Resource National Dex Ubers Reservation Index

Time for Trick Room. Here to make make mid-ladder worse. Reserving :Melmetal: and :Hatterene:

Melmetal @ Choice Band
Ability: Iron Fist
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
- Double Iron Bash
- Ice Punch
- Thunder Punch
- Superpower / Earthquake

Superpower for Ferrothorn and Earthquake for Necrozma-DM.

Hatterene @ Focus Sash
Ability: Magic Bounce
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Trick Room
- Healing Wish
- Misty Explosion
- Charm / Nuzzle / Psychic / ???

Honestly got no idea what’s going on here. Healing Wish and Misty Explosion are both pretty necessary though since it depends on the situation, as Misty Explosion punishes setup attempts from Dragons and you click Healing Wish otherwise. Tera Fairy is used zero percent of the time because you need Tera to wallbreak with Melmetal or Caly-I, but it allows Hatterene to OHKO Zygarde with Misty Explosion and have a high chance to OHKO Physically Defensive Giratina-O. Don’t really know why Hatt would want a different Tera. 4th moveslot is really flexible but I don’t know what it would be good for since Hatt should usually always auto-KO itself after Trick Room. Charm cripples Zacian-C setting up. So does Nuzzle. Psychic is just filler.

:mawile: It was deemed best in the Discord server for Melmetal to use an EV spread of 56 HP / 248 Atk / 16 Def / 188 SpD (give set(s) by credits to me on this one), it avoids a OHKO from Life Orb Marshadow's Low Kick, defensive Primal Kyogre's +1 Scald, and after Stealth Rock Tera Dark Yveltal's Dark Pulse. Regarding Hatterene, the last two moves should just be Mystical Fire (slashed with Nuzzle, noting down the potential downside of making some anti-leads slower than some allies in Trick Room), and Dazzling Gleam (minimizes mind games with Zygarde Terastallizing compared to Misty Explosion), Tera Ghost would be more desirable to prevent Hatterene from being trapped in scenarios where Magic Bounce would still be of use later on, and for now a EV spread of 168 HP / 84 Def / 252 SpA (give set(s) by credits to me on this one as well), notably this avoids a 2HKO from Dragon Dance Zygarde's Thousand Arrows.

Beyond all of the above, please go ahead!

reserving Arceus-Ghost :arceus-ghost: :spooky-plate: :ghostium-z:
Arceus-Ghost @ Ghostium Z
Ability: Multitype
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 236 Atk / 20 Def / 252 Spe or 188 HP / 252 Atk / 68 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Shadow Force
- Taunt
- Extreme Speed / Brick Break

20 Defense EVs avoids the OHKO from Tera Ghost Choice Band Marshadow's Shadow Sneak
252 Atk Choice Band Technician Tera Ghost Marshadow Shadow Sneak vs. 0 HP / 20 Def Arceus-Ghost: 320-380 (83.9 - 99.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

68 Speed outspeeds Deoxys-A after Dragon Dance

:mawile: Remove the Tera type bit as if it's only going to have Ghostium Z as an item of choice then it can't even Terastallize, replace the second EV spread to 32 HP / 252 Atk / 152 Def / 4 SpD / 68 Spe, it avoids a OHKO from Tera Ghost Choice Band Marsh's Shadow Sneak after SR, CB Tera Flying Rayquaza's Dragon Ascent, and offensive support Primal Groudon's Overheat (also give set credits to Bobsican for this one), and up to you on if Taunt should be slashed with Recover. Beyond all of this, sure!

Finishing up Trick Room. Reserving :Cresselia: and Trick Room :Arceus:

Cresselia (F) @ Mental Herb
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 60 Def / 196 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Atk 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Lunar Dance
- Magic Coat
- Toxic / Psychic

EVs survive Water Spout from Primal Kyogre at full. The Defensive EVs and Nature lets it survive +3 Behemoth Blade from Zacian-C. Tera Water to set Trick Room against +2 Heat Crash Primal Groudon. Magic Coat to deny hazards and block Taunt if needed. Toxic is filler but chips Primal Groudon for breakers. Psychic is also a filler.

