NU Trick Room RMT! Please!

Well I have decided to make a new team to mess around with and wanted to try and use something different. So ive decided to make a NU Trick Room team because never used either of those before. Ive also tried to use as many of the pokemon I like as possible lol.

So here is the team.

Gelus the Banette @ Focus Sash - Insomnia - Brave
IVs = 0 HP/0 Def/0 SpDef/0 Speed
EVs = 252 Atk
~ Trick Room
~ Destiny Bond
~ Taunt
~ Shadow Claw

Gelus is a lesser known shinigami from Death Note. He is a small, doll-like Shinigami who appears to be patched together out of mismatched fabric.
Here is Banette the suicide TR lead of the team. With focus sash it will almost always get TR up. Then Destiny Bond to take something with it if they are stupid enough to attack. Taunt is to try and stop other things setting up on me. Shadow Claw if for damage output in the rare times it might actually survive.

Kraken the Octillery @ Expert Belt - Sniper - Quiet
IVs = 0 Speed
EVs = 252 HP - 252 SpA - 4 SpDef
~ Water Spout
~ Surf
~ Energy Ball
~ Ice Beam

Kraken the Giant Mythical Sea Creature or the plural of octopus in german.
Here is Octillery. I have always wanted to use this in a team and I think here is my chance lol. With its low speed and cool ability and can be a useful member of this team.
Water Spout would be the main form of offence with surf for back up when low on health. Energy Ball and Ice Beam allow for type coverage as well.
Ive gone with Expert belt because it allows for extra damage with out losing health or being locked into one attack.

Gaurdia the Marowak @ Thick Club - Rock Head - Adamant
IVs = 0 Speed
EVs = 252 HP - 252 Atk - 4 SpDef
~ EarthQuake
~ Stone Edge
~ Fire Punch
~ Double Edge

Gaurdia the original english name before it was called Marowak. Also means Gaurdian in Spanish.
This is awesome. My Favourite ground type. With Bone Club and 31 IVs in Attack with Adamant it can reach 568 Attack with the ability to switch attacks. With a STAB Earthquake this will hurt anything that isnt flying or levitating hard. Double Edge with out recoil is COOL!! With TR up this will attack first most of the time so it becomes a force that is hard to stop

PORY2.EXE the Porygon2 @ LeftOvers - Trace - Quiet
IVs = 0 Speed
EVs = 252 HP - 120 Def - 136 SpA
~ Trick Room
~ ThunderBolt
~ Ice Beam
~ Recover

PORY2.EXE was unable to load. Retry?
Ok so here is the second TR user of this team with added bonus of bulk.
With the BoltBeam combo this can hit most pokemon for neutral damage atleast. Recover if for the needed health boost.
Ive gone with trace because it will allow for free switch ins on anything that carries Volt Absorb or Flash Fire etc. However I was wondering should I go for download for the chance of a free SpA boost?

Luna the Jynx @ LeftOvers - Forewarn - Timid
EVs = 8 HP - 248 SpA - 252 Spe
~ Ice Beam
~ Nasty Plot
~ Lovely Kiss
~ Substitute

Dunno why I called this Luna, lol
This is my Back up so that if i cant get trick room up i dont just get whitewashed. After a Lovely Kiss substitute should be up which allows for atleast one Nasty Plot. So +2 STABed Ice Beams will hurt what ever stays in.
Plus Jynx is awesome.

Atlas the Regigigas @ LeftOvers - Slow Start - Relaxed
IVs = 0 Speed
EVs = 252 HP / 76 Def / 180 SpDef
~ Knock Off
~ Toxic
~ Return
~ Earthquake

Atlas the Titan from Greek Mythology who was punished by Zeus to carry up Uranus (the sky) on his shoulders.
I have always wanted to use this excuse of a legendary in a team and with its ability halving its speed (and attack) I think it should be able to be a useful wall in this team. Knock Off is to get rid of any items that are becoming a real pain. Toxic is there for anything that trys to switch into this. Return is a nice STAB and Earthquake always is and will be a great move.

So you have seen the team and what are your thoughts?
I personally like to look of it but you guys are the experts.
Thank You for any help given.

I think it would be better for all of these Pokemon bar Jynx to have speed-reducing natures to make them "faster" in trick room.

Actually I have a question. Has Jynx been doing much for you? If not you could replace it with Exeggutor who's crappy speed and impressive Special Attack will allow him to sweep pretty easily. He also has Synthesis to heal off residual damage and Trick Room to set up...well Trick Room.

I also have a TR team, and have a lead that looks like it could possibly function better than your Banette. It's only slightly different than the analysis page, but it works wonders.

Solrock @ Lum Berry
Nature: Brave
IV's: 0 Spe
EV's: 252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 4 Def
Stealth Rock
Trick Room
Reflect/Light Screen
Explosion

It does the same job as Banette, but has a lot of options depending on what kind of lead you're up against. If the opposing lead isn't an immediate threat, you can be free to set up Rocks, put up a Screen of your choice beforing pulling the trigger on Trick Room. The real benefit of using Solrock though, is Explosion. With Explosion, not only can you deal a healthy slice of damage, but it allows your sweeper to get in for free more reliably than Destiny Bond. The only thing it lacks is Taunt, and it loses to Taunt leads, but so does Banette.

I'd recommend switching to Download on Porygon2, as the only benefit of Trace I can think of in NU is outspeeding weather teams, but you obviously will be doing that with Trick Room anyway.

I agree... A brave nature instead of your adamant nature would benefit you more.

Also, I know you like expert belt but you should use life orb. If you really like expert belt, change your moveset into something like this:

Octillery @ Expert Belt
Nature: Brave
0 Spe IV
252 HP/ 252 SpA/ 4 Spd
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Energy Ball
-Thunderbolt

You might want to fit Fire Blast in there somewhere...

So,

You don't wanna go for the nature suggested by saur123 as Brave boosts attack.. and Octillery is a special attacker. Keep your current nature. I suggest keeping your current spread and set as if you switch to LO, Water Spout's output decreases with each hit, and if you were to take it out completely you'd end up less power as Water Spout is one of Octillery's selling points. Water, Ice, and Grass give really good neutral coverage so fitting in Fire Blast isn't really necessary unless you want to hit Articuno for SE damage. Oh also, Octillery doesn't even learn Thunderbolt.

I hope my advice helped you, but feel free to disregard if it fits your team better and good luck.

lol hes completely right!! i wasnt thinking clearly, i guess..:naughty: this would be better.

Octillery @ Expert Belt
O Speed IVs
252 SpA / 252 HP / 4 SpD or something...
Quiet Nature (+SpA, -Spe)
Ability:Suction Cups

Surf
Ice Beam
Energy Ball
Fire Blast

so yeah, hit everybody with super effective damage with more power because expert belt

I'd try Ice Punch over Fire Punch on Marowak, for stuff like Cradily and Gligar. Most of the stuff you're hitting with Fire Punch is covered by Stone Edge/Ice Punch anyway (grass, bugs, etc) and you have Earthquake for steels as it is.
