Anyone play this game as religiously as I do? I've played ~3000 total games and would love to play a few more with some smogon friends.

I just checked your profile and you've never played anything but Halo 3, Force Unleashed, and CoD4. Not only that, you've never even touched Halo 3's campaign?

Man Roy I just checked you on Bungie, and wow. General Grade 2, and you've gotten some perfections, exterminations,rampage, and even a killionaire. Your way out of my league. I don't play Halo as much as usual, but if I start playing it again often, I'll play with you guys.
 
haha. yeah, that sort of reflects how much i play. you'd find that adam (seph) is even better than me, and we play mlg playlist constantly. currently trying to break 45 in mlg, but we'll see! competition is amazingly tough when you get that high in mlg.
 
We should all go for a Smogon Halo 3 co-op Legendary run sometime :o I think carl, zerowing, seph, and I tried it once but something was wrong with one of our connections and it was really laggy. Was fun though. I went through it with my friends before as well and am thinking of doing it again this winter. Maybe we can get those skulls!
 
i'd love to. as said, i've never completed legendary (let alone campaign) so i'd be all for this.

i do always play mlg though because i like their rules
also i just bought cod5 today so i wont be playing halo3 alot anymore i suppose

I love the Carbine so much... basically any time I am on High Ground, Snowbound, anywhere with the Carbine I use it exclusively. This is because I want it to be my best weapon.

My stats are still awful, I used to suck very badly at this game until I learned a few tricks, mainly how to throw grenades properly, and that you don't need to be touching someone to pull off a melee. My K/D ratio is 0.87, but I'm bringing it up. I have a skill of 31 currently.

EDIT: Make that 29, stupid halo, I have been basically death fodder for the last 10 games... spawning in the most dangerous of areas, getting grenaded as soon as I kill somebody... etc etc. My average life was 5 seconds last match.

My GT is Azelf Da BRKing for anyone who cares. I made that account around the end of October, riiiight before my CernelxSanders account got hacked. I haven't touched any playlist besides Team Swat since I haven't really played an actually serious Slayer game in a while, usually, I'll just go into a corner and T-Bag the ground for a while so, I'm the biggest piece of death fodder on my team (everyone wants to kill the elite with the Assult helmet and the spartan with the ODST helmet for some reason >_>). I never pay attention to the amount of negative exp I get when I just go crazy on my team- speaking of, that's why my SSJ3 Roserade and CernelxSanders accounts were hacked- so, my exp is amazingly low on my CernelxSanders account.

Now, with that said, I DO play seriously when needed, just not much. So, unless I'm playing with a friend or, just bored, 9 times out of 10, I'll pretty much drag my team down as low as possible.

My GT is MetallicFire73. I'm pretty good (A lot better than I used to be), but my rank is really low. I never used to play ranked much at all, because I had friends over most of the time I played. I still only have 150 ranked matches played (compared to over 600 social). I can definitely bring my highest skill Up (pretty easily), and I don't want to get gold bars yet. I'd be up for campaign, if it was set up. I've already beaten it on co-op, but I'd like to get Annual.
 
in other news I've become obsessed with Lone Wolves now that I'm done with Team Slayer (I had five straight games where I went over +9 and we still lost, due to team quitting/them being terrible, dropped my skill from 32 to 29)

In less then 30 games, I got to level 21 pretty easily, so I wanna see if I can get a promotion off of this.
 
lone wolves is nice, there is less kill stealing from your teammates, so you get more kills most of the time, but on the downside, it's so easy to get "revenge killed" on smaller maps like guardian or epitaph.

high ground is my favorite map right now, because im so obsessed with the carbine.

I've also found the SMG to be better than the AR is most situations due to it's clip being almost twice the size, AND it has wicked fast melee. I've beaten shotgun users to the punch with the SMG's melee attack, much to the dismay of my opponent. The AR has more stopping power, but the SMG just sprays so many bullets that it more than makes up for the drop in damage.
