Oh The Weather Outside is Frightful:
A smogon rain team:

Team Building Process:*
Tornadus:
641.gif

I really wanted someone that could be a quick special sweeper, and I wanted to see what hurricane was like. Since, Thundrus isn’t allowed, that leaved me with one choice, and I’m happy that I get to use Tornadus.
Politoed:
186f.gif

What good is hurricane if it can’t ever hit? Now it’s a rain team.*
Electivire:
466.gif

So now I thought who else can abuse rain with those 100 accuracy thunders. Well Electvivire worked perfectly. He’s a mixed attacker so he can take advantage of both sides of himself.
Toxicroak:
454f.gif

Who else can abuse rain? Toxicroak sure can, I saw this once when I got swept with it on a rain team, and now I’m in live with it.
Volbeat:
313.gif

How unstoppable would Tornadus become if we powered him up a little? Well that’s like asking, how powerful would a nuclear bomb be if we doubled its size? This guys really just a baton passer.
Tentacruel:
073.gif

So I’ve realized I don’t really have anyone to set up entry hazards, and I have a couple pokes weak to stealth rocks, so who’s a poke that can do both. Well Tentacruel does both and more, he even benefits in rain.

Tentacruel:
073.gif

Nature: Bold | Ability: Rain Dish*
Item: Leftovers
EV: 252 HP 242 Def 16
Moves:*
~ Toxic Spikes
~ Rapid Spin*
~ Scald*
~ Ice Beam
He is the definition of support. With toxic spikes to get up, scald for burn for those who avoid spikes and just for some damage in the rain, and ice beam for coverage. And then rapid spin which saves Volbeat and Tornadus from stealth rocks and everyone from any entry hazards.

Politoed:
186f.gif

Nature: Calm | Ability: Drizzle | Type: Water
Item;
EV: 252 HP 252 SpD 4*
Moves:*
~ Scald*
~ Ice Beam*
~ Encore*
~ Toxic
Let it rain! Politoed is here for weather. Why else would he be on a team? Anyways, he can actually do other things then just set up rain. On the first turn he is sent out to put up rain, and the opponent usually sends out their supporter. So I use encore and free myself from some unneeded hazards. Next I have scald for burn on those annoying attackers, since when Politoed is out Tentacruel most likely hasn’t been out yet and because of rain it can actually hurt the foe. Toxic for those special attackers that aren’t affected as much burn and ice beam again for coverage.

Toxicroak:
454f.gif

Nature: Adamant | Ability: Dry Skin
Item: Leftovers
EV: 252 HP 252 Att 4*
Moves:*
~ Sucker Punch*
~ Substitute*
~ Drain Punch*
~ Bulk Up
This guy is a real pain in the butt. Literally once he has set up, the only thing that can take him out is a psychic special move. So, bulk up is for setting up, getting good attack, and decent defense, and sub goes along with bulk up, just helping me set up easier. Sucker punch is for those guys when I don’t have a sub up and I could get OHKO’d and drain punch is for more health back, even though I receive 18.75% HP back every turn in rain.

Tornadus:
641.gif

Item Ability Nature
Choice Specs Prankster Timid
Moveset EVs
~ Hurricane*
~ Focus Blast*
~ Taunt
~ Hidden Power Ice*
4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252*
You spam those hurricanes! Yep that is what Tornadus does! With a 180 power move with 100% accuracy, and Tornadus having 1436 SPATK after Volbeat's tail glow pass, or 578 without the pass, Tornadus will tear apart even those who resist it. He’s fast and powerful. Pretty much as long as rain is up, Tornadus will only use hurricane.

Volbeat:
313.gif

Item Ability Nature
Leftovers Prankster Bold
Moveset EVs
~ Tail Glow*
~ Baton Pass*
~ Encore*
~ Thunder Wave*
248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Baton Pass is the phrase that describes what Volbeat does. The only thing that attracted me into using this pathetic excuse for a bug was tail glow and baton pass. A somewhat pleasing other effect is his prankster Twave. Yep that’s pretty much it for this guy. If you can see by now, I don’t like to use all OUs.

Electivire:
466.gif

Item Ability Nature
Expert Belt Motor Drive Naive
Moveset EVs
~ Thunder
~ Earthquake
~ Cross Chop*
~ Ice Punch*
144 Atk / 140 SpA / 224 Spe
Who other than Tornadus can spam away in the rain? Electivire sure can. With an EV spread benefiting both physical and special moves, Electivire is good at both. He has thunder to spam away in the wind and 3 other moves for type coverage and also for the 20% boost of the expert belt under super effective circumstances. He also has the motor drive ability which is really great because a lot of my team is hurt by electric moves.

