[SET COMMENTS]
Weakness Policy Necrozma-DM is a fearsome wallbreaker and mid- to late-game cleaner. Dragon Dance is an excellent tool to boost Necrozma-DM’s damage while also fixing its subpar Speed tier. Sunsteel Strike is a powerful STAB move that threatens most of the tier at +1. Necrozma-DM’s coverage options help break down common Pokemon that resist it, with Earthquake hitting Heatran and opposing Necrozma-DM and Stone Edge hitting Ho-Oh and Corviknight, which otherwise completely wall it. Prism Armor allows Necrozma-DM to shrug off super effective attacks and activate Weakness Policy more easily, putting it in a position to sweep.

Necrozma-DM is best utilized on balance or bulky offense teams as a mid- or late-game cleaner, capable of shredding defensive cores after its checks have been removed. Necrozma-DM's solid defensive stats bolster teammates like Defensive Clefable and Assault Vest Tangrowth immensely, making for some very tough defensive cores. Many Pokemon such as Rillaboom, Victini, and Zeraora appreciate inheriting Necrozma-DM's high Attack stat and its ability to pressure common Pokemon such as Clefable. In turn, these Pokemon threaten the Water- and Steel-types that Necrozma-DM has trouble beating, such as Slowbro, Corviknight, and Skarmory. Necrozma-DM fears fast offensive Pokemon that carry super effective moves such as Rayquaza and Garchomp, whose sheer strength can overwhelm Necrozma-DM. Unaware users like Clefable are useful to ignore setup from these threats, and Pokemon with super effective priority such as Weavile can clean them up after chip.

[SET COMMENTS]
Necrozma's typing, bulk, and access to reliable recovery make it a great specially defensive wall. Sunsteel Strike lets Necrozma-DM still do respectable damage, and Knock Off is a handy utility move to punish common switch-ins like Ho-Oh and remove damage boosting items from wallbreakers. Toxic cripples defensive Pokemon like Rotom-W and Landorus-T, while Thunder Wave cripples switch-ins like Heatran. Earthquake provides good coverage to hit offensive switch-ins like Heatran, but generally isn’t as useful as spreading status. Morning Sun improves Necrozma-DM’s longevity greatly, but must be used sparingly, for it has very low PP. Leftovers is necessary to provide much needed passive recovery.

Necrozma-DM can form well-rounded defensive cores with Pokemon such as Tangrowth and Buzzwole, who love to receive Necrozma-DM’s Special Defense stat. Both resist Ground, with the latter resisting Dark as well, which helps cover Necrozma-DM's weaknesses. Rotom-W and Necrozma-DM have good defensive synergy, with Rotom-W providing a resistance to Fire, an immunity to Ground, and sporting great bulk with an HP donation, while Necrozma-DM walls Grass-types such as Rillaboom, as it resists their STAB moves. Necrozma-DM is great at spreading status and removing items from switch-ins like Ho-Oh, which helps teammates that struggle with these threats pick up KOs on the weakened foes. Tapu Koko is a great Special Attack receiver to break past various Water-types that are not threatened by Necrozma-DM. Victini is a good choice to receive Attack and counter Steel-types such Skarmory and Corviknight, which wall Necrozma-DM and turn it into setup fodder, while also hitting Water-types with Bolt Strike.

[SET COMMENTS]
This set combines Necrozma-DM's offensive and defensive utility to create something that can take a hit and hit back hard. Dragon Dance allows Necrozma-DM to become a threatening cleaner versus weakened teams, while Swords Dance is helpful to wallbreak early-game. Sunsteel Strike is an excellent STAB move with great power and good coverage. Knock Off has great neutral coverage with Sunsteel Strike and weakens its checks by removing their items, while Stone Edge hits Flying-types such as Ho-oh and Earthquake hits Steel-types such as Heatran. Morning Sun and Leftovers give Necrozma-DM respectable longevity, but Morning Sun must be rationed so its low PP doesn't run out. Maximum Attack and an Adamant nature maximize damage output while the Speed investment outspeeds base 100 Speed foes after a Dragon Dance.

