  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

Having only dropped points against the Phiones, the Ginkals are mathematically qualified and realistically are probably top seed going to playoffs. Grats!

2. Pokerich Clique :venusaur:
Would need to lose 6-0 against Phiones and have one of Heatrans, Slakings, or Gholdengos win to be knocked out of the playoffs spots. GZ Cliques!

now we're getting into the real spicy stuff...

3. Tokyo Gholdengos :gholdeNgo:
While the gholdengos are mathematically highest out of the remaining teams, they're up the Ginkals and are unlikely to gain any points. They need a win to guarantee a place in the finals, and a draw would do if Phiones don't win. However, a loss means they rely on the Heatran Slakings set to not end in a draw and for the Phiones to not gain any points, and I'm confident the Ginkals are not dropping points. I'd love for them to prove me wrong though please don't though I want Phiones to qual :(

Got bored so just grouped these together. Essentially whoever wins qualifies, it's as simple as that. However, a draw will do for the Heatrans if Phiones don't win or Gholds lose, whereas a draw is detrimental for means Slaks only go through if Phiones don't win AND Gholds lose. In any case, a loss for either leaves them essentially out, relying on differential.

6. Pondering Phiones :phione:
At first glance, the Phiones appear to be in a bad spot, with a very bad differential. Any result except a 6-0 victory leaves the Phiones relying on results around them: however it is not impossible or unlikely! A win other than 6-0 would only mean they need Gholdengos to not win or Heatrans and Slakings to draw, and the Phiones can still get through on a draw if Gholdengos lose and one of Heatrans and Slakings lose. The Phiones have the most momentum out of the teams still fighting for a playoff spot going into this week, and the task is by no means insurmountable.

All in all, we seem to be headed for a grand slam finish: with no teams yet out of the running, every game will bring a new twist to the story. Good luck to all, and do not rely on my math because I did it all in my head :)
