Welcome to the NFE No Johns Last Chance Qualifier! This will be a Type B, single elimination tournament in the NFE format, as part NFE Circuit. This tournament will earn you points for both the year-long circuit, as well as the NFE Circuit! This will be a single elimination best of three tournament held in the NFE format on Pokemon Showdown. All replays must be posted to the round's thread for a win to count, and each round will take four days.

Standard Rules and Clauses
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here
  • Species Clause: A player cannot have two Pokémon with the same Pokédex number on his team.
  • Evasion Clause: The moves Double Team and Minimize are banned.
  • OHKO Clause: The moves Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, and Fissure are banned.
  • Team Preview: Players must turn on the Team Preview feature where players can view the opposing team's Pokémon and choose their lead Pokémon.
  • Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
  • Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any Pokémon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play. Check this thread for more information.

Nakoruru_XD  vs  Celeste Despite Nakoruru going positive in UMPL i didn't really find them that impressive ngl, meanwhile Celeste is a great player i feel like she's favored despite being the underdog on paper
Dead by Daylight  vs  IH8B9LM - DbD is a great player and idk who their opp is
Horii  vs  Dwagon - Horii is one of the biggest name in the tour so i can't see him losing this early regardless of the opponent
Theycallmephil  vs  That_One_Mango - idk who mango is and i've seen phil's name in some tours recently
eberto  vs  Shadow079 Shadow is a great player and invested in NFE and idk who their opp is
Tricknology  vs  5Dots 5Dots is a pretty big name in NFE so naturally i bold him here

lettuce  vs  Sificon honestly tough i feel like they're on the same level, lettuce is probably favored but my gut tells me Sificon wins

doom  vs  Zcarlett Good pairing, both good players, Zcarlett is better in-game imo but doom won't be a free win

LongRat  vs  LB Another tough one, recently i feel like LongRat has more experience with NFE with UM Swiss and stuff but LB played a bit of NFE in the past as well so kinda whatever, both are good could go either way tbh
Swas  vs  sleid sleid is one of the big names in the tour, tough pairing for Swas who could do well in this tier but sleid round2 is too hard to beat
vinicria  vs  Mentality idk who vinicria is and i think i've seen mentality in some UM tours