Pokemon such as Buzzwole and Tangrowth are excellent defensive presences if they receive Necrozma-DM's Special Defense stat, as they resist the Ground moves that threaten Necrozma-DM. Victini loves receiving Necrozma-DM's Attack stat and can threaten many Pokemon that Necrozma-DM can't beat like Ferrothorn and Skarmory. Entry hazard setters like Ferrothorn and Landorus-T help Necrozma-DM wear down its checks faster, with the latter being able to pivot it in with U-turn. This set struggles with Ground-types like Garchomp and Landorus-T, so teammates like Rotom-W, Landorus-T, and Skarmory are recommended. Skarmory and Ho-Oh are especially troublesome Pokemon for Necrozma-DM to face, as both resist Sunsteel Strike and wall sets that lack Stone Edge, so Electric-types like Tapu Koko and Zeraora that can handle these threats for Necrozma-DM, while also keeping up momentum with pivot moves, make great partners. Magnezone is also a valuable partner, as it traps and removes Skarmory and Corviknight.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Necrozma-DM can opt to run physically defensive set with a Rocky Helmet to more reliably wall physical threats like Rillaboom. Photon Geyser can be run over Earthquake on Necrozma-DM’s Dragon Dance set to target specific Pokemon like Nidoqueen, which threaten it with Ground-type moves, but is generally inferior to Earthquake’s coverage. Defensive sets can run Stealth Rock if their team lacks entry hazard setters, but being forced to give up one of its utility moves is usually not worth it.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Ground-types**: Physically defensive Ground-types like Landorus-T can switch into Necrozma-DM and threaten it with Earthquake. However, they should be wary of Toxic.

**Water-types**: Bulky Water-types like Slowking, Slowbro, Tapu Fini, and Rotom-W can wall Necrozma-DM, Tapu Fini being notable for blocking Toxic and the rest for being able to burn it. However, Slowking and Slowbro must be wary of Knock Off, and Tapu Fini can be 2HKOed by a +1 Sunsteel Strike from offensive sets.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types like Skarmory, Corviknight, and Ferrothorn resist Sunsteel Strike and take insignificant amounts of damage from Necrozma-DM’s coverage. Skarmory and Corviknight can set up on defensive Necrozma-DM with Bulk Up and Iron Defense, and Ferrothorn can eternally outlast it with a combination of Leech Seed, Protect, and Leftovers.

**Setup Sweepers**: Powerful setup sweepers like Garchomp and Rayquaza can overwhelm even defensive Necrozma-DM with strong super effective moves, threatening all variants with a +2 Earthquake or a +1 V-create, respectively.

**Ho-Oh**: Ho-Oh resists Sunsteel Strike, is immune to Earthquake, and can hit back hard with Sacred Fire. However, Ho-Oh must fear heavy damage from Stone Edge from offensive sets.

This set is capable of acting as a Weakness Policy Necrozma-DM is a fearsome wallbreaker and mid-game or late-game cleaner. Dragon Dance is an excellent tool to boost Necrozma-DM’s damage while also fixing the issue of its subpar Speed tier. All neutral targets must fear a +1 Sunsteel Strike Sunsteel Strike is a powerful STAB attack that threatens most of the metagame at +1, and Necrozma-DM’s coverage options help break down common Pokemon like Heatran and Ho-Oh that resist it. you do need to breifly mention the moves themselves; Earthquake helps against Heatran and opposing NDM, while Stone Edge threatens Ho-Oh and is its best option against Corv, for example Prism Armor allows Necrozma-DM to shrug off super effective attacks more easily, activating Weakness Policy and putting Necrozma-DM in a position to sweep. Full investment into Attack investment sends Necrozma-DM’s damage output through the roof, while maximum Speed and a Jolly nature are vital to allow Necrozma-DM to outpace as many pokemon Pokemon as possible after a boost need to give examples of what it outspeeds.

