Comments:
  1. Molly finally recognized, he hits heavy in NDOU and NDUU
  2. Solid players like SpookyZ and Trade are in the pool, but imo worth less than National Dex specialists in the meta like Maroon. This can be mitigated by drafting really good builders for the team
  3. Weaselfie the new Pannuracotta??
  4. A few players I think are bargains in the mock price list: 23Gz, blce, ChrisPBacon, Dorron, Gray, Instruct, lotiasite, Punset, Stareal, StitChuu, Tico21, TylerTheMilotic, WSun1 (but he'll go for actual $$$ in real auction)

ok bitches, i know mocks are pretty bad (read: awful) at reflecting prices in the actual draft, but waking up to see i've gone for over 20k in another one of these exhibitions of clownery for the past 3 days has slowly given rise to a fear that it'll happen in the real thing, so here's a couple of reminders:

  • I'M GOING TO BE INACTIVE AFTER WEEK 2. this means that instead of the usual 15 min of prep, i'll spend 2 minutes, maybe sub 60 seconds whipping up some untested team(s) or editing some wack shit already in my builder.
  • I HAVE NO OFFICIAL INDIVIDUAL TOUR GALAR EXPERIENCE. just think: would you really consider me a top 10 bo3 galar player even if pretty much all my playing experience is on ladder? don't listen to baconeatinassassin . sure, i won the (redacted) tour, but keep in mind that
    • there wasn't timer, so i had free rein to take 5 minutes per turn to think
    • despite this, i nearly choked 2 of my games needlessly and got bailed out both times due to luck and the wrong move on pheromosa
    • i had someone to tell me that we needed to pull the trigger when i didn't want to
  • I'M CRUST AT ND OU. even though it's my favourite format, i've probably played less than 50 games total in the past 18 months and built around 0 new teams so don't expect to just chuck me in without support and expect me to play optimally.
it's not like i'm the supreme almighty pre-eminent pokemon god or something. don't be an idiot.

  • I'M GOING TO BE ACTIVE EVERY FUCKING DAY. This means that instead of the usual 5 min of prep, i'll actually think about my team and my opponent. Maybe I'll even play some test games and make changes to it too
  • I HAVE PREVIOUS OFFICIAL ND TOUR EXPERIENCE. just think: would you really consider not drafting the first player drafted in the previous NDPL? even if pretty much all my playing experience was a year ago? don't listen to cy. I dont clown around, I only tryhard every day
  • I AM UP TO DATE. yeah, im pretty sure the last thing I did with natdex was build a team with magearna, mega mawile, and cinderace. so I have a very solid understanding of current threats and their checks. I also completely understand all gen 8 mechanics, as nothing has changed since like, DPP era, right?
it's not like i'm here to just meme and make fun of people who main fanfiction tiers. don't be an idiot.
