OU Hyper Offense
Yes. I need help with my hyper offense team, it works fine and is a fun alternative to balanced / stall, but I feel it can do much better. Just some small comments would be nice. No nubs pls.
Azelf @ Focus sash
Nature : Jolly
4HP/252ATK/252SPE
Moves
Taunt
Explosion
Zen head-butt
Stealth rock
I haven't really played much online pokemon since the DPP generation. Back in Gen. 4, Azelf was the one of the greatest offensive leads. Its primary goal is to set up stealth rock and explode, if it survives past turn 4, something went wrong.
Wobbuffet @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EVs: 28HP / 224 DEF /252 SPD
Moves
Counter
Mirror coat
Encore
Safeguard
This is what makes the team tick, the glue, per se. The rest of the team requires at least one turn of set-up and wobbuffet is one of the few pokemons that can guarantee that. Counter and mirror coat are also great tools against scarfed/banded pokemons, removing potential threats that could hinder a sweep.
Salamence @ Life orb
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4HP/252 ATK / 252 SPE
Moves
Dragon dance
Earthquake
Outrage
Fire blast
Each sweeper is usually faced with a wall or two, that can stop a sweep in its tracks, for example mamoswine vs salamence. However, using multiple trappers, its possible to eliminate those 'walls' and pull-off a sweep. Each of these sweepers all potentially only need one turn of set-up to guarantee a team sweep. Salamence is the first sweeper, usually wobbuffet encores an earthquake/ support move, salamence switches in, sets-up and wreaks havoc.
Lucario @ Normal gem
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4HP /252 ATK/ 252 SPE
Moves
Swords dance
Close combat
Ice Punch
Extremespeed
Lucario is the second sweeper, wobbuffet picks up the swords dance off a stray encore, the fast sweepers are taken down by a +2 extremespeed, even skarmory is taken down by a +2 swords dance after stealth rock.
Magnezone @ Choice scarf
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4HP /252 SPA /252 SPE
Moves
Thunderbolt
Volt switch
Flash cannon
Hidden power fire
This isn't really a sweeper, but it helps pick off the steels that can hinder salamence's outrage sweep, although i must add it is the least productive pokemon in the team.
Volcarona @ Life orb
Nature: Modest
EVs: 4HP/ 252 SPA / 252 SPE
Moves
Quiver dance
Fiery dance
Bug buzz
Hidden power ground
The final sweeper, once again this guy switches in, usually from an encore, and then proceeds to set-up and sweep. Generally with the pace this team is running at, the possibility of stealth rock entering the field is rare, so no need for a rapid spinner.
Finished. Like it or hate it, just comment on it. Once again, no nub comments. I don't want to waste time on sprites, I just need feedback (criticism is fine).
