I sometimes wonder how it is that the overwhelming majority of the overwhelming majority of rock music centers around guitar and bass guitar, and a lot of players sound really similar. A lot of people just use the established norms for the instruments and don't really push guitars to the limits of what they can do. I love Tom Morello because he explores whatever noises he can generate from his guitar.
BONUS NP Audioslave - Light My Way
Yeah I actually had to check the booklet to see if it said "all sounds made from guitar, bass, drums, and vocals" (it did) because I thought I heard a synth in there. Turns out it was just Morello's guitar making cool noises.

Firstly, the band is pretty good. But what the fuck the name is horrible.
Anyways, this is a really cool song. The first 3 seconds are FUCKING AMAZING. It just draws you in... It's so good, too bad it's only 3 seconds long lol, but the rest of the song is still good.
