new to ubers

yeah so I'm new to the uber metagame, I haven't really put much thought into this team but here it is.

@Choice Specs
Timid
252 SpA/216 Spe/40 HP
-Aura Sphere
-Ice Beam
-Shadow Ball
-Grass Knot

I'm not too sure about this lead, but it does a nice job of beating Darkrai and Groudon leads. I'm open to suggestions if anyone has ideas for a different lead. I've found Mewtwo in most battles to be the weakest link in my team.

@Choice Scarf
Modest
52 HP/252 SpA/204 Spe
-Dark Pulse
-Thunder
-Spacial Rend
-Focus Blast

My revenge killer. It catches quite a few scarf Palkia, scarf Kyogre, Deoxys, and Mewtwo by surprise. The speed EVs allow it to outrun max speed Deoxys-S.

@Soul Dew
Timid
112 HP/204 SpA/192 Spe
-Calm Mind
-Dragon Pulse
-Thunder/Grass Knot?
-Recover

Latias provides me with a safe switch into Kyogre. Without her, I would be swept pretty badly by scarfogre. Should I go with Grass Knot>Thunder since I got Groudon on my team?

dpmfa383.png
@Life Orb
Adamant
116 HP/252 Atk/140 Spe
-Rock Polish
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Dragon Claw

It seems to me that a lot of teams are unprepared for the threat that is Rock Polish Groudon. After 1 Rock Polish it outspeeds Jolly scarfchomp, and it gets perfect coverage with the 3 attacking moves. This also serves as my Dialga and Jirachi counter (I haven't seen a single Dialga with Magnet Rise yet).

dpmfa212.png
@Choice Band
Adamant
252 HP/252 Atk/6 Spe
-Bullet Punch
-U-Turn
-Superpower
-Pursuit

A trapper/revenge killer of sorts. Bullet Punch lets it kill weakened sweepers such as Rayquaza and Darkrai, while Pursuit is great for predicted switches. You can't go wrong with U-Turn, it does a shitload to anything that doesn't resist it and gives an opportunity to switch into a counter. Superpower nails Registeel, and Dialga, it also does slightly more to Jirachi than U-Turn. Scizor isn't going to be outspeeding anything in ubers so I just dumped the remaining EVs into HP for more bulk.

Spr_4d_386A.png
@Choice Band
252 Atk/252 Spe/6 HP
Adamant
-ExtremeSpeed
-Ice Punch
-Fire Punch
-SuperPower/ThunderPunch?

Deoxys reaches a ridiculous 756 Atk with CB and noboy really expects it. Ice Punch OHKOs Latias who think they can stay in, and Fire Punch hits unsuspecting Forretress, Jirachi, and Metagross. ExtremeSpeed is useful for revenge killing faster stuff (it does around 75% to Rayquaza and Kyogre). I'm thinking I should drop Superpower for ThunderPunch, seeing how Ho-Oh weak my team is. SuperPower is only really good for maybe Dialga, but Groudon already counters it. Suggestions on superpower vs tpunch?

You have too many choice users, 4 is waaay too much...

Darkrai NP DV is imo much better, I can post the set later...

and most people run Naive nature, so it gets as much speed as possible.

On Mewtwo, I'd keep the same EV spread and whatnot, just change out Grass Knot for Recover and give it the Life Orb instead of it's Choice Specs. It gets a surefire powerboost, can hit many psychic Ubers hard, and has the ability to switch moves. Combined with the coverage of Aura Sphere and Ice Beam... hell, I'm even scared of that lead. ^^

For Darkrai, take Accipender's advice - with Dark Void and after a single Nasty Plot, Darkrai's Dark Pulse will do TONS of damage. A set I'd use (though new to Ubers myself) would be something like:

Darkrai @ Expert Belt (because Dark and Dragon/Electric hit many Ubers)
Timid nature: 252 Speed/252 Special Attack/4 HP
Dark Void
Dark Pulse
Nasty Plot
Spacial Rend/Thunderbolt. I leave it open because Spacial Rend is powerful and hits the dragon Ubers somewhat hard, but Thunderbolt is a suprise for unprepared Kyogre and Manaphy.

For your Latias, go with Grass Knot. It deals good damage to Kyogre, and helps Mewtwo and Deoxys nail any Groudon that may turn up. That, and any Pokemon using Thunder with a Groudon on their team is at a huge disadvantage.

Deoxys is a great candidate for the Choice Band, but I would stick with Thunderpunch over Superpower for the sake of not losing any Attack with Superpower's side effect.

Scizor..well, I'm not the best with trapper/revenge killer Pokemon, but it doesn't seem right to me that a Pokemon that needs access to all of it's moves (given a certain situation) would be forced to only use one because of its Choice Band. Maybe change Scizor's held item to the Life Orb or Muscle Band? With the Life Orb, I'd also suggest adding Roost somewhere (which would provide more bulk,) but you'd have to sacrifice a move, and I don't know if you'd want to do that.

Those are all just tips though. As I said, I'm still kinda new to the Uber metagame myself, but I want to help a fellow trainer when I can. Hope you found this useful! ^^

@Lum Berry/Expert Belt/Life Orb
Timid
252 SpA/252 Spd/6 Hp
-Aura Sphere
-Ice Beam
-Shadow Ball
-Grass Knot

Go for Lum/Expert Belt/Life Orb because most leads will switch around and Deoxys-A with Shadow Ball will ruin you.

dpmfa491.png
@Choice Scarf
Modest
52 HP/252 SpA/204 Spe
-Dark Pulse
-Thunder
-Spacial Rend
-Focus Blast

Looks good.
dpffa380.png
@Soul Dew
Timid
112 HP/204 SpA/192 Spe
-Calm Mind
-Dragon Pulse
-Grass Knot
-Recover

I don't run Latias too often so not sure about the Ev's, sorry.

dpmfa383.png
@Life Orb
Adamant
116 HP/252 Atk/140 Spe
-Rock Polish
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Dragon Claw

Looks fine.

dpmfa212.png
@Life Orb?
Adamant
252 HP/252 Atk/6 Spe
-Bullet Punch
-U-Turn
-Superpower
-Pursuit

I've noticed, too many Choice items, so get a bit of variety. Perplexed on what item to run with Uber Scizor.

@Life Orb
252 Spd/252 Sp.Atk/6 Atk
Naive/Hasty
-ExtremeSpeed
-Ice Beam
-Grass Knot/Thunder
-SuperPower

Comments:

This team is full of Pokemon with Sweeping Potential. However, alot of your team is fragile so try adding in a wall to help you switch around and recover off damage. Suggestions are Jirachi, Lugia, Giratina (Not Origin Form).

swap scizor for giratina i suggest

Giratina normal form@leftovers

-WoW
-CM
-SR
-shadow ball/dragon pulse

SR relps w/ ho oh and then deoxys can finish

fire punch over stone edge on groudon for more accuracy and sun boost.

I would suggest making Deoxys your lead and give it Focus Sash, Mewtwo will most likely lose to the Scarf Darkrai and Deoxys leads out there.

I don't think having a Darkrai with Thunder and a Groudon (especially without a Kyogre) is a very practical idea... You should have something that could take advantage of the sunlight, otherwise I think Groudon will just be dead weight on this team.

Giving Mewtwo Trick is an option as well. Think about how many Blisseys that'd screw up.
