Need help with wifi sun team

My favorite weather is sun. While this is unfortunate (well, not as unfortunate as if my favorite weather were hail), I really can't enjoy the game if i'm playing with pokemon or strategies I don't like; i only play with favorites, but those favorites have to work. I hate politoed and abomasnow with a passion, and while sand is definitely cool, it's a little too broken for me to enjoy. I do however love ninetales and all the common sun pokemon.

But, yeah...sun kinda sucks. Which is why it's unfortunate.

What is even more unfortunate is that I don't hack or RNG. This means no Hidden Power Fire Chlorosaur, or any hidden powers at all. I also hate blaziken with the same passion i hate politoed with, so i won't be using the chicken either.

At first I thought building a sun team would be worthless without an HP fire chlorosaur and the like, but i've diligently tested and tested some more, and i've found an even better sweeper than venusaur. The real problem is that I have found only four pokemon that feel completely necessary to the team, and I really can't seem to come up with anything else; also, my leisure time has all but disappeared and I don't have much time for testing anymore. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone can help me fill some empty slots.

Anyway, enough of my yammering. Here's my core (I lost my EV records when my PC crashed, so previous gen pokemon might be left blank):

@life orb
Timid, 252speed/252spa
Fire Blast
Solarbeam
Will-O-Wisp
Hypnosis

You obviously can't have a sun team without this kyuubi. Keep in mind that this isn't necessarily a lead. I know that people don't like solarbeam on ninetales, but I never really understood this at all; if you know your opponent is packing a weather changer, why would you ever use solarbeam? I've got two statuses for that (one of which is not confuse ray...why do so many people use that on ninetales?). Neither ttar nor hippowdon appreciate a burn, and nothing likes being put to sleep. 'Double powder' is greatly improved by team preview.

@Life Orb
Adamant, Chlorophyll
140HP, 252atk, 116speed
Return
Swords Dance
Horn Leech
Nature Power

I was all depressed because I knew i'd never be able to use venusaur, and then this dude comes out of nowhere to make me forget that venusaur even exists. Holy crap at this thing in the sun; 510 speed and 656 attack in one turn of setup with great coverage that is only walled by things that sun teams utterly destroy (skarmory, bronzong). I never looked twice at sawsbuck before. It looked cool as hell (i love stags and deer and stuff), but pokemon I use need to be, well, useable. Once I saw this thing's ridiculous sweeping capabilities in the sun, it became one of my favorite pokemon and it is a requirement on any sun team I make.

488.gif
@Light Clay
Bold, levitate
Reflect
Light Screen
Lunar Dance
Moonlight

I forget the EVs I gave this thing, but they are all defensive. It's a really good cresselia; it's the 2nd best legend I ever caught, which is doubly cool because it's roaming. I find cresselia to be an amazing pokemon for sun teams because it offers an earthquake immunity and fighting resist, dual screens, the ability to make sure my sweeper gets in safe or to heal a burn, and ridiculous walling/stalling with a buffed moonlight. Screens help my team immensely, especially sawsbuck.

Note: Moonlight doesn't help much; sure, it allows it to stall indefinitely, but since you're just sitting there, you're really just waiting to get critical hitted. I really can't think of anything else for that slot though. It's just a shame I already transferred it or I would have given it magic coat.

485.gif
@Leftovers
Modest, Flash Fire
Fire Blast
Earth Power
Stealth Rock
Dragon Pulse

The best legendary I ever caught, Heatran is one of my all-time favorite pokemon (starting to understand why I love sun so much?) and is paired nearly perfectly with Cresselia, who takes nothing from ground and barely anything from fighting and water (with the sun up). Every team needs a steel type, and this one has amazing typing, bulk, utility and offense all rolled into one. Fire Blast from this thing in the sun is insane. Dragon Pulse poops on dragons that are expecting to eat a fire attack.

Flash Fire means that it can switch into will-o-wisps from clops/noir and the occasional cofragigus that are aimed at sawsbuck and ohko them all.

And those are the four pokemon that really must make it onto the team. My problem, and the reason why I made this RMT, is that I can't seem to find two more pokemon that feel necessary to the team. I could really use some help filling the final two slots with useful stuff, perhaps hard counters to pokemon that you see as a major threat to this core or pokemon that support this core.

