Morning Sun has exceptional synergy with Desolate Land and allows Iron Moth to stay healthy. U-turn allows Iron Moth to pivot against threats such as Garganacl and Garchomp into a more favorable match up. Alternatively, Solar Beam can 2HKO Sand Stream Garganacl due to Desolate Land nullifying sand, and Toxic Spikes forces progress and chips down foes with poison damage. Iron Moth is vulnerable to faster Primordial Sea users such as Greninja and Barraskewda; therefore, thus it appreciates priority users and fast teammates such as Extremespeed Dragonite and Choice Scarf Sandy Shocks, respectively.