Necrozma-DM is best utilized on balance or bulky offense teams as a mid- or late-game cleaner, capable of shredding defensive cores after its checks have been removed. Rillaboom loves Necrozma-DM’s ability to take out defensive Pokemon like Clefable and, via coverage, Heatran and Ho-Oh. In return, Rillaboom threatens Water-types like Slowking and Slowbro with its Grassy Terrain boosted STAB moves. Pokemon with high Base Power moves like Victini and Zeraora love to receive Necrozma-DM’s Attack stat, enabling them to hammer a wide variety of targets and check ever annoying Steel- and Water-types respectively. Necrozma-DM can struggle to break through Water-types like Slowking and Slowbro, so pokemon like Tapu-Koko and Zeraora make for good teammates. Necrozma-DM can also have issues getting past bulky Steel-type HP receivers like Ferrothorn and Skarmory, which resist Sunsteel Strike and can weather Necrozma-DM's coverage with their recovery. Teammates that counter these threats such as Victini and Volcarona are solid picks. this is generally good, I would be a little more explicit that NDM also donates good defensive stats to help build a bulky core Victini also boosts the accuracy of Stone Edge, which is helpful in taking down Ho-Oh. that is not how Victory Star works

This set takes advantage of Necrozma-DM’s natural defensive prowess Necrozma's typing, bulk, and access to reliable recovery make it a great specially defensive wall. Between its many resistances and Prism Armor, this set can wall a myriad of physical attackers. Sunsteel Strike lets Necrozma-DM dish out large damage while taking little in return still do respectable damage. Knock Off is a handy utility move to remove the items off of switch ins punish common switch-ins like Ho-Oh and remove damage boosting items from wallbreakers. Toxic cripples defensive Pokemon like Rotom-W and Landorus-T, while Thunder Wave weakens switch ins switch-ins like Ho-Oh. Earthquake provides good coverage, but generally isn’t as useful as spreading status. Morning Sun improves Necrozma-DM’s longevity greatly, but must be used sparingly, for it has very low PP. Rocky Helmet chips down attackers when switching in and can put mons into KO range from teammates, while Leftovers provides much needed passive recovery. Max HP and Defense alongside an Impish nature is used to take as many hits from physical attackers as possible. you generally don't need to explain max/max spreads, unless there is a very relevant example of why it needs to be max/max

Necrozma-DM can form well rounded defensive cores with pokemon Pokemon such as Tangrowth and Buzzwole, who love to receive Necrozma-DM’s Special Defense stat. Rotom-W and Necrozma-DM have good defensive synergy, with Rotom-W providing a Fire-type resistance and a Ground-type immunity, while Necrozma-DM is able to wall Rillaboom for it and punish Grassy Glide with Rocky Helmet damage. Tapu Koko is a great teammate to break past various Water-types that could care less about Sunsteel Strike, with the added benefit of being able to pivot Necrozma-DM in with U-turn or Volt Switch. Victini is another good choice to counter Steel-types such Skarmory and Corviknight, which wall Necrozma-DM and turn it into setup fodder, while also hitting Water-types with Bolt Strike. I would also mention how its utility at spreading status and removing items help breakers and mons with common checks like Ho-Oh

This set combines Necrozma-DM's set up potential with its defensive utility to create something that can take a hit and hit back hard. Swords Dance sends Necrozma-DM's already high Attack to outer space, while Dragon Dance builds upon its mediocre Speed tier Dragon Dance allows Necrozma-DM to be a threatening cleaner against weakened teams, while Swords Dance is an option to wallbreak early-game. Sunsteel Strike is an excellent STAB move, as all but the bulkiest of neutral targets are unable to withstand it for very long with great power and good coverage. Knock off is a nifty move that removes Leftovers from defensive switch ins like Rotom-W and Ferrothorn Off has good neutral coverage with Sunsteel Strike and weakenes its checks by removing their items, while Stone Edge and Earthquake handle Pokemon like Ho-Oh and Heatran, which otherwise comfortably wall Necrozma-DM. Morning Sun and Leftovers give Necrozma-DM respectable longevity, but Morning Sun must be rationed so its low PP doesn't run out. Max Maximum Attack and an Adamant nature are to maximize damage output after a Swords Dance, while the Speed investment is to always outspeed Calyrex-I and paralyzed Pheromosa, as well as its speed inheritors. The rest is dumped into HP so Necrozma-DM can take more hits while setting up outspeed base 100 Speed foes after a Dragon Dance.

