First of all hi to everyone.

This is my first post at smogon, so I'll try to keep it up to the rules of posting, although my english is not very good.


Well here it goes, the strategy of this team is to leave the opponent in check as long as posible, it's kinda basic, but the team is working pretty good, with a 75% of winning

Azelf @ Focus Sash
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Explosion
- Psychic
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt

Best lead I've ever tried, prevents SR against every lead bar scarfers, other Azelfs, and Aero, and has some troubles setting SR against meta, aero, and scarfachi
Against Aero I usually explode against a obvious taunt, and then BP or Pursuit with Scizor

Breloom (M) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 44 HP / 252 Atk / 212 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Facade/Seed BOMB
- Focus Punch
- Spore
- Substitute

Breloom can make a combo after azelfs explodes if the opponent doesnt faint, and put it to sleep to prevent SR, and also makes a good switch in against every pert, since my team has no ice weakness other than breloom, no swampert is gonna ice beam any of my other pokes.
Like i said before, spore is the best sleep inducing move in the game, and i always like puting pokes to sleep.
Also gives me the oportunity to break some walls, and catch off guard some zapdos and scizors.
Also good at taking status, once toxic orb is activated

This set can screw me up if there's a subghost on my opponents side, cause i'll most likely have to sacrifice scizor kingdra or rotom to not get raped

Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- U-turn

This is my SLOW revenge killer, and pursuiter that works with breloom facade + focus punch who'd be totally walled by ghosts. Also scizor obviously helps me to scout opponent teams, and helps me finish sasher leads after azelfs boom.
Also, the only dragon type resister in my team
I chose scizor because otherwise my team would be weak to dragons, and having a technician pursuit is nice to make breloom work This guy is so over used that using BP is a risk against incoming SD Lucarios and Kingdras... so I'm not sure about this guy either

Gyarados (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Ice Fang
- Stone Edge
- Waterfall

The best DD'er I've found, intimidate + resistance to BP + the fact I hardly get SR on my side, works nice. But I'm not sure because gyara and kingdra both resist bullet punch and I think they don't make good synergy
Gyarados, makes a nice switch in against heatran, infernape, scizor, and flygon (if i predict U-Turn). Also sweeps a LOT after 1 DD, makes good synergy with breloom, because they complement each other weaknesses

Anyways I was just thinking that this could be replaced as it servers pretty much the same purpose as kingdra ..

Rotom-h @ Choice scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 SATK/252 Speed
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Overheat
- Shadow Ball
- Trick

Spin blocker, Scizor Absorber. If it gets pursuited, I go to gyara or kingdra and DD. Another revenge killer, specially for gyarados, that comes on scizor bullet punch and dragon dance, when I switch in rotom, they usually think they're faster, and fail
I chose him mainly to prevent gyara sweep, to have another U-Turn combo resist, and a fast revenge killer, because scizor lacks the speed.
This thing also blocks spinners
Another good scizor electivire and machamp switch in, also can cripple walls with trick, and ohko gengars that think they're faster.

Kingdra (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sniper
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Substitute
- Waterfall

The other DD sweeper, complements itselfs with scizor and breloom, having x4 fire resist, subs helps me block status against rotoms, dusknoirs
Another good switch in against scizor, some infernapes and heatran (hoping it doesnt carryes dragon pulse)
I mainly chose kingdra because IMO it doesnt have any counter, since empoleon cant do much to him, and +1 outrage is a 3HKO, most teams are unprepared for a kingdra sweep
This set gets a DD on every match i played, although blissey can sometimes resist a +2 outrage..


I expect your suggestions, because I'm not sure which poke is the weak link, and if i missed any posting RMT rule, please someone tell me and I'll edit it

Its kind of difficult for me to rate because I think you should give more detail in your explanation, like why? you have that Pokemon, why you chose it and if you have a certain strategy, how it helps with that.

Other than that I suggest you switch Rotom with a Rotom-H as its more bulkier so it can probably come in on scizor using Bullet punch and OHKO back with Overheat, or burn with Will-o-Wisp or paralyze with Thunderwave. Because Scizor can rip through your team with Gyarados out of the way.

I'd suggest you use Will-o-Wisp because you can definitely cripple physcial attackers which allows Gyarados to survive most unSTAB Stone Edges. And if you're gonna use Will-o-Wisp for that reason you might want to give Gyarados Leftovers to survive Physical Super Effective hits if its taken more damage other than Stealth Rock.It also gives you a little longer to live because in sandstorm your gyarados take: 46%.5 damage because of: Sandstorm+Life Orb+Stealth Rock.

Well, the team building was around breloom, because like i said, i found lots of teams unprepared for him, or with only one counter and breloom fullfills the role of immune to toxic spikes on the team, also a status absorber, plus the best sleeping move, and a monstrous attack stat..

The strategy may seem foolish cause the team has actually none but being so agressive that only a few pokes are "safe" switch ins, if i get one move ahead of my opponent I kinda have the match on my side.

For egg: after Azelf's boom, If I don't KO his poke, its usually on low health for me to finish it with scizor, if its a ghost i have plenty of options, if its a slow poke, I can put it to sleep


I've tried lots of strategies, stall, hail stall, sweeping with one or two pokes, and I've found that pure offense it's better than every of those strategy, at least the way I play.

I don't know if this is called a "strategy" but its working pretty fine.. but i'm still open for suggestions

I'm playing on NB, so i don't have access to rotom forms, only to UU rotom.
and it's very hard that my opponent gets SR up, and the team has 4 steel resistances, so i found that set redundant, also i cant revenge kill gyaras

7 month year bump