Yah so that’s my team, please leave comments suggestions and whatever. Thanks for spending your time reading this :).

Nice team overall! I'd like to suggest a few things that are a bit self explanatory:

On Tornadus, replace Taunt with U-turn. Being locked into Taunt means that it will be killed easily by hard hitters since they don't mind being Taunted. Also, U-turn is the best friend of all Choice users since it lets you switch out when your opponents send out a check or counter. For example, TTar. He can change the weather in an instant and ruin your sweep so when you predict TTar to come in, you can U-turn out then go to E-vire and Cross Chop it to death. Also, on E-vire, replace Ice Punch with Hidden Power Ice since the things that you will hit with an Ice- attack usually has lower special defense like Gliscor.

A bit of an outside tip: When you're using a Poison-type, better use Black Sludge than Leftovers because it's a good exchange if someone Tricks you. They'll get damaged forcing them to Trick another Pokemon and if you predict correctly, you might just end up with your old item.

Ok thanks. Also if I baton pass the tail glow to Electivire, he can use a powered up HP ice. My favorite poke on the team is definitely Volbeat. He can encore them because people try to set up on him, thè can set up 2 tail glows, then encore them again, and then baton pass. Now Tornadus or Electivire has one free shot.

I'd change Ice Punch for Hidden Power Ice so you can hit Gliscor harder. I don't really like Evire on a rain team since it cant run a fire move but w/e.

Not a bad team overall. But like when we battled, one good electric type can sweep hard once Evire is gone. I think Dugtrio is a good idea to trap electric types and others locked into electric or stat boost moves.

If you decide to change for Dugtrio your whole team gets OHKOed by Rotom-W. I'd take Volbeat of for a Grass Type, imo. How about Virizion? You don't lose the offensive fighting STAB of Toxicroak but you still function well in rain.
Here's the set.
640_virizion_front_norm.png

Swords Dance
Close Combat
Leaf Blade
Hidden Power Ice / Stone Edge
Item: Life Orb / Leftovers
Nature: Naive / Jolly
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

I don't Think Electivire is a fantastic choice for this team honestly. With a poor speed stat and ever poorer defenses, it won't be sticking around long. Volbeat also seems to have only one purpose of Baton Passing a boost to Tornadus. For this reason I recommend replacing Electivire with a Charge Beam Baton Pass Jolteon You could also use Thunder and HP Ice for coverage and then BP a boost to Tornadus. Volbeat can stay if you want it to, but i think something like Ferrothorn would be better to stack hazards

Oh and of course leaving in Politoed because it's a rain team. I'll add in pics later.

I see something with this. You made sooo many changes that your core is gone and it isnt really a rain team any more. I think you shouldnt go all change happy. Change one thing then test it. Then make adjusments to that.

Rain isn't just about having specific things that can be done in rain, it about using it to your advantage. Everyone there benefits, either by neutralizing a fire weakness, starting an ability, or giving a move 100% accuracy. Also I didn't go hmm this didn't work I'll change everything, I went hmm this poke isn't pulling its weight I'll change him, I changed then one by one testing each alteration as I went.

Seeing as youre virizion has hp ice may i suggest a work up set, it is largly simmilar but with split evs and giga drain> leaf blade

ok, I'm going to cut to the chase.
your format is very awkward, what with the random stars next to some words and the weird way you showed your items and abilities.
I also don't understand the point of recreating your team anew in the comments. That kind of big change should be shown a month later, in a cleaner, prettier format that isn't thrown together in a couple minutes.
sorry man, but I can't give a proper rate because I don't know which team TO rate. But I'll give you all I can.
I'll assume you want the second team rated.
first, why the heck would you use Parasect in OU? Ditch it for Celebi. I have my own set that I promise you'll love.
Celebi @ Leftovers
Naive/Hasty Nature, Natural Cure
224 HP, 240 Sp Atk, 40 Spe
Leaf Storm
Perish Song
Thunder Wave
U turn
This set is not featured on site (it is of my own creation) but is paired extremely well with trappers such as Dugtrio or Magnezone. The way you work this thing is to come in on something that's not a threat, Twave, Perish Song, and U turn to Dugtrio. That way, you can quickly dispose of many defensive threats such as Blissey, Chansey, and all bulky waters. Leaf Storm is Celebi's STAB of choice, hitting extremely hard without minding the Sp Atk drop. The EV's are too allow Celebi to outspeed standard 36 EV Jirachi by one point, while keeping bulk and power balanced.

I know it's your first RMT, so I'll cut you some slack, but try reading the posting rules and foratting before you make an RMT.
