Angered, Dratini thrashes about, inciting a frenzy that enhances the gusto of its actions. It then charges Salandit, delivering a staggering blow with its tail; the ferocity of this attack breaks Salandit's concentration, stymying the latter's efforts to weaponize a particularly dreadful secretion. Emboldened by the success of its previous attack, Dratini slams its tail into Salandit, the appendage cloaked with a watery veil that briefly douses the victim. In retaliation, Salandit sprays Dratini with a potent chemical, catalyzing a reaction that wracks Dratini's body with intense pain. Despite its tenuous control over its failing musculature, Dratini crashes into Salandit with great force, propelling its target to the far side of the arena; after a brief flight, Salandit collides with a stadium wall, its brief impact accompanied by a dull thud before the defeated creature drops to the ground in a state of unconsciousness. With that, Neko has successfully depleted their opponent's team, and, as their battered Dratini stands in defiance of its escalating affliction, Neko also has earned their first victory.
