Hi,
that´s my new team! I don´t know why my last thread (A BP-Team) got closed, so if something here is false, please tell me, cause my english is not so good.^^ So here´s a Rain Dance team. I´m a noob with Rain dance, so I think, its not so good.^^

electrode.png

Electrode @Damp Rock
Ability: Static
EVs: 252 Atk / 28 SpA / 228 Spe
Hasty Nature (+Spe / -Def)
~Rain Dance
~Explosion
~Thunder
~Taunt

My Lead. With the great speed, it can taunt and so block SR and other taunts. Rain Dance and Thunder works very well, and with explosion, I can fastly switch to another Pokemon and do damage, too.

qwilfish.png

Qwilfish @Focus Sash
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature (+Atk / -SpA)
~Rain Dance
~Waterfall
~Poison Jab
~Explosion

This pokemon is really cool. With Focus Sash, it can always make a rain dance, if necessary, and then sweep with Waterfall and Poison Jab. Explosion is very good to end, cause it kills almost every Sweeper.^^ Waterfall + Stab + Rain hurtz!

ludicolo.png

Ludicolo @Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spe / 252 SpA
Modest Nature (+SpA / -Atk)
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~Energyball
~Rain Dance

Special sweeper. Good coverage and can bring some rain in again.

kabutops.png

Kabutops @Life-Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature (+Atk / -SpA)
~Swords Dance
~Stone Edge
~Waterfall
~Aqua Jet

Good Swords dance sweeper. After a swords dance, it is almost unstoppable.^^ With Swift Swim, it has huge speed, and can almost always hit first except very fast pokemon. Aqua Jet for pokemon with priority moves.

gorebyss.png

Gorebyss @Life-Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 36 HP / 252 SpA / 220 Spe
Modest Nature (+SpA / -Atk)
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~Psychic
~Hidden Power {Grass}

Nice special sweeper. Good Coverage and can kill Toxicroak, who wood make my team problems.

uxie.png

Uxie @Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
~Rain Dance
~Stealth Rock
~U-Turn
~Yawn

Good Supporter. Gives me a ground immunity and a fighting resistence. Can also set up Rain again, use Stealth Rocks, and scout with U-Turn.

So please, please rate! And if you´re something missing in this thread, why it should get closed, please tell me, so I can edit.

3... 2... 1... r8!

I prefer ludicolo on my UU rain dance teams, i would put him over omastar,

Ludicolo @ Life Orb
Nature: Modest
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 4hp/252spa/252spe
~Energy Ball
~Hydro Pump/Surf
~Ice Beam
~Rain Dance/Something lol

Mich more versatile, and specs isnt needed in rain, life orb/expert belt is probably better than any other choice item with swift swim, ludicolo also has some nice resistances.

I prefer ampibom rain dance leads, simply because FO, breaks the many sash leads, and can still set up rain dance.

I suggest replacing Rotom with Uxie. It is much bulkier, can set up Rain Dance, and perhaps most importantly, use Stealth Rock. Use:
Uxie@Damp Rock
252 HP/252 Def/4 Spe
Bold
-Rain Dance
-Stealth Rock
-U-turn
-Psychic/Thunder Wave

Choice Specs is a no for Rain dance teams. I agree with the above poster, use Ludicolo. Use Surf over Hydro Pump though, and the last slot can be Rain Dance.

But why not Ludicolo over Gorebyss?

And why Uxie over Rotom? Rotom gives me a fighting immunity, and the ability to kill water pokemon better. That can´t uxie do. So why Uxie?

And why should I play Ludicolo? His Special attack is so bad^^

Uxie also resists fighting, so thats not an issue. And Gorebyss can take out waters, along with Ludicolo.

But why not Ludicolo over Gorebyss?

Because Gorebyss is a better sweeper than Omastar in Rain.

And why should I play Ludicolo? His Special attack is so bad^^

Ludicolo's Special Attack isn't bad, and under the Rain and with STAB, Surf is going to hurt.
And Ludicolo gives you a way to take out waters, and adds some special bulk to the team.

At least try out the changes.

Ok, so I´ll add Ludicolo over Omastar, and Uxie over Rotom. In five minutes, it will be actualisated.

E:/ Ok, added.

LOL, dude, ok look at it this way. Rain dance means surf goes to 142.5BP, and then stab takes it to over 210, wat u have there is equal to a kingdra draco meteor (modest 252spa), and with slightly more damage and no recoil, AND 100% accuracy. He is probably the best special attacker in rain for UU, and energy ball, ice beam, surf give him great coverage. If you feel he is lacking power, you can always go for hydro pump over surf, because hydro pump then reaches 270 base power, nice eh.

And 317 is not a bad spa stat for UU, especially when you look at most others in UU, aka altaria, a beast but only has 262 attack when adamant..

This thread is now locked under RMT Rule 3:
Rule #3 said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you're having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

Just telling us the effects of your moves and abilities is not good enough.
