Melmetal benefits from latios-m as it covers its fighting, fire, and ground weaknesses. Melmetal can switch into the fairies, ice, and dragon moves. It also spreads paralysis which helps latios further pressure Pokémon like clefable, corviknight, and zapdos. Melmetal also pressures pokemon like ferrothorn, toxapex, and chansey which otherwise are a pain for latios-m to deal with

Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Def / 160 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Toxic Spikes
- Recover
- Haze

Toxapex and Mega Latios form an intimidating core to break that fits very well on bulky offensive teams, but can also have a menacing late game sweep.

In order for Mega Latios to sweep safely, it appreciates having teammates that can switch into its weaknesses, particular Ice, Fairy and Dark Pokémon, such as Ash-Greninja, Bisharp, Mega Gyarados, Weavile, Clefable, Tapu Fini, Hydreigon, Tyranitar, Kommo-O, etc. Though, to deal with Tyranitar, it is reccomended that Latios runs Aura Sphere to avoid being knocked out by Pursuit. Although Mega Latios has an incredible Speed stat, common Choice Scarf or speedy attackers such as Choice Scarfed Tapu Fini, Hydreigon and Weavile, as well as Ash-Greninja are able to revenge-kill Mega Latios, therefore it is essential to have a reliable counter to those pokemon that can wittle it down so Mega Latios can set up safely.

The Dragon and Psychic typing is valuable as it can cover some of the few weaknesses Toxapex has: Psychic, Electric and Ground. Toxapex appreciates the Levitate support from Mega Latios, as Ground attacks from Nidoking and Landorus-T are one of the few unboosted moves that can OHKO Toxapex, and they would not appreciate staying in to be outsped and knocked out by Ice Beam or Psyshock. Mega Latios has no problem comfortably switching in and setting up on Pokémon that can take advantage of Toxapex not doing anything to it, such as Serperior, Kartana, Rillaboom, Tapu Bulu and Chansey. Additionally, the Haze support from Toxapex is essential in removing Speed and Special Defense boosts from Pokémon such as Kommo-O, Weavile and Volcarona, which threatens Latios’ ability to set up. Furthermore, Toxic Spikes support from Toxapex is important for letting Latios outlast Pokémon that it may have a hard time breaking past, such as Chansey, Tyranitar and Tapu Lele.

Modest Nature
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Taunt/Toxic/Stealth Rock
- Steel Beam/Flash Cannon/Stealth Rock

Pretty much any Tran set works here, but basically the point of Heatran as a partner to Mega Latios is that it irritates the fuck out of the Steels and Fairies that Latios hates dealing with, especially if you're running the standard PsyBeamSphere. In return, Mtios provides a check to stuff like Grounds and Waters for Heatran.

Mega latios is heavily annoyed by steels like corv and Sciz, so what better teammate for it than the steel killer magnezone? In return, lati pivots into stuff like medicham and zard y that mag would not want to deal with.

so uhm its greninja, one of best offensive pokemon in the tier , being able to spam its specs boosted attack and stack spikes. It does annoy with certain defensive pivot such toxapex, ferrothorn, tapu fini, tapu bulu and tangrowth. Pairing it with mega latios is good idea because mega latios mythical fire annoy ferrothorn, tapu bulu and tangrowth. Mega Latios also a reliable answer for toxapex. So, basically weaken defensive answer for ash gren and ash gren sweep.

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Dazzling Gleam
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Tapu Koko´s excellent speed helps it deal with the faster threats that force out Medicham, while its electric terrain allows Medicham to bypass Slowbro with its boosted thunder punches which also provide a more reliable move to hit mons such as Corviknight, Skarmory and Tapu Fini. Koko´s constant pivoting gives Medicham the safe entries it needs to fire off its powerful attacks, while often drawing out the grounds and slow grasses that Medicham preys on. This allows Tapu Koko to use its powerful thunderbolts with no fear of an opposing ground coming in, or use its volt switches to keep it´s teams momentum up and provide positive matchups.

Melm switches into the various Fairies and Psychics that can wall and threaten out Mega Medicham and force them out with DIB. Melm can also paralyze faster threats like Mega Lati twins and Lopunny so that Medicham can outspeed and KO them without risking damage. In return, Medicham breaks through the Corviknight, Skarmory, MSciz, etc. that Melm tends to struggle with a bit

This set can paralyze certain would be checks such as latias, reuniclus, and slowbro easier to break through as they have a chance to not move at all, serperior also weakens pokemon by spamming continuously boosting leaf storms on pokemon such as zapdos, kommo-o, and latios. Mega medi can help break through steels that otherwise would wall serperior without a boost or 2 such as heatran, corviknight, blissey

Mega Medicham works best as a mid-game fierce wallbreaker on balance teams, hence, pairing well with late-game cleaners like Ash-Greninja. Ash-Greninja and Mega Medicham create a fantastic offensive core that forces the opponent to make many switches. Hence, both Pokémon benefit from the gradual residual damage on the opponent thanks to Greninja’s Spikes, allowing easier mid/late-game sweeps. Mega Medicham benefits from Greninja, as it removes bulky Psychic and Ghost Pokemon like Slowbro, Reuniclus, Mew, Mega Latias, Slowbro, Slowking, and Aegislash, which wall Medicham’s Psychic, Fighting and Electric coverage. Greninja also threatens opposing Gliscor, Garchomp and Landorus Therian, which both survive High Jump Kick on a non-Ice Punch variant. Greninja’s Dark typing serves as a niche to absorb Priority Will-o-Wisp from opposing Mega Sableye. Similarly, Medicham removes Special walls that hinders Greninja's offensive potential, such as Blissey, Toxapex, Tapu Fini, Ferrothorn, Gastrodon, Mantine, and Tangrowth. Ultimately, it requires great prediction in creating bold double switches for the pair to immediately remove a defensive wall early/mid-game to allow the other to flourish late-game.
