New team for no Chomp

id say lax possibly, cuz your 2 is a good wall with good moves and a reliable revovery. And your lax now gets no attacks on even a gengar, and cursing only invites opponents to setup

We're probably going to see a lot more of Lucario now that Garchomp is gone, so having four Fighting weaknesses isn't a really good idea. That's an invitation to a Lucario sweep, even Infernape for that matter. A LO Mence without Roost aren't durable enough to function as a counter to Fighting types in general, and you'll have some serious issues playing around them. Just a heads up.

Your team doesn't really lack anything on the offensive though. But how about running a Spiritomb is place of Tyranitar? I mean, Spiritomb also got Pursuit and is a pretty durable Pokémon, and is imo the best Fighting counter in-game. Pressure is great for stalling CC and Dynamicpunch, while Will-o-Wisp seriously cripple all Fighting types not named Heracross. Spiritomb will also help you immensely against Deoxys-S, and that's not something you should overlook!

Roost on Salamence would be a pretty good investment imho. Salamence would become more durable, and can function as a counter for specific threats. It would also allow you to switch in more frequently, not to mention help you out more in tight situations.

Seems like a solid offensive team overall, good job. :)

If you're worried about Heracross - then my suggestion to make that Salamence a little bit Bulkier. Try the Bulky Mence set in the analysis - they seem to do wonders dealing with Heracross - and gives you a bit of an insurance against SD Lucario should one of them decide to Close Combat randomly as heatran comes in, or should your Fire Blast miss and Lucario nails you (this happens to me a lot soooooooooo)

Deoxys E is probably the bigger threat though - nothing in your team really stands up to it (especially since you're planning on tricking that Choice Scarf on Kazam away). Your best hope is to Paralyze it with Porygon 2 - but considering Pory2 is meant to counter Salamence, Dragonite, heatran, Gyarados, etc, it might get a little bit overloaded since a standard team will carry at least two to three of these Pokemon. Gengar can be a threat after you trick that Scarf away with Alakazam - especially since it enjoys subbing up while you switch so it gets a free shot at Kazam and Heatran who you would likely try to switch in on it. Snorlax is utterly walled by it.

My suggestion is to add Metagross over Snorlax - With a Lum Berry and Pursuit and bullet Punch, it makes quick work of Deoxys and Gengar - and I wouldnt worry about special threats TOO much considering Heatran does a pretty good job switching into Specsmences and Azelfs and the other special threats maul Snorlax anyway. Metagross can also take a few special hits with 252 HP EVs invested. If you are intent on running Snorlax - I would replace Curse with pursuit or crunch - snorlax just doesnt have time to set up anymore considering how offensive the metagame is.

@Pory2: Why run discharge when you have TWave? I spose to nail switch-ins, but can't you just TWave on the switch and attack the next turn?

12 SAtk Modest Porygon 2 Discharge on a 72 HP Gyarados: 76.79 % - 90.54 %

Not even a OHKO.

12 SAtk Modest Porygon 2 Thunderbolt on a 72 HP Gyarados: 90.54 % - 107.74 %

About a 7/16 chance to OHKO.

Agreeing with Tangerine to replace CurseLax: great in RSE, but just doesn't have the opportunity to set up in this offensive metagame. It is walled by any levitating ghost as well. A RestTalk set could work, working as a sleep absorb but still as a moderately hard hitter.

Your team looks like it is incredibly weak to Gyarados. Once Porygon 2 goes down, it can sweep your team without breaking a sweat if it has at least 2 DD's up. Try using this instead:

Try DD/Dragon Claw/EQ/Roost with Jolly 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 Spe over your mence. Or maybe MixMence for the bliss issues. Also try max/max on Porygon, the EVs in the analysis are kinda random.
