter-mane::volcanion::salamence-mega:
Double Setup Jirachi

This was also the team I used against Jello in NDFL finals, very solid and easy to pilot team, has two very strong setup guys and a Flutter Mane. Try to weaken the enemy team with your Volcanion and Flutter Mane then setup one of your sweepers and punch as many holes as you can afford to in the enemy team before fainting. Then clean with Rillaboom, Flutter Mane, and Volcanion. Volcanion spread on both teams are the same and lets Volcanion always live two Specs Shadow Balls from Flutter Mane. Similarly, Rillaboom's spread lets it always live Two Specs Moonblasts from Flutter Mane.

:kartana::zamazenta::rillaboom::landorus-therian::dracovish::tyranitar-mega:
Kartana Sand

Kartana is a very fun mon and completely demolishes balanced playstyles by virtue of the attack stat and Beast Boost. Zamazenta helps Kartana in getting going by giving it Howl boosts to OHKO desired targets with Leaf Blade to then snowball. Rillaboom gives the team proper Water resistance especially from special targets and boosts Kartana's Leaf Blade further. Landorus-T fends off annoyances such as Mega Metagross and Marshadow with Intimidate and Choice Scarf. Sand Rush Vish and Mega Tyranitar are underexplored in my opinion and help a lot against the annoyance that are Sun and Mega Salamence Hyper Offense. Kartana's Attack investment lets it OHKO Kingambit with Sacred Sword while dumping the rest in Special Defense for things like Volcanion Steam Eruption and Mega Salamence Hyper Voice.

Swords Dance Kartana Balance

:sv/kartana: :sv/tapu-fini: :sv/incineroar: :sv/iron-hands: :sv/landorus: :sv/salamence-mega:

Simple balance team surrounding Kartana, who has Swords Dance to boost its monstrous attack coupled with Grassium Z (aka Bloom Doom) to nuke Pokemon such as Landorus-I and Palafin. Tapu Fini is able to switch into the Fire- and Fighting-types that threaten Kartana, while offering speed control in Icy Wind, allowing it to outspeed Max Speed Mega Metagross at -1, and breaking through Dragon-types with Moonblast. Incineroar lets Kartana setup easier with Fake Out support or Parting Shot, giving it good switch-ins against Pokemon like Ogerpon-W who threaten Incineroar, while forming a Grass/Water/Fire core. Iron Hands also offers Fake Out support, while scaring away Flying-types like Corviknight and Mega Charizard Y with Wild Charge; it can come in on Rock- and Electric-type moves that scare Incineroar and Tapu Fini as well. Landorus-I gives me power on the special side, benefits greatly from Icy Wind speed control, and can threaten bulky Steel-, Fire- and Fairy-types such as Heatran, Gholdengo, opposing Incineroar and Tapu Fini. Lastly, Mega Salamence adds additional speed control in Tailwind, is a great mixed attacker with Hyper Voice and Frustration, adds more Intimidate support for the team, and forms a Steel/Fairy/Dragon core with Kartana and Fini.

:xy/charizard-mega-y::xy/raging bolt::xy/tornadus::sv/flutter mane::xy/heatran::ss/rillaboom:

Very fun team I made for Astro for NDWC

Astro requested a :raging bolt: team, so I started with :charizard-mega-y::raging bolt::tornadus:
Given that I really hate mgross meta, my first thought was to build a sun team. :raging bolt: and :charizard-mega-y: are able to cover each other's weaknesses and coverage well.
I really like this bulky charizard set as it is able to live multiple hits while providing utility or damage. :tornadus: splits sun and tailwind duties with :charizard-mega-y: while also firing a powerful Z-move.

:flutter mane:
Defensive tera because getting bullet punchered mattered. a lot. it's also nice to cover for rilla zama, you generally can get the surprise if you need a kill

:heatran:
Eruption under the sun hurts. A lot! Scarf set for the surprise advantage and last move should be flamethrower or something.

