Spreadsheet | Commencement | Replays | Schedule​

  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for hosts to make decisions for activity calls when we can see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to the hosts or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

7 rights, 3 wrongs, and 2 invalidated due to sub. My prediction goes with a strong start, that's for sure.

Dancing Monferno (2) vs Martini Machoke (4)
SV NFE: AM vs Stareal - Better fundies, may stay awoken more in AM times than AM himself.
SV NFE: Dunoks vs 5Dots - I smell an upset if Dunoks gets a reasonable MU and doesn't get vibe checked by the MU.
SV NFE: Dragonillis vs MH - Stop burning the food a bit too hard MH(Sub Grotle bruh) and you'll be sweeping Dragonillis tbh.
SS NFE: Maybca☆〜ゝ。∂ vs The Strap - Fire MU, and while it feels like The Strap is favored to win here, I think Maybca with some good prep will be able to make an upset(Skysolo is the strongest player beside me IMO).
SM NFE: DB vs Gorex - Inb4 Gorex getting subbed, but Gorex has a better chance to win here than DB. Could be a rlly close game though.
ND NFE: Sealoo vs Leni - Sealoo may be the favor to win here, but Tlenit may win by better decision-making in the long term and eventually dwindle Sealoo's structures.

Lively Linoone (2) vs Qwilly Qwonkas (4)
SV NFE: Mirbro vs LustfulLice - Mirbro can clean through LustfulLice if he nails down the matchup and the team, otherwise I think LustfulLice is taking this one because they seem to have more fundies. I Hope Mirbro proves me wrong though.
SV NFE: Lyna vs Thiago Nunes - Thiago Nunes is the better player, and Lyna has yet to prove me to be able to win over strong players.
SV NFE: Demirab1 vs Sleid - Demirab isn't going to get the right predictions of Sleid's teams, therefore Sleid is more likely to win this one here lol.
SS NFE: Fraise vs PandaDoux - The SS French kiddos playing at the big stages, lovely <3. I remember when Antares was the best french NFE player(IMO bc bro's undefeated in french ompl's no cap no cap) and Dragonillis was one of the other french players. Things change a lot I'll say that. With that said, I think Panda has more solidified structures on their teams so they may win over that alone. However Fraises has always been able to challenge someone in the matchup aspect, so I can see Fraises potentially pull out a Ojr type of strat vs them. But both of them has more of a preference to stay a bit too typical with their teams so perhaps not? Either way Panda is getting this, but it's not a complete sweep.
SM NFE: WMAR vs Miyami~~~ - WMAR will troll Miyami(it will be a very close game regardless though!!)
ND NFE: Cao Jie vs Seth - ND NFE Cao Jie is a cooler sounding name than Seth, so predicting them to win here at least.

First time doing predicts guys. Nothing on this is personal or serious at all so pls dont hate me if i bold against u C:

SV NFE: AM vs Stareal - I would bold Stareal against anyone in this tour i think. Really good player. I still have nightmares after losing like 5 or 6 games in a row in nfe ssnl finals a few years back. AM is also solid so this will be a good game.
SV NFE: dunoks vs 5Dots - Good player vs TL. This will be real close and I can see this go either way, but i think 5dots will bring some suprising stuff that dunoks doesnt know what does and get the slight advantage.
SV NFE: Dragonillis vs mh - Another close one so I just started typing something before deciding what to bold. They both have nfe experience and are solid overall. I think it comes down to who wants to win the most so going with Drago here because i think Monfernos gotta try real hard to beat the Machokes.
SS NFE: Maybca☆〜ゝ。∂ vs The Strap - Hypest mu of the week maybca? Puns aside I cant bold against The Strap. Top tier player and Ive been playing tests against maybca and seen them play and they have gotten real good so this will be a good match for sure.
SM NFE: db vs gorex - Hexaspecs if real db;). Jokes aside I think gorex will win this. I dont know db that well, but i know that gorex has more experience in this tier(1 game more kek) and will probably end up with a team thats not hexaband so i think gorex will win.
ND NFE: sealoo vs Leni - Another hype matchup. I dont know much about nd at all, but I know that sealeoo is a main and pilots well. On the other hand Leni is really good at adapting to litteraly any metagame and he has nfe experience so he knows the mechanics well. Just like Stareal and Strap i dont see myself bolding against Leni in this tour.

SV NFE: Mirbro vs LustfulLice - Mirbrother. Great player and probably nicest dude on smogon. LusfulLice has evolved alot as a player the past couple years tho so this will be a great game. Hype!
SV NFE: Lyna vs Thiago Nunes - I dont know Lyna that well, but i know that Thiago has played nfe before and knows mechanics and pilots well.
SV NFE: demirab1 vs sleid - Another mu where i actually dont really know the players that well. This is because i havent been around the last years probably. I have seen demi in the nfe discord however so i think demi is more invested. Going with my guts only here. I have seen sleid is in a few pls and such so probably great player.
SS NFE: Fraise vs PandaDoux - French vs French. I have to go with Panda here since i know them alot better than Fraise as a player. Very cool matchup. Excited to see this.
SM NFE: WMAR vs Miyami~~~ - Another cool matchup. WMAR suprised everyone last pl and went complete bonkers with really cool teams. However I think Miyami has really solid teams and is more consistent as a player. Will be a fun one.
ND NFE: Cao Jie vs seth - Another matchup im going with my guts. I see seth in finals in a nd tour so im going with seth.

Before the match, it has been agreed by both of you to play a BO3, as evidenced in the attached conversation screenshots and more proof i'll attach later on. After annoyingly asking him to rfn while he couldn't play as you both agreed for a time, you kept our player waiting for you while you were playing Valorant, and before the first game you even questioned about the bo3 happening when it was a decision you consented to. Unfortunately, during the second game Strap used an illegal mon and this was only due to the battle codes not being updated by the tournament hosts and no updates or notifications were provided regarding these changes ON ANY CHANNEL!. Despite these circumstances you made him forfeit and without consulting with anybody regarding the validity of your win you still claimed it here, which may not actually reflect the spirit of fairness you all seem to uphold. So as a consequence of what has happened i request the host to either kill this game as its fairness was severly compromised by what has transpired in here and preventing any kind of availability issue that may arise after the decision or redo the game based on the tournament guidelines this time.

No the reality is clearly different from the one you potrayed as i can provide further proof of that, we lost G1 while also getting pressured by your player to play as they were also being unclear whatever playing bo3 or bo1, then on G2 we used an outdated code which has been sent by the hosts and nobody provided a clear update for that, then you made our player forfeit the game and acted as if you already won by posting the "win" without further consulting anybody and on top of that celebrating for that. This behavior is unfair and disrespectful and the fact that some members of your team clown reacted me simply for expressing and shedding light on the truth is a pretty clear indication of the lack of sportsmanship expected in such tournaments. I'll also address this problem to the hosts on top of this terrible situation.

I am the unbiased 3rd party here and I believe you've lost that game fair and square. Sure Maybca wasn't very ethical but you still lost. Maybe become NFE pilled like everyone else so you don't make silly mistakes.
