Hosted a really fun one
Theme: Each team gets 2100 base stats to spend on there team. For example samurott has a base stat of 528 so adding that would be 528/2100 available base stats. Each team also had a spy that got banned halfway through and put into the other room, however these spies didn't know they were spies until I banned them :]

Just hosted a really fun teambat! The theme was each team was only allowed to use Pokémon with BST of 520 or higher. This led to a lot of defensive threats being missing and a more offensive sort of game in general, while most mons in general were pretty bulky to compensate. Here are the tryhard teams!

Pretty interesting match overall, lots of unusual sets! Team 2's Archeops maintained constant offensive pressure, being by far the fastest usable mon and one of the strongest, but Team 1 was eventually able to take the victory thanks to Specs Klinklang luring in the opposing team's Torterra and hitting it hard with Flash Cannon. Congrats to Watchog,Pilobacon Tachyons, and andersonba1210!

Shaneghoul also won somehow due to some team-switching shenanigans, winning the first and second rounds. Highlights were Heatproof Bronzor actually being Heatproof, Substitute + Hone Claws + Roost + Iron Tail Noivern almost threatening a sweep, and bat bat bat bat (bat bat!). Please don't let me ever do this again.

Theme: One team must build with only Pokemon base 85 or above, while the other with only 85 and below (so stuff like Pinsir was allowed for both teams). The first Pokemon for both teams is decided by !randpoke nu.

Question: I really want to be in a teambat, but I never see hosting posts in this thread, so how can I get in one?
In the past teambats used to be planned, but now they're more of a spur of the moment thing where one of our auth members will start one whenever they feel like it, so just be on the lookout and hang in the PS NU room.
