https://pokepast.es/d49a75f896e1c730 ( Mega Banette Hazard Stack )
Mega Banette : Wisp + Encore Really good and this Mon finally got poltergeist
Gliscor : sets up Tspikes and is just great utility mon overall. I have tera dragon for hearthflame ogerpon ( +3 252 Atk Hearthflame Mask Tera Fire Ogerpon-Hearthflame-Tera Ivy Cudgel vs. 252 HP / 0+ Def Tera Dragon Gliscor: 232-273 (65.5 - 77.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Poison Heal )
Ferrothorn: sets up stealth rocks, tera ghost for rapid spin + mainly for Val and others
Ogerpon Wellspring: My spikes stacker, helps with Zard Y (if you tera after switchin ) unless he gets the 12.5 % chance to ohko, helps against Sun (abuses synthesis ) and is good against most rain teams
Gholdengo : Fightinium Z and blocks defog, nothing else to say really
Iron Valiant : Sd set with tera fairy tera blast the Wincon of the team.

Standard Offense with WaterPon :)
- very strong physical attacker thanks to the 1.2 damage boost from the wellspring mask and great typing offensively. very little mons in the tier resist the stab combination of water and grass, and the ones that do don't appreciate the chip and losing their item from knock off (ferro, water absorb clod, dragonite, rillaboom, etc)
- speed control with good movepool and stats. I chose hidden power fire > focus miss to handle ferro, msciz, forretress if ur opponent is using it for some reason, and offensive gholdengo. future sight for nuking stuff and making the offensive capabilities of this team even stronger, especially if psychic terrain is up
- bulky mon that still can fire off strong attacks thanks to nasty plot and blocks status moves, making it a good pivot. I gave it more spdef so it can take more hits from mdiancie and tapu lele
- hazard setter with great longevity thanks to poison heal, immensities, tera, etc. toxic for passive damage to wear walls down that aren't steel type, poison type, and named garganacl. this mon is also great if you hate heatran
- good pivot that can defog and threaten status via static. 40 speed to outspeed and pivot out on various things like ttar, corv, garg, pex, etc. hurricane for good chip on things and keep things like mlop in check
- strong and fast fighting type with a great variety of moves. cleans up late game, can potentially ohko things with the support of tera and future sight from lele
--
this team hits a lot of mons, and has good tera variety so your opponent cant safely predict which tera you'll use. the only immediate threat is charizard y, but as long as you get your rocks up and play it safely it can't do too much damage. glhf
https://pokepast.es/e2af291a6e19d2ea (Ogerpon Rain)
ivy cudgel in rain hits like a truck, 2hkoes defensive +2 and tera
Is able to ohko under sun with tera as well
Play rough is nice vs and tera dragons like
Classic + rain to break early game
Spdef to vs ,
synergises well in rain due to being able to break fat water and grass types
Lastly specs to late game sweep under rain

Kommo-o + Waterpon Sand
Teambuilding Process:
Ttar and Excadrill are the classic sand core, Moltres deals with Fighting Types and physical attackers in general, especially MScizor, and punishes U-turn, Ogerpon switches in on water types for them, forming a solid defensive backbone as well as pressuring Urshifu and defensive Tusk, which the Sand core struggles with and decimating Rain. Kommo-o provides a secondary switch-in to water types and Rillaboom, Mola, and Tangrowth under threat, chosen over DNite for its ability to break Metal Birds, which the team otherwise struggles with. Lele provides speed control and means Dondozo doesn't just wall the whole team, as well as appreciating the fact that everything else in the team deals with Heatran and and Clodsire.
Tyranitar-Mega @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 HP / 116 Atk / 140 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
The best Sand setter there is. EVd to live a +2 12 SpA Ghold MiR, and not to get 2hkoed by Scarf Lele Moonblast, Specs Koko Dazzling Gleam, and unboosted Adamant DNite EQ, as well as 2hkoing Tran and Gliscor after Rocks with Stone Edge, while Knock ohkoes defensive Ghold. Knock over Crunch to make better progress, Pursuit to punish things which want to U-turn on it for free and to trap the likes of Ghold and Moltres, Rocks for progress and Stone Edge as a nuke.
