Alright, after a ton of discussion in call, and a handful of test battles, Shuckle and Emboar will be banned before Round 1. These Pokemon are either in a league above everything else in the tier, or are far too restricting in terms of centralization; therefore they shape the metagame in an unhealthy and undesired way, and will be banned before the tournament begins.

Sorry for anyone who was already teambuilding with these Pokemon, hopefully it's still early enough not to inconvenience you.

i resonate with user: Raseri; everything, both in forme and function, are crude an ill-adjusted towards the values and traditions we as a people should hold to in this day and age, and have led me to be triggered in many an angry tumblr post