:rillaboom:
Covers psyspam, helps vs trick room, just the usual rilla role

:charizard-mega-y::raging bolt:
Dragon Cheer! Be aware that crit rate drops from 100 to 50% if you tera :raging bolt:

The fun and good team that JT and me created for NDWC so lets break down the functions and EV's

:Landorus-Therian:

Rocks setter aswell as being a good intimitdate pivot, meaning that most physical attackers are forced to switch out-> take rocks damage
The EV spread is just to be as strong and fast possible considering it doesn't hit any true speed tier

:Incineroar:

Another intimidate user while creating free turns with fake out, the basic incin function
The spread on Incin is quite high on Def because I needed it to take hits from stuff like +1 Sword of Ruin Thousand Arrows to counter it
Here are some exemples of the bulk
+1 252+ Atk Zygarde Thousand Arrows vs. 236 HP / 148+ Def Incineroar: 254-302 (65.1 - 77.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
-1 252 Atk Life Orb Marshadow Close Combat vs. 236 HP / 148+ Def Incineroar: 283-335 (72.5 - 85.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 0 Def Sword of Ruin Zamazenta Body Press vs. 236 HP / 148+ Def Incineroar: 330-390 (84.6 - 100%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Flutter Mane Moonblast vs. 236 HP / 96 SpD Incineroar: 235-277 (60.2 - 71%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

:Zamazenta:
Standard IDBP set to seize the free turns created by fake out and to beat stuff like Flutter, Wide guard over protect or snarl to have a better time against sun, psyspam and camel and ursaluna bloodmoon trick room

:Gholdengo:

Gholdengo is definitely going to pick up in usage, with scarf being able to beat so many of the bigger threats in the meta
Trick neutralizes many set up sweepers and support mon while just having the scarf allows it to beat the faster threats of the metagame like Deo and Pao
speaking of Pao the main target of the spread was to live its sucker punch
252 Atk Sword of Ruin Chien-Pao Sucker Punch vs. 48 HP / 12 Def Gholdengo: 296-350 (90.5 - 107%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO
while also having ohko on bulkless flutter after rocks
196 SpA Gholdengo Make It Rain vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Flutter Mane: 222-264 (88.4 - 105.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

:Iron-Hands:

Awnsers sun with tera fire, hit mence and zyg hard with ice punch and its good against trick room,overall good mon that I'm surprised that doesn't have more usage
The EV spread is pretty standard so I won't go into details

:Salamence-Mega:

The king of the megas right now, helps to patch so many things in teams. Weak to Rillaboom?Use Mence. Need a strong Intimidate mon? It has your back
I EV'd it with a lot of Atk to ohko Zardy in case of sun
172 Atk Aerilate Salamence-Mega Double-Edge vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Charizard-Mega-Y: 297-351 (100 - 118.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

The team is great and will probably remain relevant for a while considering how much you can change around it

Belated ND Summer Seasonal (And random stuff I made) team dump:

All of these are sample submissions

Round 1 (W):

Going into this set I had absolutely no idea what stuff Snapple was bringing, apart from the potential Tailwind offense I was kind of stuck since he piloted everything he used pretty well during NDWC, so I just brang something I was pretty comfortable with for game 1 and wanted to experiment with the other team in game 2.

:kyurem-black: :chien-pao: :salamence-mega: :rillaboom: :jirachi: :flutter mane:
:deoxys-attack: :glimmora: :chien-pao: :entei: :flutter mane: :tornadus: Edited this with some improvements from when I used it

Round 2 (L):

Didn't really know what to expect from Chris at all here, knew I wanted something that could punish offensive plays and that was pretty hard to switch in against. Took some inspiration from Snapple's Rain team that I played the week prior with the game 1 team and just reused the round 1 team for game 2.

:deoxys-attack: :tornadus: :basculegion: :indeedee-f: :kingambit: :archaludon:
:kyurem-black: :chien-pao: :salamence-mega: :rillaboom: :jirachi: :flutter mane:

Round 4 (W):

At this point, I felt like I had enough of an idea of what Schister was comfortable with from his seasonal and derby games. Noticed that most of his teams were pretty weak to phasing and anti-setup options such as Roar or Haze. For game 1 I used a team based around allowing Kommo-o to safely use it's Z-Moves with Jirachi and Roar Volcanion as support. I wanted to build with Mega Tyranitar for a while, so for game 2 I took a lot of inspiration from EternalSnowman's Sand teams with Tyranitar + Kommo-o.

:jirachi: :volcanion: :rillaboom: :salamence-mega: :flutter mane: :kommo-o: - Astro Nation Shoe also brang this for W5 of derby vs Schister
:tyranitar-mega: :kommo-o: :rillaboom: :jirachi: :volcanion: :diancie:

Round 5 (L):

Yet another case of not having any idea of what somebody was bringing, honestly I definitely played this set poorly and could have won if I played better, but oh well. Only built one of these teams myself, and took a lot of inspiration from Fangame's FanRoom structres for this (And completely overhauled it like 15 minutes before the game).

