Hey sorry I'm new so if this wasn't the right section to start this forum I'm sorry but I am clueless as to how this site works. I have a few pokemon games, but have never battled competitvely and I'd like to, but I don't know how you guys battle. I know about Shoddybattle, so you must battle on the computer, but where do you get the pokemon from? Is there someway to link your cartridge games to the simulator, or do you use internet games, or do you just select rental pokemon and select their EVs. If its one of the first two, does everyone here battle with level 100 pokemon? I feel really stupid asking about this but I'm very curious to know.
 
I've been looking around the site, I initially came to information on pokemon, then discovered the battling, but I still don't understand how it works because I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere. Can you please explain to me how it all works.
 
If you just lurk for a while (or even just read the stickies) it's pretty easy to figure out what is going on. Next time take 10 minutes to do some reading instead of making a useless thread to ask an unanswerable question.
