I'd like to join the Offensive Team, as I was always partial to bulky offense and HO, not so much stall and the like, and there's always room to grow and learn, which would be immensely helpful to my teambuilding. And where/when would the discussion take place, if I might ask?

I would like to join Offensive team because I enjoy the risk and reward of that playstyle and basically all my teams are offense.
 
I'd like to join offense, if you don't mind.

(Although I warn you: my activity may wane, so don't rely on me to be timely with my replies and what not . . . mind you, Mon-Fri I should be checking this thread fairly often enough).

Why should I be picked . . . ? Well, I have lots of ladder success with offense, I teach others a lot, I'm familiar with group teambuilding, (especially with offense), and I'm considered a "respectable offensive player" on Smogon (whatever that means).

I'm not fussed if I'm not picked, though. I can only be active on the forums and what not, and saying I'll be active is like an overstatement . . . XD

Hm. Well we do have a record of each member and the team they joined maybe at the end of this thread each round winning Pokemon will be given to the members of that round if that team wins. For example

Winning set

Round 1 defensive : porygon 2
Round 1 offensive: kyurem

Many years later when all rounds are done and defensive team wins (hypothetically)

All round 1 participants receive a porygon egg with sv

All round 2 participants receive etc

I would volunteer to breed any eggs needed and provide esvs.
 
I'd like to be on the defensive team please. I'm experienced in both play styles so this choice is just personal preference really.
 
Since it seems we have our full 16 members (as I am sure you already realize, you are in, Ninety_Nine), I have taken the liberty of starting this round's conversation for the Defensive Team.

Would you be so kind as to rephrase your question? Just to clarify, this project has six rounds. Each round consists of two teams with 16 members each, each member decided by requesting being part of the discussion (offensive or defensive) on a first come, first serve basis. During each round, we discuss useful pokemon and strategies to our respective playstyles (again, either offensive or defensive) and decide on five pokemon to submit to this topic. When both teams have done this, the community votes which offensive pokemon and which defensive pokemon of the ten total submitted will be on their respective teams. Then, a new round begins. We are on round 2 at the moment.
