New Trick Room + Sandstorm Team

Pokemon White Trick Room + Sandstorm Team

Lead: Hippowdon
Ability: Sand Stream
Nature: Impish
Ev's: 252 Hp, 152 Defense, 104 Special Defense
Item: Leftovers
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Slack Off
-Ice Fang

Hippowdon sets up a sandstorm with his ability and also lays down stealth rock. Earthquake is for a powerful STAB move to hit things hard that are affected. Ice fang for coverage against dragons and flying types. I might replace ice fang with roar though.

Baton Passer: Mr.Mime
Ability: Filter
Nature: Sassy
Ev's: 252 Hp, 252 Speed, 4 Special Defense
Item: Leftovers
-Baton Pass
-Nasty Plot
-Taunt
-Trick Room

When hippowdon dies, then I send in Mr.Mime. He taunts the opponent to avoid being taunted then he proceeds to boost special attack with nasty plot. When nasty plot is used until it is at max power, then he uses trick room and then baton passes the nasty plot boost to my special sweeper, Reuniclus.

Special Sweeper: Reuniclus
Ability: Magic Guard
Nature: Modest
Ev's: 252 Hp, 252 Special Attack, 4 Special Defense
Item: Life Orb
-Psychic
-Recover
-Focus Blast
-Trick Room

Reuniclus is a really powerful pokemon. He isn't affected by sandstorm because of magic guard so he doesn't need to hold leftovers. He then proceeds to sweep using the nasty plot and life orb boost boosted, STAB psychic. Focus blast is for coverage against pokemon resisting psychic. Recover to restore health and trick room in case Mr.Mimes trick room runs out.

Supporter/Annoyer: Dusknoir
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Relaxed
Ev's: 252 Hp, 252 Defense, 4 Special Defense
Item: Leftovers
-Will-O-Wisp
-Pain Split
-Trick Room
-Fire Punch/Ice Punch/Thunder Punch

If Reuniclus dies, then I send in Dusknoir as sort of a wall. He can will-o-wisp the opponent and re-establish trick room. Pain split is to remain in the battle for as long as possible and the last move slot is one of the listed punches, depending on which I see is better for it.

Physical Sweeper: Excadrill
Ability: Sand Rush
Nature: Adamant
Ev's: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Hp
Item: Air Balloon
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Swords Dance
-X-Scissor/Brick Break

Excadrill is my late game physical sweeper. This guy isn't part of the trick room portion of my team because I don't want my team to be completely relying on trick room. 252 Speed evs and his ability allow him to outspeed pretty much everything in a sandstorm. Earthquake is his main STAB move and rockslide for coverage. Sword dance is to boost his already huge 135 base attack stat. The last move slot is a toss up between x-scissor and brick break.

I know I only have 5 pokemon, I'm still looking for a 6th. I was thinking about adding Cacturne as a mixed sweeper. I am open to any tips or suggestions for this team and replacing some pokemon is completely possible.

To make a few notes youve got a giant hole towards other xscissor using excadrills if your cant beat them, you should really think about getting rid of dusknoir for something more like a gliscor or maybe Bisharp to try and add more members who arent hurt by sandstorm, Bisharp could add some dark and steel coverage or maybe take on heatran, a heatran with hidden power ice and fire blast could really fix some holes, and for a trick room user maybe switch mr mime with a bronzong? Have its trait be heatproof or maybe levitate instead and it would be a better fit into the trick room and sandstorm scenario here.

As for a 6th member i would think Jirachi might have a seat here, CMrachi or iron head flinch abuser with wish would be really good because wish could give some aid to the members of your team without sandstorm and would also let you survive more.

@Rofellos, I might replace Dusknoir with Bisharp but the only problem with that is that Bisharp can't set up trick room. Also, I don't like adding legendaries to my teams so no Heatran or Jirachi. I can't switch Mr.Mime with Bronzong because Bronzong can't nasty plot or baton pass, which is a decent part in my strategy.

I'm sorry, if you want more help, you should at least complete your team.

Do not post incomplete teams. If you are smart enough to pick five Pokemon, you can easily pick another one. If you are smart enough to pick nine, you can easily cut that down to six. Make sure to include natures, EV spreads and items. If you are unsure of your selections, make a note of this or simply add a question mark after them so team raters can help you focus on perceived problems first.