Buzzwole loves Necrozma-DM's ability to handle Clefable, for even Unaware variants are 2HKOed by Sunsteel Strike. Buzzwole also becomes an excellent defensive presence after receiving Necrozma-DM's Special Defense stat. Furthermore, Buzzwole can hit Skarmory, Corviknight, and Water-types with Thunder Punch, Landorus-T and Garchomp with Ice Punch, and Bisharp and Ferrothorn with Close Combat, all of which give Necrozma-DM a hard time. too much detail on Buzz Victini loves receiving Necrozma-DM's Attack stat and can use its ample coverage to soft check many Pokemon that Necrozma-DM can't break. Hazard Entry hazard setters like Ferrothorn and Landorus-T help Necrozma-DM break through teams more easily after chip, with the ladder latter being able to pivot it in via U-turn. This set struggles with Ground-types like Garchomp and opposing Landorus-T, so it's good to have ground immune Pokemon like Rotom-W, Landorus-T, and Skarmory to switch out to. I would add more detail on its checks like Skarmory and Ho-Oh, and how to beat them.

This is a really nice start, but needs a little clean up before I'm ready to give QC approval. Really good job for a first-pass at a three-set analysis, and welcome to C&C! Give me a shout when these changes are implemented.

Made all the changes you suggested, thanks for the feedback (there's two hours of typing on my phone I'll never get back lol)

Morning Sun improves Necrozma-DM’s longevity greatly, but must be used sparingly, for it has very low PP. Rocky Helmet chips down attackers when switching in and can put mons into KO range from teammates, while Leftovers provides much needed passive recovery. Rocky Helmet seems like a weird choice on a SpDef set, and I would recommend moving it to the other options section when you talk about the physically defensive set

Necrozma-DM can form well rounded defensive cores with Pokemon such as Tangrowth and Buzzwole, who love to receive Necrozma-DM’s Special Defense stat. why do they form a good core? Morning Sun improves Necrozma-DM’s longevity greatly, but must be used sparingly, for it has very low PP. Leftovers is necessary to provide much needed passive recovery.

Necrozma-DM can form well rounded defensive cores with Pokemon such as Tangrowth and Buzzwole, who love to receive Necrozma-DM’s Special Defense stat. Both resist Ground-type moves, with the latter resisting Dark-type moves as well, which Necrozma-DM is weak to. Rotom-W and Necrozma-DM have good defensive synergy, with Rotom-W providing a Fire-type resistance, a Ground-type immunity, and sporting great bulk with an HP donation, and Necrozma-DM being able to help wall Grass-types such as Rillaboom, as it resists its their STAB moves. Necrozma-DM is great at spreading status and removing items from switch-ins like Ho-Oh, which helps teammates that struggle with these threats pick up KOs on the weakened foes. Special Attack reciever receiver Tapu Koko is a great teammate to break past various Water-types that are not threatened by Necrozma-DM. Attack reciever receiver Victini is another good choice to counter Steel-types such Skarmory and Corviknight, which wall Necrozma-DM and turn it into setup fodder, while also hitting Water-types with Bolt Strike.

[SET COMMENTS]
This set combines Necrozma-DM's offensive and defensive utility to create something that can take a hit and hit back hard. Dragon Dance allows Necrozma-DM to become a threatening cleaner versus weakened teams, while Swords Dance is helpful to break early-game. Sunsteel Strike is an excellent STAB move, with great power and good coverage. Maximum Attack and an Adamant nature are to maximize damage output while the Speed investment is to outspeed base 100 Speed foes after a Dragon Dance.