:kyurem-black: :ninetales-alola: :incineroar: :farigiraf: :stakataka: :dondozo: (Old version)
:kyurem-black: :ninetales-alola: :incineroar: :stakataka: :tapu fini: :rillaboom:

Other teams:

Gave this to Frixel for W2 of derby, the team is pretty much finding a position where Tapu Fini or Kyurem-Black are able to setup and win, then using support tools such as Encore Jirachi, Incineroar and Celesteela to make it safer to setup as well as Icy Wind Flutter Mane for Speed Control

:kyurem-black: :tapu fini: :jirachi: :incineroar: :celesteela: :flutter mane:

Wo-Chien seemed pretty cool with a bulky Calm Mind user, mainly Tapu Fini in testing, and fitted pretty well with Jirachi and Mega Kangaskhan.
Choice Scarf Landorus-Therian seemed like a cool Speed control option against Tailwind teams here. Last slot on both was just a pretty bulky Calm Mind user, wasn't happy with Raging Bolt and didn't like the damage reduction of Dragon Pulse in Misty Terrain so I made a version with Ursaluna-Bloodmoon instead.

:wo-chien: :raging bolt: :landorus-therian: :tapu fini: :jirachi: :kangaskhan-mega:
:wo-chien: :ursaluna-bloodmoon: :landorus-therian: :tapu fini: :jirachi: :kangaskhan-mega:

Pretty much just a bulkier version of the other Ice Spam team with more consistent EV spreads

:kyurem-black: :chien-pao: :salamence-mega: :rillaboom: :jirachi: :volcanion:

Howl Gouging Fire is kind of copium in my opinion, but it was pretty fun to build and is cool to use

:gouging fire: :chien-pao: :rillaboom: :jirachi: :tornadus: :marshadow:

This was originally a team build around Iron Defense Zamazenta just setting up with Ting-Lu, but it got banned so I just used Archaludon instead since it seemed pretty decent instead, Ferrothorn could probably work here as well though.

:archaludon: :ting-lu: :jirachi: :rillaboom: :tornadus: :volcanion:

Some closing thoughts from me; Don't let me pass teams for derby Encore Jirachi seems really strong right now and is definitely worth having someone better than me look into. Celesteela looks pretty fun with Wide Guard and Power Herb stuff didn't really get any chance to build it as much as I wanted to this tour though. Terrain Seeds all look nice right now, especially on stuff that can deny setup as well as Jirachi, probably. Definitely a lot more I wanted to build or look into, but I'll hopefully be able to do it in an upcoming tour, and maybe post some of my other teams that I didn't here (Since this post is long enough already and I just wanted to show off the stuff I thought were cool and actually usable).

Best of luck to everyone else in the rest of their runs, I also think other people should definitely share their teams at the end of their derby or seasonal runs as well, this is the most fun I've had with an individual tour, hopefully I can have a better performance next time :woo:

TEAMDUMP DERBY
1721593882314.png

:gardevoir-mega:Hi, this is a compilation of the teams I used in this tournament. I was very excited for this tournament because it has tiers that I really like. Thanks to everyone, and thanks to my team, los tkm.
I will add songs that I listened to during the battles and that inspired me to create the teams. It would be great if you could listen to the songs while watching the battles :gardevoir-mega:

week 1 team
oh the guilt vs logice
:Camerupt-Mega::Farigiraf::Mew::Stakataka::Ursaluna-Bloodmoon::Amoonguss: vs :Charizard-Mega-Y::zygarde::flutter-mane::glimmora::chien-pao::Rillaboom:
I didn't want to complicate things too much, so I decided to use something simple and strong

week 2 team
oh the guilt vs smudge
:Ferrothorn::Diancie::Salamence-Mega::Volcanion::Gothitelle::Marshadow: vs :jirachi::rillaboom::Kangaskhan-Mega::kyurem-black::tapu-fini::marshadow:
Ferrothorn, the Pokémon with which I started playing competitively, needed a team built around it, and here we have it

week 3 team
oh the guilt vs zeal
:raging-bolt::marshadow::rillaboom::kingambit::gardevoir-mega::volcarona: vs :chi-yu::tornadus::flutter-mane::Kangaskhan-Mega::zygarde::jirachi:
Possibly the best team I've ever created, I'm very proud of it

