New Type of team (generation 5)

Most people have seen teams with one pokemon on it that have this. I have two with it but then the other four are pretty much just to cover their weaknesses so they are pretty much covered.

First Team Dedicated Entirely To Serene Grace that i know of

At a glance:

In Depth:

Excadrill
Ability:Sandthrow
Nature:Adamant
Item:Life Orb
E.V.s:20hp, 252 att, 232 spe
MOVESET:
Earthquake
Brick Break
Rock Slide
X-Scissor

I ran brick break over swords dance because he is my lead and he needs to have more coverage. Other then that he usually just switches in on electric type attacks that are going towards Togekiss.

Togekiss
Ability:Serene Grace
Item:Leftovers
Nature:Bold
E.V.s:252 hp, 188 def, 64 sdef, 4 spe
MOVESET:
Air slash
Aura Sphere
Roost
Thunderwave

Classic Thunderwave Air slash Togekiss. This guy can be a beast. I have literally taken out all six of my opponents team with this guy. (my opponent didnt have a ground type so i thunderwaved all of them and thanks to roost they were not doing much damage either).

Jirachi
Ability:Serene Grace
Item:Leftovers
Nature:Jolly
E.Vs: 252 att, 252 spe, 4 hp
MOVESET:
Thunderwave
Thunderpunch
Ice Punch
Iron Head

I know what you must be thinking. A PHYSICAL SWEEPING JIRACHI??? but actually he is really well. With this set he has 299 att and 328 spe. Combine that with thunderwave and the STAB iron head then you are dealing a lot of damage to your opponent. Not to mention the 85 percent chance that your opponent can not do anything either from the 60 percent chance of flinching or the 25 percent chance of paralysis. He and Togekiss are the two stars in the team.

Verizion
Ability:Justice Heart
Item:Life Orb
Nature:Adamant
E.V.s: 252 att, 252 spe, 4 hp
MOVESET:
Holy sword
Leaf Blade
X-scissor
Swords dance

Classic Swords dance set. Leaf blade is for the ground types for jirachi and those pesky water types that have ice type moves for togekiss. He usually can outspeed most things with this set up he has 306 spe so it is good and covers weaknesses

Cresselia
Ability:Levitate
Nature:Calm
Item:Leftovers
E.V.s:252 hp, 108 def, 148 sdef
MOVESET:
Ice beam
Reflect
Thunderwave
Moonlight

Classic wall with thunderwave to help togekiss and jirachi out. I usually switch to this guy if i am in trouble and unless it is a fire type i can usually take them out with this guy due to having reflect out and moonlight and thunderwave. he is the guy i switch in on ground types first unless he is in trouble then i switch in verizion.

Keldeo
Ability:Justice Heart
Nature:Timid
Item:Life Orb
E.V.s: 252 spa, 252 spe, 4 hp
MOVESET:
Boil Over
Hydro Pump
Mystery Sword
Hidden Power (electric)

this guy switches in on other water types usually but can switch in on ground types as well. he is a good all around special sweeper and covers the last thing superefffective against jirachi: fire types.

This is a dream world team just stating that.

This is my unusual team please tell me what ya think. *****PLEASE NOTE***** DO NOT ACTUALLY RATE THE TEAM UNTIL YOU HAVE TESTED IT OUT YOURSELF CAUSE SOMETIMES THINGS LOOK BAD BUT ACTUALLY TURN OUT QUITE GOOD*****
No one's actually going to do this. If there's something good about a Pokemon on your team that isn't obvious, say what it is. You've barely given any explanation as to the function of the Pokemon on your team.

Do you want a rate in spite of that, or not?

Well no offense thorhammer but does it really need an explanation because it seems pretty self explanatory and sometimes teams do look bad but there is a saying "looks can be decieving" and sometimes on teams thats true which is why i want someone to actually test the team out and not rate it before actually seeing how it works. No offense but if you could not actually figure out what each pokemon is supposed to do then i am a little worried about you rating teams.

And as for the rate i do not want it from you because apparently you do not even know how to figure the roles in a team

No.

Note: I tested out this team on another server and it brought an alt name of mine from the leaderboard on their server down to a rank of < 900. This team is not good.

First off, it's "Virizion", not "Verizion". Next, the prefix Dream World has to be added to this thread because you're using Keldeo. Excadrill is practically useless without Sandstorm, so I mandate changing that. Tyranitar makes Cresselia cry at night with its STAB Crunch and sandstorm reducing Moonlight's recovery. Virizion should have Close Combat, preferably over X-Scissor. Keldeo should have Calm Mind over Boil Over / Scald.

Oh, and edit your original post so your thread doesn't get locked under Rules #3, and #18:
Rules said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

18. A new prefix has been added to both "OU teams" and "Others" subforum. The new prefix, named "Dream World" will serve the purpose to differentiate teams meant to be played into the "Dream World" tiers (for both OU and Ubers) from teams created for the "Standard" OU and Ubers metagame. For the above reasons, when you create a thread, you're required to add the "Dream World" prefix when your team is meant to be played into that metagame. This will make it easier for team raters to check for your team weaknesses and to help your team with the best possible fixes.

Yeah, really, there's not really any advice to give to this. Your comments don't tell us anything, and often don't make sense / show that you don't really know what you're talking about.

You haven't really shown us anything of what this team is dedicate to doing besides that it is a team "Dedicated to Serene Grace". I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume this team DOES have roles, but from the fact that your very first pokemon on your team is a Sand Throw Doryuuzu, and there is no Hippowdon or Tyranitar on your team, AND Doryuuzu gets Mold Breaker makes me wonder if enough time has been put into the creation of this team.

First of all, Excadrill as a lead is...meh. In general, his defenses are below average. And his speed is average. Common leads, in general, can beat Excadrill or can handle him.

And also, your team is very vulnerable to nasty plot and dragon dance sweepers. Including DD gyrados, Nasty Plot Thundurus, and most dangerous of all, swords dance Excadrill in the sand.

Note: Don't expect Exadrill to protect togekiss from electric attacks, leads tend to get KO'd very early in the battle.

I'd like to suggest Steelix or Donphan in the lead spot. They get Sturdy which works well with Custap Berry and they can set up rocks and in Donphan's case, spin and finish off other sashed leads with Ice Shard. They both are bulkier and will take electric hits.

Togekiss looks okay.

A physical sweeping Jirachi isn't so weird. However, maybe Body Slam would be better for paralysis because you have two other pokemon with Thunder Wave and you might want to paralyze ground types (before they scare you off with a STAB move).

First, Cresselia is always female. You have the wrong pronouns up there. Second, have you tried Psychic over Ice Beam? Unless Ice Beam is super effective or you're firing it on a Pikachu or something it won't hurt. Psychic might.

For Virizion, I don't think you'll be sweeping as much with an Adamant nature. Your attack will go to extreme levels after a Swords Dance, so you might as well try to outrun base 95-107 pokemon with a speed boosting nature.

For Keldeo, Scald and Hydro Pump looks pretty useless if half your team is paralyzing the opponent instead. Replace Scald (Boil Over) with Calm Mind in case you have free turns. X-Scissor will also take out Celebi, but don't rely on it if you're going to completely ditch your attack stat.
