Official Nickname Thread

My nicknames are used strategically to force my opponents into mistakes.

Curselax = "Thick Fat"
Breloom = "No Spore"
Linoone = "E-Speed!"
 
Pidgey- Areon (Air-eon)
Taillow- Alareon (Ala-Spanish for wing, Areon)
Starmie- Meistar
Alakazam- Mesmero

Togekiss- (I made like... 40 names for it because of this one topic in GFaqs asking for a good nickname. None of the names were chosen. T.T They were things like Huggles, Fluffs, Fluffy, Fluffer, Twinkles, Sprinkles, Fluffair, more some were actually nice, I forgot what I wanted to name my Togekiss now >.<)

Ninetales- Fogxod (Foxdog->Foxgod->Fogxod)
Jynx- Kisuki
Miltank- YoMomma
Zigzagoon/Linoone- Rapidoom
Typhlosion (Unsure on the name)- Scorphoon

Charizard- Voltile (Volcano+Reptile, sounds like Volatile)
Venusaur- Fortile (Forest+Reptile, sounds like Fertile)
Blastoise- Martile (Mar+Reptile, sounds like Mortal or w/e >.>)

Treecko- Gruncher for some reason >.>

Grumpig- Porceus
Yanma- Nicky (I've no clue O.o)
Dugtrio- CornDogs/Sandtrio
Mantine- Mantarei
Skarmory- Razorwings >.>
Roselia- PeacFlowr ._.


Yeah, I have to rename some.
 
I am kin've weird cuz I think of slightly evil names for my pokemon, for example I named my torterra, Torturous. But then I also make funny nicknames such as my Swampert, Blueberry.....

Besides Luna, the only name I thought for her was Midna. And even myself couldn't understand the "logic" behind it...

Anyway, Luna is a beautiful name, and I think Cresselia is a pretty pokémon. And she's the Lunar Pokémon, so the name fits perfectly.
 
I would name my Cresselia Tsukira (from Tsuki, the Japanese for moon) or something badass like a Native American word for moon.

In the event I end up with a female Infernape, I will name her Zira. A male will be named Enma. Once a Narutard, always a Narutard, I guess...! :D

I like nicknames. They make sense compared to the alternative. I mean, who calls their dog "Dog"*?

I always had a habit of naming my water starter "Nimbus", even though it never had Rain Dance, heh. But this time I named my Piplup "William" (you know, after Chilly Willy the penguin).

My Crystal team was the one with definite nicknames:

Feraligatr - Nimbus
Gengar - Janus (deception, doppelgangers)
Alakazam - Harry (as in Houdini and Potter)
Arcanine - Vermill (from the colour vermillion and Vermilion, a red wolf from an anime version of The Jungle Book)
Umbreon - Mabruk (I believe it's Arabic for "may it be blessed", said on special occasions. Also, in my native language of Greek it kind of sounds like the word for "black")
Ampharos - Lucy (lux = light. It was the only female in my team)

I think I'll name my Porygon-Z "[SIZE=-1]01011010". Not only is it nice and symmetrical, it's also the letter Z in binary. Unfortunately, I'm drawing a blank for the rest.[/SIZE]