week 4 team
oh the guilt vs sealife
:Gholdengo::Grimmsnarl::Salamence-Mega::Rillaboom::Pheromosa::Incineroar:
I was looking and couldn't find a replay of this game. I only remember that we both had an epic screen battle, which I lost. This is probably my worst team or the one I should have prepared more for

week 5 team
oh the guilt vs chris numbers
:tapu-lele::naganadel::chi-yu::tornadus::flutter-mane::diancie-mega: vs :tapu-fini::tornadus::zygarde::incineroar::Kangaskhan-Mega::jirachi:
This is a build that I loved a lot and it's the same one I gave to my friends for the NDDOU ladder. It's quite interesting, but it's a shame that I wasn't at my best to play at 100% with it (I couldn't concentrate and made a few misclicks in the battle)

week 6 team
oh the guilt vs eragon
:scizor-mega::Gothitelle::zygarde::Amoonguss::chien-pao::volcanion: vs :Charizard-Mega-Y::flutter-mane::zeraora::tornadus::gouging-fire::tsareena:
(Scizor made the beat of the song with its Bullet Punch) This is another team that I love a lot and I think it's my second best team. Unfortunately, it couldn't shine at that moment

week 7 team
oh the guilt vs frixel
:glimmora::volcanion::whimsicott::Kangaskhan-Mega::zygarde::chien-pao: vs :stakataka::rillaboom::flutter-mane::raging-bolt::Charizard-Mega-Y::landorus-therian:
A simple and strong team. Whimsicott was supposed to win this, and it did with those crazy Encores. I really like this team and I think it's my third best
By the way, I wanted to win this with Latin music

I got interested in ND Monotype Doubles, so I made a whole bunch of teams. Couple of things to note, though. Not all types are equally viable. Some monotype teams have plenty of tools in which will help them succeed in a Doubles metagame. Some are not as fortunate. Also, ND Monotype Doubles is not an official smogon metagame; it's a Wild West, so expect the teams below just to be an attempt at something new. The purpose of this post is to give new players an easy access to teams to try against those who are already interested in ND Monotype Doubles and face us in roomtours. Without further ado ~

Some teams I've used and that have worked well since Zygarde was banned
( Click to open the team)

:glimmora::volcanion::Whimsicott::Landorus-Therian::Kangaskhan-Mega::Raging Bolt:
This is a simple team and has the same base as the team I used against Frixel in the last week I played in the Derby. It focuses on annoying the opponent with Whimsicott and the hazards that Glimmora sets up. Then we have Pokémon like Volcanion with Taunt, which can help us against Trick Room or Pokémon that try to set up. The core trio of Whimsicott-Glimmora-Volcanion seems very strong defensively to me.

The plan is to annoy at the start and then find an opportunity to boost, either with Kangaskhan or Landorus. Raging Bolt deals a lot of damage on its own with Booster Energy. This team performs very well against sun teams and bulky teams. I really like how Kangaskhan's Power-Up Punch can quickly become a major threat

:Ninetales-Alola::Ursaluna::Kyurem-Black::Indeedee-F::Celesteela::Gardevoir-Mega:
This is a snow team that I really liked the idea of, but with Zygarde and Jirachi around, I couldn't make it work 100%. Now that Zygarde is banned, the team has improved considerably. The main core of Ninetales, Ursaluna, and Kyurem-Black is primarily screens and setup mons. We also have our Trick Room setter, Indeedee, which, with Follow Me and its terrain to prevent priority moves, can help us set up very easily. It also maximizes our damage with Helping Hand.
Celesteela is a very interesting pick since it helps a lot with the tricky matchups against Stakataka and Charizard Y sun teams. With Meteor Beam, we can easily take down Charizard, and Stakataka won't be a problem at all. We have Wide Guard to prevent moves like Heatran's Eruption and Charizard/Chi-Yu's Heat Wave, among other moves. To take advantage of the semi-Trick Room, we have Mega Gardevoir, which will be our second Trick Room setter and Psychic Terrain abuser.
The plan for this team is to set up screens and boost our Pokémon either inside or outside of Trick Room

:Mawile-Mega::Farigiraf::Ursaluna-Bloodmoon::Stakataka::Iron Hands::mew:
Mawile is by far my favorite Mega of all time. This team is a hard Trick Room team designed to break through anything in its path. The main core of Mawile, Farigiraf, and Bloodluna consists of a Trick Room setter and two very explosive attackers, simply made to finish the job quickly.
Our Trick Room setters are Farigiraf, which also helps maximize our damage with Helping Hand, Stakataka, which will also be a very good attacker, and Mew, which has a lot of utility like burning opponents with Will-O-Wisp and helping with Fake Out and Snarl.
Iron Hands can help a lot against opposing Ursalunas and easily take down Incineroars and Flutter Manes. The game plan is simply to set up Trick Room and wreak havoc with Ursaluna, Mawile, or Bloodluna

I had considered posting here before but never got around to it, JT reminded me this place existed and now that Ive gotten some experience with this style of team I am p convinced that its viable.