Excadrill @ Steelium Z
Ability: Sand Rush
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin
- Swords Dance
Excadrill makes the most of Ttar's sand and serves as my hazard control. The only maybe non-standard thing in Steelium Z, which is run to be break past Zapdos, Moltres, Zard, Tusk and Tera'd Garg at +2 and/or with some chip.
Moltres @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 248 HP / 228 Def / 32 Spe
Bold Nature
- Roost
- Flamethrower
- Toxic
- U-turn
Switches in on physical attackers and fighting types for Ttar. 32 Speed EVs outspeed max Speed Ursaluna Bloodmoon, the rest for physical bulk, allowing it to more than likely not get 3hkoed by Sneasler's pre-Tera Acrobatics, and not to get 2hkoed by Tera Acrobatics, as well as living Scarf Urshifu's Surging Strikes and not getting 2koed by Tera Firepon Ivy Cudgel. Toxic over Hurricane so that Mola and opposing Ttar don't just sit on it, and Tera Dragon to keep the Fire and Grass resists for Ogerpon and Rillaboom, as well as reversing it's weaknesses to Electric and Water for Urshifu and Mixed/Specs Valiant in a pinch.
Ogerpon-Wellspring (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 200 HP / 116 Atk / 192 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- U-turn
- Horn Leech
- Spikes
Works really well with the Sand core as it switches in on water types for free and breaks past Garg and Tusk. EVd to outspeed Garchomp while not getting 2hkoed by Scarf Lele Moonblast (ohkoing with Ivy Cudgel) and +2 12 SpA Ghold after Tera, and Mixed Valiant Moonblast pre-Tera. Run as a spiker as it gets plenty of entry opportunities and scares out half the metagame - Tusk, Ghold, Urshifu, Volc, and sets up Spikes for free. It also beats most, if not all, Ursaluna Bloodmoon variants.
Kommo-o @ Punching Glove
Ability: Bulletproof
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 76 HP / 252 Atk / 180 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Drain Punch
- Thunder Punch
- Ice Punch
- Dragon Dance
One of the team's 2 main wincons. 180 Spe means I outspeed Zama and Lopunny at +1 without really sacrificing any important speed tiers, with the spare EVs going into HP for bulk, meaning Scarf Urshifu Surging Strikes doesn't 3hko and 12 SpA Ghold's MiR doesn't 2hko, as well as helping it break past MScizor. Drain Punch over CC for better longevity, Thunder and Ice Punch for Bolt-Beam coverage, all boosted by Punching Glove. Tera Electric to guarantee the 2hko on Pex and offensive Ghold at +1.
Tapu Lele @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Psychic Surge
Tera Type: Psychic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Standard Scarf Lele as the team's other main wincon. Psychic over Psyshock as my team already has enough ways to remove special walls, and HP Fire over Future Sight for MScizor, which can be really annoying.
Voting ends this Wednesday, 8pm gmt+1I've already put this into the Bazaar, but I think a repost is OK?
Wellspring Sand
As soon as I saw the Wellspring form of Ogerpon I felt it fit good on a more balanced team. Water is definitely one of the most balanced type in the game, also the PokeDex in scarlet claims Wellspring to "excel in both attack and defense". Unlike the burning Hearthflame that smashes opposite teams into pieces, Wellspring is more likely a pivot with notable firepower.
Another thing about Wellspring is that it threaten rain teams a lot. And is there anything that is quite balanced and afraid of rain? Sand of course! TTar is also buffed in DLC1, so why not put them together?
I just started with a Urshifu-R sand (a sample team months ago) and replace the bear with the citrus. The original team has a fero, but I think both water res and spikes is well handled by Wellspring. So I use Ghold instead (a steel type which can always be added when you don't know what to do lol).