Here are the two pokemon that i've been using that need replacing:

@life orb
Close Combat
Mach Punch
Overheat
Stone Edge

Awesome stallbreaker. Priority is always nice (especially with all the lolcloysters around), and boosted overheat kills most physical walls. Most importantly, it isn't a chicken in bellbottoms. I find this thing 'sweeping' often, even completely unaided. I just really don't want to have three fire types on a team, even if only one of them is weak to stealth rock; also, this dies to paralysis, which means it has a tough time switching into blissey and jirachi.

547.gif
@leftovers
Careful, Prankster
252Hp/252spdef/4def
Leech Seed
Encore
U-turn
Toxic

My favorite pokemon is an ok fit for the team because it prevents stuff from setting up on cresselia and can toxic stuff for cresselia too (so it isn't just sitting their moonlighting for no reason). The typing adds nothing to the core though, and it doesn't benefit from sun in any way. It's a weak link on this team.

So there you have it. Any suggestions or replacements would be more than helpful.

Hey, I'll give you some pointers for your Sun team. A little difficult since you can't use HP, but anyway. Also, you shouldn't think Sun is a worse weather than any other. It may be hard to play and teambuild for, but if done well it really is a force to be reckoned with.

For Tales, I'm gonna go with the classic don't use SolarBeam. Yeah you know not to use it whilst there's a TTar around, but you're essentially just crippling yourself by only being able to use 3 moveslots, and ask yourself this - what exactly is Tales going to be sweeping with Fire+Grass moves and mediocre at best speed? The main things you want to hit are water types, who Sawsbuck utterly destroys and if in Rain killing them will not be Tales' job - surviving will be. I like the double powder approach, but consider Toxic over Hypnosis as it is far more reliable and maims Politoed much more than WoW. Anyway, in the slot where SolarBeam is, I'd go for Rest, and use Chesto Berry as your item. You want Tales to survive, and since it's capacity for sweeping is low at best, you may as well focus on outlasting the other weather inducers. Using an EV spread of 160Spe/248HP with the rest in SpA or SpD gives you good bulk and speed to revenge Excadrill with, so I recommend that as her offences are poor even when invested in.

Sawsbuck looks okay, I recommend Jump Kick over Nature Power for TTar and Balloon Fire mons, however. Double-Edge also OHKOs Latios after SR where Return fails, so consider that. Lastly, I'd put enough in Spe to beat base 110 Scarfers (not too much more than you have now I think) purely so you have insurance against the rare scarf Terakion and Latios.

For Cress I'd drop either Moonlight or Lunar Dance depending on what you want it to do - support better or live longer - and use Ice Beam. This girl beats Mence and similar like noone else, it's a shame to waste that potential when Sun has huge issues getting past bulky dragons. Not to mention you're taunt bait.

Heatran looks cool, if you can fit SR onto something else in the last two slots you should give Flame Charge a go, +1 Spe Tran demolishes some unprepared teams.

Now, if you want to keep Infernape (a fine choice for a sweeper in Sun) then I'd recommend altering to a set who can abuse your Dual Screens to setup. NPape or Mixape if you have Blissey problems is probably the best choice, check out the analysis to see what you could use, but there's little point to screens if you cannot utilize them effectively.

Now, in the last slot I wouldn't use Whimsicott. In Sun it's somewhat outclassed by Jumpluff, but in any case I'd think about adding a spinner here, since Tales hates SR so much. A more offensive approach to a spinner seems prudent since you only actually have one SR weak, so I'd think abotu Starmie here - Scarf can revenge many problem pokemon at +1 or even 2, whilst getting off a surprise spin, Specs packs awesome power and you can use a bulkier set if you wish too.

Let me know what you think of the above suggestions, it's a little hard to recommend things when you can't use HP so you may not see the above working out.

I think I do want to keep infernape because it's very impressive as it is, and you're right about the screen support too. I think i'm definitely going to try out a swords dance set w/ overheat.

Starmie was also a great suggestion, i think I will make that change as well. It's not like it needs a water attack. I'm off to test this stuff on PO.

Sand teams can give hell to this team. Tyranitar can kill Ninetales and something like Excadrill would OHKO everything else. Gliscor could be a good option here.