:Archaludon::Mew::Kangaskhan-Mega::Sinistcha::Ting-Lu::Celesteela:

What makes "stall" work in natdex is Mkang, stoss dealing consistent damage is low key kinda busted and I dont think stall works without it. Ting and sinistcha were chosen to help reduce damage and heal, set hazards, and disrupt. celesteela seemed like it would synergize with ting similar to how other steels have in sv, its type is v good defensively and difficult to remove. This was confirmed in tests lol. the Last 2 slots usually want to be a secondary fakeout mon, and some kind of bulky setup. Archaludon is another mon I like running with ting that is p good at closing vs phys offense. Mew is just basic support stuff, its type seems solid defensively so thats why i give it snarl and run rocks on archa, it can be swapped.

generally, I like to try and setup hazards if possible early. This isnt always easy or even feasible in some rounds, but it should at least be smth to attempt. as u do this, try to wisp/snarl anything significant, this can give u free turns later. While u dont want to lose kang, I think using it early often helps keep pressure up, as u can heal up with sinistcha if needed.

Uhhh, theres probably a lot im missing, may edit later if i think of anything. This version struggles into sun sometimes, marshadow+pao. there are other iron press/support mons that function well too (incin, garganacl, kommo) but i havent used them quite as much.

Stak in heavy rain
Stak in sun
Stak in psy terrain
Stak has won

xqiht asked if i wanted to support for Derby and i still had a couple teams in the back so i said yes

Psysun:
Lilligant always KOs Salamence
Initially it was Speed Swap Pheromosa but losing the Gyro Ball damage is so bad
:stakataka::charizard::flutter-mane::indeedee-f::hoopa-unbound::lilligant-hisui:

Psyrain:
Weaker team of the bunch I'd say
Pelipper lives Power Gem from Glimmora
:stakataka::pelipper::swampert::indeedee-f::iron-crown::zapdos:

Regular staksun:
:stakataka::raging-bolt::charizard::flutter-mane::rillaboom::landorus-therian:
Flutter lives -1 Marshadow Shadow Sneak
Landorus lives all the physical ice moves in the games
Heat Crash Stak in sun is funny

Flavorless:
Incineroar lives -1 Close Combat from Marshadow
:stakataka::chien-pao::salamence::rillaboom::flutter-mane::incineroar:

Stakless hail, just couldn't (didn't want to) fit it:
:ninetales-alola::kangaskhan::amoonguss::meloetta::volcanion::amoonguss:
Meloetta fits great here as a Psychic resist and a setup mon that isn't weak to Spectral Thief

Derby Team Dump

Overall, the Derby has been a great experience. I learned a lot, and I'm excited for what is to come. Shoutout to my teammates and the other members of the DOU community for all the help that they have given me. I hope you all will stick around and continue to make our community a great place!

:Calyrex ice: Derby Team Dump :Calyrex ice:
Firstoff, I just wanna say thank you to zee and Arcticblast for drafting me, and thank you to all my teammates for the prep help and fun we had along the way. This was a great first team tour experience for me and enjoyed every second of it. Another big shoutout to oh the guilt for the help during playoffs, we cooked some hard af teams.

Most of these teams are pre- :zygarde: ban, so some may not be usable, but I'm still going to post them just in case it gets unbanned and b/c I wanna show em off. Smudge all of these may be considered sample submissions, if you would like.

Week 1 : vs oh the guilt (L)
:charizard: :zygarde: :flutter mane: :glimmora: :chien pao: :rillaboom:
To be honest, I hadn't touched this tier in months, so I just went with the braindead sun week 1. Got swept by a fullroom camerupt which was a glaring issue I didn't really see in prep.

Week 2 : vs zeal (W)
:tapu fini: :kangaskhan: :jirachi: :landorus: :marshadow: :tornadus:
Zeal is an extremely tough player, so I knew I needed to cook something special this week. With zygarde and staka dominating the early derby meta, I figured calm mind fini was the perfect choice (this mon is extremely broken it should be used more). Looking back, Jirachi could've been rocky helmet or sitrus, as this team is pretty weak to opposing mega kangaskhan.

