Have not played Pokemon since 3 years ago. I have no idea what the D/P meta-game is like, therefore my team was more-or-less arbitrarily chosen.

I am questioning the utility of Rotom as I intended it to be a spin-blocker, but of the 20 or so battles I've had so far, I've yet to see a single rapid spinner. At the moment it functions as more-or-less a less bulky physical wall.
Jirachi and Salamence offers some synergy in that Jirachi will lure out things that Salamence can switch into. But I wonder if Metagross will make a better lead over Jirachi.
I am also questioning the usefulness of Magnezone. I realize there's no Skarmory to wall Gyarados in DP as there was in Advance. For now it is only useful in killing Metagross and Brozong, neither of which are major threats to my team anyway. If Magnezone could defeat Scizor reliably then it would be a lot more of an asset, hence why I am considering an all-speed Jolly EV-spread.
