No one wins clean anymore...Trick Room RMT

Alright, Sylver reporting, again... if you saw my previous teams, they were pretty fun, especially the numerous SRW references and a disturbing rise in the usage of exploding puffballs...

Back to the point. Here, I'll try to incorporate the usual Sylver gimmicks with a bit more stability. My last two teams (a Bellyzard team and a BP team, both Memento-based) were pretty successful, but very one-dimensional, and one-trick ponies. Here, I'll try to extend on that...
Note: This is my first Trick Room team, so constructive crits are appreciated.

Slowbro (F) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 212 HP/252 Def/44 SAtk
IVs: 3 Spd, 30 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Slack Off
- Trick Room
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Electric]

The Trick Room Starter. I toyed with Bronzong, but this is not Taunt-bait, especially for Gyarados.

Breloom (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 236 HP/252 Atk/20 Def
IVs: 0 Spd
Brave nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Substitute
- Spore
- Leech Seed
- Focus Punch
---

Annoyer and Physical Attacker. Considering a Marowak or Azumarrill for a more direct offence, since Breloom's technically my best physical threat...

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 SAtk
IVs: 30 Atk, 30 Def, 3 Spd
Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Thunderbolt
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Hidden Power [Ice]
---

Special Attacker, Physical Tank. Good against the Skarms that wall Snorlax and Breloom.

dpffa227.png

Skarmory (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Ivs: 0 Spd
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Whirlwind
- Stealth Rock
- Roost
- Drill Peck
---

Typical. "Nuff said.

dpffa477.png

Dusknoir (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/76 Def/180 SDef
IVs: 0 Spd
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Will-o-wisp/Pain Split (HELP)
- Memento
- Taunt
---

Mofro's Pesknoir, Sylver edition. No Sylver team is complete without a suicider. This is special oriented for walling, and great for the last setup, as well as funcitioning outside that role.

dpffa143.png

Snorlax (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 168 HP/120 Def/220 SDef
IVs: 0 Spd
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Curse
- Fire Punch
- Rest
- Body Slam
---

This is the final, like the previous Charizard or Gardevoir in my last teams. Sure, Curselax is dead. Sure, even with Trick Room, Curselax is dead. Sure, even with Trick Room, Memento, and last spot reservation...is Curselax really dead? From one of the battlers who tried to prove that Bellyzard is not dead yet, this is the best Snorlax I can think of. Before endgame, Snorlax can act as the primary Sp. Wall, making him more versatile.

So, I don't have time to pull a threat list, but it looks Weavile and Hera-weak right from the draw (although counters them alright later in the game). Please help me. Thanks.

Alright, a TR team needs to be able to function both in TR and out of it. This team is just so slow, I don't see how you're going to get out of a sticky situation when TR isn't up? What if Slowbro and Dusknoir get taken out early game? They do both share a weakness to Dark and Ghost. The entire team benefits from TR, but all of them are hurt when it is not up. Also, your team doesn't seem to have the slow, powerhouse pokes like Rhyperior or Machamp that rip through stuff when TR is up. I think you need to swap out the set up sweepers for the type of pokes that cause instant damage in TR, cause it doesn't last forever ya'know? And then one or two quick pokes that are used for when TR is down. Just my opinion though

How exactly does Momento help Snorlax? I understand that it would help Snorlax, but they can just switch out, and now you are down one poke.

Snorlax would really like some burn support, but Dusknoir needs Pain Split to efficiently do its job. IMO, Pain Split>Memento and Will-o-Wisp in last slot.

They switch out their attacker which gives YOU a chance to curse... how do you not see that?

Kira's right. It's not clean, but I'd like to keep Dusknoir and Snorlax as they are, since they are my identity pokes, and I've gone from 1-5/6 to eking a 1-0 victory many, many times. Dusknoir and Snorlax also play roles beyond that desperado finish, which is an improvement from my previous teams with Jumpluff and Charizard. The extra Curses that Dusknoir (and TR) afford allows Snorlax to survive Heracross' Close Combat with 2 Curses protecting him; ditto to all other fighters, except SpecsLuke, which Snorlax tries to use its SpDef, or No Guard Machamp, which is a threat, especially if I take Slowbro out

I've been trying Jirachi and Bronzong as TR starters. So far, I'm thinking of making these switches (thanks for the criticisms):

Jirachi: Trick Room, Wish, Thunder, Ice Punch/U-Turn instead of Slowbro: Wish support is definitely good, especially without Pain Split on Dusknoir.
Azumarill: Aqua Jet, Waterfall, Focus Punch, Double-Edge or
Marowak: Earthquake, Fire Punch, Double-Edge, Rock Slide instead of Breloom
Mixcario or Mixape, or maybe Gengar instead of Magnezone (which typing, which moveset would be more beneficial?)

But yeah, Dusknoir and Snorlax stay, since they alone can defeat full teams. Thanks for the replies.

Well if we keep the last 2 Pokes for sure (Dusnoir and Snorlax), we're definitely going to have to change up others. I personally think the whole "Gyarados will Taunt me as a starter" thing is greatly overrated. 1, no one uses Gyarados anymore in fear of Mence and Gengar, and 2, you shouldn't be keeping a Bronzong into Gyarados to get Taunted.

I'd replace the Skarmory for Bronzong honestly. I also don't think Magnezone should be here, as most of your sweeps are last poke Lax, then Skarmory poses no issues at all. FYI, Skarmory HATES to switch into Breloom. It has to end up eating a Focus Punch, can never Roost against it in fear of Focus Punch, or into a Leech Seed, which you can proceed to fuck with it and get a free FP or Substall it.

So if we do it with Snorlax, Dusknoir, Bronzong, I'd like to add an immediate sweeper as Trick Room is in play and around. Marowak or Rhyperior come to mind, as after an SD, they can sweep many shit.

Along with that, you seem to forgotten Cresselia, who could be easily helpful for this team, whether providing paralysis (Thunder Wave), Trick Rooming (Trick Room), setting up screens (Reflect), or even do a little Lunar Dance to help something sweep up again.