Week 3 : vs astro nation shoe (L)
:kyurem black: :kangaskhan mega: :Rillaboom: :jirachi: :tornadus: :volcanion:
I cannot use kyurem black for the life of me. I think this team is very good, and with some small tweaks it could work. Tornadus probably isn't 100% necessary, and could most likely be changed out for flutter mane or tapu fini.

Week 4 : vs frixel (W)
:celesteela: :tapu fini: :incineroar: :zygarde: :flutter mane: :ogerpon wellspring:
From here on is where I felt my builds really started to improve. After starting 1-2, I really wanted to lock in and help the team start winning more frequently. Celesteela felt like a perfect pick with the zygarde + staka cores going crazy, and av incin to help with the potential sun matchups, which I ended up facing.

Week 5 : vs Smudge (W)
:Ursaluna Bloodmoon: :incineroar: :tapu fini: :marshadow: :farigiraf: :zygarde:
By the time smudge and I played, the week had already been decided so I opted to roll with something that I had used before in order to save builds. This team is one of my favorites, and I think that ursaluna blood moon is really good in this meta. I've used this team in seasonal (as well as derb) and its put up good results for me. Zygarde could most likely be swapped for staka or potentially mega mawile, which is a mon I feel could be underexplored.

Week 6 : vs Sealife (W)
:Kingambit: :scream tail: :Rillaboom: :raging bolt: :kangaskhan mega: :ogerpon wellspring:
This game/week was huge for our playoff chances. Calm mind raging bolt is extremely broken, and the support scream tail can provide it made it perfect on this team. Sealife's scout showed a lot of setup and screens, which was another reason for the scream tail bring.

Week 7 : vs Chainless Joe (L)

:stakataka: :tapu fini: :Rillaboom: :ogerpon hearthflame: :raging bolt: :kangaskhan mega:
I finally decided to hop on the staka train this week. The team is really good, but I think I mispositioned a few things during the game which ended up costing me.

Semis : vs Sealife (W)
:Indeedee: :stakataka: :gardevoir mega: :volcanion: :marshadow: :zygarde:
This team was a collaborative oh the guilt zee and I cook. Zee's sun paranoia ended up paying off, because the rock tomb marshadow was huge in progress making during this game. I think this may be the best team we made all tour.

Finals : vs Test Bots (W)
:charizard: :stakataka: :flutter mane: :rillaboom: :raging bolt: :landorus therian:
This team was all zee and b/c of that I won't post the paste, however I knew I wanted to use z-lando this week with zygarde being banned. We went through some balance kangaskhan options, however they just kept losing to sun so we opted to run sun ourselves.

I have been Procrastinating when it comes to posting teams here, let's change that. This team dump will have some of my personal teams as well as some NDFL ad swiss teams that were never used.

I achieved my goal of farming the farm league so here are some teams I built and used! Just a note, I did not really consider Z-moves while building due to lack of knowledge through starting competitive Pokemon in generation 8. Because of this, I think some of these teams can be improved greatly even further so I would encourage people trying these teams out to modify sets to your liking

Sun seemed insanely broken to me so I went with the option of building to maximize power, the team got me 2 wins in NDFL so I'm pretty happy with it

Another team concept based around maximizing the power level. I had psyshock on Gardevoir as extra insurance against Tapu Fini as well as for the reason that sword of ruin boosts its damage but trick room could be more consistent, that slot is interchangeable

I built this team week 1 of the format back in May 2023. Back then I had Volcanion over Raging Bolt but now Raging Bolt felt much stronger to me against the general meta

My VGC friend Kunal helped me with this team so huge thanks to him! Until now I completely disrespected how strong Z-Moves were and did not bother looking at them in the builder. He pointed out to me that Sky Drop Aerodactyl has some really cool combinations with other pokemon on this team, for example you can sky drop a pokemon and guarantee a Z-move hit on it at the end of the next turn. Even if they tera grass to resist Groundium Z, sky drop + the Z-move will get the KO anyway.

Kunal also pointed out to me how absurdly broken Xurkitree is. You can also sky drop opposing pokemon that threaten Xurkitree and get a tail glow off. After that, you can many options such as tailwind, switch in Incineroar and fake out attack, switch in Amoonguss and rage powder + attack. After tail glow and tera fairy, dazzling gleam does a crazy amount of damage to the opposing team
