This is a new team I'm trying to try out that's full of Pokemon I think looks kinda nice. I want to see if this team can anything good.

Linoone @ Salac Berry
Ability: Gluttony
EVs: HP 116 / Attack 252 / Speed 142
Nature: Gluttony
- Belly Drum
- Extremespeed
- Seed Bomb
- Shadow Claw

Linoone uses Belly Drum to max out his Attack and at the same time activates Salac Berry for him to take down everything he can. Seed Bomb is for the Rocks and Shadow Claw is for the Ghosts.

dewgong.png

Dewgong @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: HP 252 / Attack 252 / Defense 6
Nature: Adamant
- Waterfall
- Avalanche
- Rain Dance
- Rest

I wanted to make Dewgong a physical attacker so he gets Waterfall and Avalanche. I chose Waterfall over Aqua Tail because Waterfall looks much better on PBR and it's not much weaker. Rain Dance is to make him Rest without falling asleep.

leafeon.png

Leafeon @ Life Orb
Ability: Leaf Guard
EVs: Attack 252 / Defense 6 / Speed 252
Nature: Jolly
- Leaf Blade
- X-Scissor
- Frustration
- Swords Dance

I'm not a big Leafeon fan. Sceptile was supposed to be here but I felt that Leafeon fits this team more. Swords Dance boosts its attack while it uses the other attacks to sweep whatever it can. I chose Frustration over Return because it's tougher to get maxed Frustration and you never see people use it.

girafarig.png

Girafarig @ Focus Sash
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: HP 252 / Defense 6 / Speed 252
Nature: Timid
- Agility
- Calm Mind
- Baton Pass
- Psychic

Girafarig is here to boost up Ampharos. Agility will really help with Ampharos's terrible speed, Calm Mind to make it crazy strong, and Focus Sash is there so if it's used I'll know to Baton Pass immediately before it faints.

ampharos.png

Ampharos @ Leftovers
Ability: Static
EVs: HP 208 / Spc Attack 252 / Speed 50
Nature: Modest
- Substitute
- Magnet Rise
- Discharge
- HP Grass

By now, Ampharos should have a crazy high Special Attack and Defense AND its speed should be good enough to get a substitute up. Magnet Rise to eliminate its Ground weakness. If I don't have time for Magnet Rise, HP Grass can take out the Grounds. Discharge is there over Thunderbolt for the 30% Paralysis rate.

arcanine.png

Arcanine @ Choice Specs
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: HP 6 / Spc Attack 252 / Speed 252
Nature: Modest
- Dragon Pulse
- Flamethrower
- HP Grass
- Overheat

Normally, I'd use Arcanine as a physical sweeper but I feel like he'll do better as a special sweeper on this team. Dragon Pulse is to take out the dragons that happen to come, especially if I want to go against some OU teams. Flamethrower is for a long term use while Overheat is for a quick kill. HP Grass to fight Arcanine's weaknesses.

Welcome to Smogon. Your descriptions are not up to the standards required in this forum. Please take a look at the RMT archive (which is at the top of the page) to see what kind of descriptions we're looking for. This thread is being locked under rule 3:

RMT rules said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

If you fix your descriptions, send them to me via PM and I'll unlock your thread.