After some tryouts I got directly smashed by Hearthflame, so I replaced zapdos with moltres which also deals with rilla better. Choice lele also feel bad (especially when a tera psychic psyshock failed to kill Hearthflame). I need an fast attacker that doesn't use choice item. Too bad Pult is gone, otherwise hex+dart should be good. I tried many other things including traditional pivot koko and sash alaka, which is much more traditional reminding you of the old days lol.
But finally I choose physical Energy Valiant. It serves as a good revenge killer against things like Hearthflame and also a good late game sweeper. It's quite interesting that, CC guarantees a kill on 252AS Hearthflame with rock (so tera fighting also guarantees without rock). Knock Off on Valiant is questionable, as the items on defensive mons are probably already knocked by TTar in the late game.
Team BSiniscteela Balance
Ig I type here???
Siniscteela Balance (pokepast.es)
Very good concept, Zamazenta and Celesteela form a nice support duo around Sinistcha to give it back up in Choice band CC and defense built Heavy Slam, covering Sinistcha's prominent checks. Lando provides stealth and is also a suprise Z Move attacker, Rotom out speeds majority of the uninvested meta, provides resistance to fire for the 2 steel types, and is also a good pivot. Finally, Scizor provides priority for cleaning up late game. The whole team is meant to pivot and allow Sinistcha a chance to set up aganist mons it can decently wall (i.e Baraskweda on rain teams, Ogerpon Water, etc.) Also, please don't diss me or some shit, I don't know how to do the thing where you show the picture of the mons like the example below.
Team C
https://pokepast.es/2ecc01b60615b17c
SiniSharp Balance
Not much thought went into the team and Idfk how to make decent descriptions so I ain't even gonna try
Team DTeam used in this VR post. The concept is to use Sinistcha as a ground, fighting and water type check to complement the Heatran/Landorus-Therian defensive core while also being a late-game threat itself after the LeleShifu + Weavile offensive core has softened up the opposing team. The hyperlinked post has replays of this team where Sinistcha puts in work as both a defensive check to big offensive threats as well as a Pokemon that can snowball into a late-game sweeper - I expect this team to be even better in this post-Hearthflame metagame as Sinistcha can safely run leftovers without worrying about heatproof being ignored. Special thanks to Scalescale and setset77 for the inspiration as well as testing the team

Screens With Sinistcha and Electric Z Valiant
- calm mind tank with good longevity thanks to matcha, screens and strength sap. tera poison to avoid being 2hko'd by mlop and sneasler just in case reflect isn't up for whatever reason and has heatproof to handle the fire weakness before tera
- these three are staple ho mons that are on most ho teams. i'd say this is half of the sinister six of all ho's, the others being dnite, bax, and bm ursa. i hardly have to explain why they're on the team. all 3 have decent initial longevity thanks to screens and have serious sweeping potential. - HP and Tera Ground > Giga Drain and Tera Grass to kill heatran and others and we already have grass coverage in the form of sinistcha. - Sub > Taunt to enable setting up more than you already do and the fact that sub prevents status. - Night Slash > Dire Claw to beat dengo and other ghosts. The high crit rate and SD makes up for the somewhat low power of night slash too
- it has the simple job of setting up screens and terrain to enable the rest of the team. taunt disables hazards that aren't from ceaseless edge and the uncommon stone axe and prevents other screens and only lets grimmsnarl set up one screen. volt switch > u-turn to do decent damage on hazard setters that aren't ground types, but you can hard pivot out on those mons to something like sinistcha, mgyara, and potentially volc that won't take a lot from ground attacks.
- super strong nuke that's hard to manage, as valiant has many sets so gl to ur opponent trying to guess which one you are. tbolt z reachs 227 under terrain so essentially this thing is a nuke. focus blast and moonblast are also strong stabs that get bolstered with calm mind. all of these combined create a very strong sweeper that makes you wonder "how is this allowed"
I think sinistcha provides longevity that otherwise isn't seen on HO that really messes with how your opponent plays against HO, which makes it insanely good for teams like this in my opinion. glhf
