Hello you all. I'm malinowski, I lurk over UU forum and PS! for over a year or so, and I'm going to present you what I think it is my most solid team in this post-Mega Pidgeot meta :] I've already done some RMTs but frankly they were all kind of bad :P so I ask to consider this the first real one n_n
I've been working on it since i signed for UU Open, and it actually won me r1. It is a team that does fairly well over ladder and have won me some room tours. I've already shared this team with a couple of guys who I think can atest how effective Mega Beedrill is in this tier :]

teambuilding process

So I started with a core of Mega Beedrill + Mowtow because I'm kind relaxed and I make some real bad plays trying to outpredict stuff and keep momentum, so I enjoy how easy it is to play a Volt Turn core since I can make bad plays and still be in the game :P Mega Beedrill has the most powerful U-turn in the game while Rotom-Mow is threating every water, ground and flying type with its STAB combination.

Since I was stacking a Fire weakness here, I added Special Salamence, which works as a wallbreaker, fire-resist and hazard control for Mega Beedrill.

Mega Aerodactyl was a massive threat for my team, so I added Doublade which can effectively check M-Aero and half of the tier lol while working as my first win condition.

Doublade has insane synergy with almost every Dark type in the tier, and with Salamence covering its fire weakness, I thought about Krookodile as the 5th member of the squad, which could add me an electric immunity, intimidate spam, rocks, knock off utility and a pursuit user.

My team was pretty solid offensively, but it didn't have any special sponge for powerful wallbreakers like Hydreigon, Salamence and stuff, which runs over this tier. One could think of Omfuga's P2, but I'm not really into one more eviolite user, so I added Snorlax, which can work early game as a sponge and late game as my secondary win condition, without worrying about Knock Off that much or losing too much offensive presence.

in-depht

Queen B (Beedrill-Mega) (F) @ Beedrillite
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Poison Jab
- U-turn
- Drill Run
- Protect
The Queen of this show, Mega Beedrill is a massive threat, reaching a 438 Atk stat with an Adamant Nature, backed up with an Adaptability boost, and still being able to outspeed almost the entire non-scarfed tier. Threating every Psychic, Dark and Grass type in the tier, U-turn takes chunks even from checks like Forretress, Mega Aggron and Crobat, while Poison Jab threat every fairy. Adamant Drill Run have a solid 2HKO on Cobalion, which have been helpful against Shuca Berry switch ins :P Mega Beedrill is the ideal momentum grabber, and as such I chose to build around her.

Motor-Heat (Rotom-Mow) @ Life Orb/Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leaf Storm
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Pain Split/Trick
Mowtow is a great guy and has been my favorite grass type in UU for sometime. Grass/Electric is a great type offensively, since no ground type wanna switch into a Leaf Storm, which usually makes my opponent sack something or trying to predict me - either way, Mowtow is going to open holes, and momentum will continue to be on my side. At first I builded around Choice Specs, since it hits hard as fuck and in theory could effectively deal with the likes of Suicune. But a few problems started to appear: since Rotom-C didn't have any kind of recovery, it could be easily weakened until its dead, specially with rocks in the field and scald 100% chance to burn. It was my most solid bulky water answer, so I couldn't keep losing it to random burns. I was also tired of being outplayed between ground and Crobat switch ins, so after seeing DaSpoofy suggestion of Life Orb Rotom-Heat over UU forum, I decided to give LO Mowtow a try, and this set has been working great! Pain Split helps against walls like Umbreon and Blissey, since Rotom-C have a low HP stat. It also gives it a more longetivity against Suicune. With LO, I can volt switch on ground types without fear as I can bluff a choice item, specially if my opp doesn't see any passive recovery. The real MVP most of the time :P

Sally (Salamence) (F) @ Leftovers/Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Roost
- Fire Blast
- Defog
Pretty straightforward Special Defog Mence. At first I was using an LO set, but I don't like defoggers that lack some passive recovery, since taking 25% everytime you are switch in really sucks, specially if you are going to take a hit coming in. Defog was highly needed because it really cuts Mega Beedrill effectiveness, which is forcing switchs. Leftovers helps Sally with this a lot, as those 6% makes difference. Even without an Orb, Draco Meteor/Fire Blast hits hard enough for some wallbreaking.

