New Pokémon anime based on Pokemon Red & Blue

Anyways I'm really hoping this is a full anime that will run alongside XY. I'll definitely give this a shot even if it turns out to be bad. I haven't watched the anime in well over 7 years but if they keep the filler to a minimum I'd all for it.

Also, it would be awesome if Gamefreak and Nintendo got the original Red and Blue on the eShop to celebrate this! And maybe the anime will teach us the origins of the infamous "... ... ... (* 10)" battle. OR IF BLUE'S RATICATE IS ACTUALLY DEAD OMG
 
I'm so excited for this, seriously look how gorgeous it is. Beautiful! It's been confirmed as just one episode though? That kinda sucks, I thought I heard somewhere it was going to be "airing every wednesday" or something. Does that mean they're just airing this same episode every wednesday?
 
Serebii originally reported it would air every Wednesday. They've since recanted that statement, identified it as a special, and said it will air on Wednesday, October 2. It was just a mix up on their part.
 
Not a fan of the anime, but this looks like it's trying to recapturing how you play in the games, which is cool.
 
This is probably an experiment for them and if it goes very well then they will probably make a series for us. One where the main character is actually good.
 
A more mature Pokemon anime i guess you could say.... Awesome! I really do hope it has more battles, and less of that Contest stuff :3
