Tournament OMCL I - Week 4

won a pretty rng heavy series vs betti, shame about the last game especially as that was setting up to be a v close endgame

here are the teams i used:
g1: https://pokepast.es/fc6b17784c5abdae - very cool team Jrdn and I built based around his idea of rain + specs adapt zapdos. Was very strong into betticus' scout and in general vs like anything barring spdef vabs corv teams as hurricane does insane damage. Even with desoland stuff its still v strong as the desolanders have to switch into a hurricane that kills if it connects, meaning you get coinflips to basically end the game on the spot. Pao partners unbelievably with this offering some prio that happens to kill rmoon from full even with banded shard, whilst generally being a great wincon/breaker.

g2: https://pokepast.es/5df6c4256e7b4214 (jrdn version: https://pokepast.es/098579f0676d641a) - these 2 teams are built around banded steelworker metagross which is also a very cool set. Brick walls into fluffy corv which is why maybe trick is better on it, but generally speaking does absurd damage and i loved it in aaauu. My version lacks a ghost resist which punished me and could definitely use some work, but i think the concept is fun!

g3: https://pokepast.es/101bcb302b4d06aa - I mentioned to jrdn that specs crown sounds like it would go ham into a lot of betti's teams and jrdn made me aware its actually one of his favorite sets. I was thinking specs tinted but the steelworker calcs are more impactful across the board. Conveniently jrdn had a team with this set which I made a mild change to in wbb ghold with scarf trick to give the team more outs vs cheese stuff.