Aegis'lash (Doublade) @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit/Shadow Claw/Sacred Sword
- Shadow Sneak
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance
Doublade acts as a physical tank, essentially checking Mega Aerodactyl and Crobat, two huge problems for this team otherwise. I opted for Iron Head over Gyro Ball for consistent damage. Gyro Ball needs 0 Spe IVs to work, but the 35 base speed helps outspeed some slower mons like Reuniclus and Slowking, specially if I'm running Shadow Claw on it. Shadow Sneak is priority STAB that helps against Chandelure, Hoopa and Azelf. Mega Aerodactyl, Crobat and opposing Mega Beedrill really holds this team effectiveness, so recently I'm trying Pursuit Doublade and it have been working great, doing about 60% to Mega Bee and 35% to both bat and aero. If rocks are up, my opp gets really pressured if he needs to bring those back to field. Swords Dance lets Doublade works as my win condition late game, specially with volt turn weakening my opponent early-mid game.

Krook O'Dyle (Krookodile) @ Earth Plate/Dread Plate
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Taunt/Pursuit
Taunt Rocks Krook is my favorite Krookodile and it really helps this team against some matchups. That unexpected taunt that stops a wall from recovering, a hazard setter from setting, a setup sweeper from setup, a toxic or a defog from happening - I really enjoy that moment. Krookodile setup rocks on his many forced switch ins, it takes opposing items off and since I'm running Pursuit on Doublade, I decided to switch Dread Plate for Earth Plate, which gives me a nice boost for Earthquake, making it an excelent STAB move that won't have any power drop against itemless mons. Krookodile also makes an excelent intimidate core with Salamence, and gives me a much needed volt switch immunity.

Snorhax (Snorlax) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 144 HP / 188 Def / 176 SpD
Careful Nature
- Curse
- Body Slam
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Snorlax is my special sponge, eating any unboosted special hit in the tier. With Thick Fat, Lax becomes a normal type with two key resistances for this team. It takes pressure from Salamence as an Entei switchin, and cover most of this team Ice weakness, which was something I desperately needed.
Body Slam' paralyze helps this entire team, since I lack any form of speed control. Even with Hoopa and Doublade around, mono attacking CurseLax is still Snorlax best set, and it works as my most solid win condition, being able to setup many times over a match.

threats:
Mamoswine: While it can't switch in any of my mons, I don't have any switch ins for this mammoth. I can handle it in most 1v1 scenarios, but I will end up seriously injuried, unless my opp plays bad and I manage to outpredict them.
Water-type Setup Sweepers: Setup Sweepers like DD Feraligatr and RD Mega Swampert are a really pain to deal with if they manage to setup, as I have no answers or phazers for it. If it happens to give them free turns, I'll have to sack something, usually Salamence and Krookodile, trying to spam some intimidates to hold their effectiveness.
Whimiscott: Encore + stuff like Stun Spore, U-turn, somekind of coverage in offensive builds, all gives my team trouble.
Fast powerful mons with/and priority: most mons sitting in base speed 108+ gives me some kind of trouble. Mega Houndoom will most likely get a kill everytime it comes in for example. Mega Absol also gives me trouble with SD + Sucker Punch + coverage being pretty deadly against my team.
Competitive and Defiant: lol srsly this ability just fuck me up, being it Milotic or Tornadus, I always get in trouble.
Others top tier threats like Suicune and Mega Aerodactyl are really painful to face, especially if my few checks are gone. While Roar Suicune isn't that difficult to deal since Lax wins in a last mon scenario, CM Cune can be a real problem if it manages to get to +2, since I have no way to phaze it.