Offensive Buzzwole loves Necrozma-DM's ability to handle Clefable, which walls it, for even Unaware variants are 2HKOed by Sunsteel Strike. i dont think offensive Buzzwole is common/good enough to be mentioned Pokemon such as Buzzwole and Tangrowth can also be an excellent defensive presence if it receives they receive Necrozma-DM's Special Defense stat, as they resist the Ground-type moves that threaten Necrozma-DM. Victini loves receiving Necrozma-DM's Attack stat and can use its ample coverage to soft check many Pokemon that Necrozma-DM can't break like Ferrothorn and Skarmory. Entry hazard setters like Ferrothorn and Landorus-T help Necrozma-DM wear down its checks faster, with the latter being able to pivot it in via U-turn. This set struggles with Ground-types like Garchomp and opposing Landorus-T, so it's good to have ground immune Pokemon like Rotom-W, Landorus-T, and Skarmory to switch out to. Skarmory and Ho-Oh are especially troublsome troublesome Pokemon for Necrozma-DM to face, as both resist Sunsteel Strike and wall sets that lack Stone Edge. Electric-types like Tapu Koko and Zeraora can handle these threats for Necrozma-DM, while also being able to keep up momentum with pivot moves. Magnezone is also a valuable partner, as it traps and removes Skarmory and Corviknight.

Other Options
=============

Necrozma-DM can opt to run physically defensive set with a Rocky Helmet to more reliably wall physical threats like Rillaboom. Photon Geyser can be run over Earthquake on Necrozma-DM’s Dragon Dance set to target specific Pokemon like Nidoqueen, which threatens it with Ground-type moves, but is generally inferior to Earthquake’s coverage. Defensive sets can run Stealth Rock if their teams lack entry hazard setters, but being forcec forced to give up one of its utility moves is usually not worth it.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Ground-types**: Physically defensive Ground-types like Landorus-T can switch into Necrozma-DM and threaten it with Earthquake. However, they should be wary of Toxic.

**Water-types**: Bulky Water-types like Slowking, Slowbro, Tapu Fini, and Rotom-W can wall Necrozma-DM, Tapu Fini being notable for disabling Toxic and the rest for being able to burn it.

Skarmory and Corviknight can set up on Defensive Necrozma-DM with Bulk Up and Iron Defense, while Ferrothorn can eternally outlast it with a combination of Leech Seed, Protect, and Leftovers.

**Set Up Sweepers**: Powerful set up sweepers like Garchomp and Rayquaza can overwhelm even Defensive Necrozma-DM with strong super effective moves, being able to threaten all variants with a +2 Earthquake or a +1 V-create respectively.

**Ho-Oh**: Ho-Oh resists Sunsteel Strike, is immune to Earthquake, and can hit back hard with Sacred Fire. However, Ho-Oh must fear heavy damage from Stone Edge from offensive sets.

Weakness Policy Necrozma-DM is a fearsome wallbreaker and mid- or to late-game cleaner. Dragon Dance is an excellent tool to boost Necrozma-DM’s damage while also fixing its subpar Speed tier. Sunsteel Strike is an excellent a powerful STAB move that threatens most of the tier at +1, and +1. Necrozma-DM’s coverage options help break down common Pokemon that resist it, with Earthquake hitting Heatran and opposing Necrozma-DM, (comma) and Stone Edge hitting Ho-Oh, while also being Necrozma-DM's best way to hit Corviknight, which completely walls it otherwise Ho-Oh and Corviknight, which otherwise completely wall it. Prism Armor allows Necrozma-DM to shrug off super effective attacks more easily, activating Weakness Policy and putting Necrozma-DM and activate Weakness Policy more easily, putting it in a position to sweep.

Many Pokemon such as Rillaboom, Victini, and Zeraora appreciate inheriting Necrozma-DM's High high Attack stat and its ability to pressure common Pokemon such as Clefable. In turn, (comma) these Pokemon threaten the Water- and Steel-types that Necrozma-DM has trouble breaking beating, such as Slowbro, Corviknight, and Skarmory. Necrozma-DM fears fast offensive Pokemon that carry super effective moves such as Rayquaza and Garchomp, who's whose sheer strength can overwhelm Necrozma-DM. Unaware users like Clefable are useful to ignore setup from these threats, and Pokemon with super effective priority such as Weavile can clean up these threats them up after chip.

Necrozma's typing, bulk, and access to reliable recovery make it a great specially defensive wall.