Arceus @ Mental Herb
Ability: Multitype
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
- Trick Room
- Taunt
- Healing Wish
- Extreme Speed

Survives Low Kick from Choice Band Marshadow. Taunt denies hazards from slower setters Tera Normal provides a stronger Extreme Speed.

Edit: Don’t mind the Atk EVs on Cresselia Were supposed to be Def. Edited though.

:mawile: Swap Psychic with Future Sight, that spread for Arceus does not do the claimed benchmark, instead use a spread of 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 SpD (Impish) to avoid a OHKO from CB Marsh's Low Kick and a 2HKO from LO Yveltal's Dark Pulse (add set credits to me for this one). Everything else is fine!

Edit: That was supposed to be in Def not SpDef….

Tera Type: Steel / Fairy

- Calm Mind
- Judgment
- Refresh

:mawile: Slash Refresh with Taunt and that's good to go

Reserving Rocks :garganacl:. Just let me know the set / spread that is decided on. I'm assuming the tera type will be Water/Fairy though if you'd like them slashed in a different order let me know. I have this in my builder if something isn't decided on already

Garganacl @ Leftovers
Ability: Purifying Salt
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 100 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Salt Cure
- Protect
- Recover

I'll also take lead :necrozma-ultra:

:mawile: As brought up in the Discord server the ideal SpD Garganacl spread would be 252 HP / 24 Def / 232 SpD (Careful), which avoids a 2HKO from CB Tera Flying Rayquaza's Dragon Ascent, and a OHKO from LO Deoxys-A's Psycho Boost after Stealth Rock (credits to Bobsican on this one), beyond that those reservations are fine!

Reserving :Landorus-Therian: and Trash Mane :Flutter Mane: (set on Dex)

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Poison / Dark
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
IVs: 28 Spe
- Earthquake / Earth Power
- Stealth Rock / Toxic / Rock Slide
- Taunt
- U-turn

IVs allows it to slow pivot on Ho-Oh, although being slower than Primal Groudon and Kyogre may be undesirable so whatever you think is best. EV spread is also a placeholder if you want to optimize it. Tera Poison allows it to absorb T-Spikes check better and check non Behemoth Blade Zacian-C better. Tera Dark lets it serve as an Ultra Necrozma switch-in before pivoting into Marshadow or Chien Pao.

:mawile: Flutter Mane shouldn't have Z-Crystals, and replace Calm Mind on the old set with Taunt, regarding Lando-T, I feel that slow pivoting on Ho-Oh would reduce its longevity quite a lot as it has no recovery and does mind status, would recommend to just run max Speed IVs to outspeed uninvested Primals, anything else can be polished in QC stage, beyond that sure!

Reserving Grimmsnarl :grimmsnarl:

Grimmsnarl @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 248 HP / 152 Def / 108 SpD
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Taunt
- Parting Shot / Foul Play / Spirit Break / Thunder Wave

EVs avoids OHKO from defensive Primal Groudon's Overheat. Parting Shot for pivoting. Foul Play to punish opposing setup from Zacian-C and Arceus. Spirit Break to avoid being too passive into Yveltal and Arceus-Dark. Thunder Wave for general use such as versus CM Arceus formes and Eternatus. Tera Ghost to setup screens/Foul Play into boosted Arceus.

0 SpA Groudon-Primal Overheat vs. 248 HP / 108 SpD Grimmsnarl in Harsh Sunshine: 331-391 (84.2 - 99.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

:mawile: Go ahead!

Since the revamp is underway may as well reserve few analyses to revamp. I think I can do 3?

1. Defensive Primal Groudon

2. Coil Zygarde

3. Offensive Ho-Oh

:mawile: Yeah, sure, I'll get on managing more in depth what else needs revamps next week as I've said elsewhere

Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 28 Atk / 232 SpA / 32 SpD / 216 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Diamond Storm
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock / Substitute

EVs allow Mega Diancie to 2HKO Blissey with Diamond Storm, avoid the 2HKO from Yveltal's Dark Pulse after Mega Evolution, while outspeeding Adamant Mega Salamence
no idea what to name this (Kingambit) @ Black Glasses
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 132 HP / 252 Atk / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
