Messy recording and missing some at the start of the auction due to some IRL stuff causing me to forget this auction was happening when it did.

GOOD WORK PALKIAS !!!

i got my start in competitive pokemon through omms, and even though i didn't know much about smogon tournaments back then, i had the wish for there to be an ommpl so i could play mashups in a real tournament (in contrast to my monumental endeavors of making twelve monotype hackmons sample teams and beating don vascus in a room tour with calyrex grass). time passed and with all the prominent omm players like ducky, byleth, skink, gbou, hizo, eggs, and even riceman moving on to greener pastures i figured it would never happen and hung up my hat as well. now it's finally come around and i wasn't able to win with any of my old friends; but maybe that's for the best because i truly couldn't ask for a better team (except maybe quinn ngl)
and also i'm literally the best omm player of all time for winning this tour building 50% of the teams

bleahey no time and no prep and you still farmed the whole pool good job buddy. i don't know about lc mnm at all but you brought some pretty cool stuff. you probably had the highest win to linecount ratio out of the whole team ngl. and thx for always being there to "manage" with me. #thatsmymanager

AthenaStrive9 right after i signed up u were the first person i thought of drafting, i was impressed by ur ggvgc open run and other games i saw u play so thank u for having faith in me as a manager and not reaching out to anyone else. glad i could make good on my promise that we would win

Quinn you almost went positive buddy. maybe next year eh? when i saw u and baddy sign up together i figured i would get a 20% engagement boost from the two of u and i wanted to get baddy soooo. consider urself lucky u were part of the package deal kid. i think i would be gravely remiss if i did not include in this one remark that is both serious and positive: i could definitely see ur record being 5-2 or even higher if more things went right during games like getting the crit before rofna did or not gettting generally unlucky vs kinetic. maybe youll see that great tusk in the next life eh my second favorite slug

Jojen after tech got bought i realized that there were probably like two, if not zero, pokebh players that could also build in the pool that i wanted to draft. i was just going to put you in and give you aerobee teams because he was in the cord but then i drafted seroo and then also gave you some garbage that i built so my bad about that. you did get those aerobee teams in the end though, good job ending up even

duckycrater i wanted to nominate someone who i thought would surely be upbid by others and i saw your name, i guess youre not as clouted as i thought you were. i dislike you as a person but at the end of the day it's not that deep, and you did the best thing you could for the team which was not send any messages. for that i thank you

Baddy buddy. you got haxed week 1 and then loaded impossible matchup into stall week 2. but u brought it back to end with a phenomenal record after WE locked in in the prep department. idk why i'm saying stuff you already know though. thank you for all ur effort im so proud of u buddy. i am glad i could give you the best team tour experience of all time, ever

sleepyfwog ngl you contributed a lot more than i expected you to. i think you had the most messages in the server excluding myself, thank you for helping Buddy get acquainted with the wonderful tier of pokeaaa and enabling me to build wonderful wonderful teams for him. u have a lot of potential in these garbage mu fish tiers, sorry we didn't get to use all of ur crazy sets. one day u will get better at playing and nobody will be ready for the hell in ur builder

Shout out to people who helped me test or helped in any way (BandedBodyPress, splodge, Clas, TTTech, rightclicker). Special shoutout to DragonPhoenix333 and Mewtwo's Greatest Soldier i legit could not have gotten through the tour without u guys and given up at like week 2

i got my start in competitive pokemon through omms, and even though i didn't know much about smogon tournaments back then, i had the wish for there to be an ommpl so i could play mashups in a real tournament (in contrast to my monumental endeavors of making twelve monotype hackmons sample teams and beating don vascus in a room tour with calyrex grass). time passed and with all the prominent omm players like ducky, byleth, skink, gbou, hizo, eggs, and even riceman moving on to greener pastures i figured it would never happen and hung up my hat as well. now it's finally come around and i wasn't able to win with any of my old friends; but maybe that's for the best because i truly couldn't ask for a better team (except maybe quinn ngl)
and also i'm literally the best omm player of all time for winning this tour building 50% of the teams

bleahey no time and no prep and you still farmed the whole pool good job buddy. i don't know about lc mnm at all but you brought some pretty cool stuff. you probably had the highest win to linecount ratio out of the whole team ngl. and thx for always being there to "manage" with me. #thatsmymanager

Jojen after tech got bought i realized that there were probably like two, if not zero, pokebh players that could also build in the pool that i wanted to draft. i was just going to put you in and give you aerobee teams because he was in the cord but then i drafted seroo and then also gave you some garbage that i built so my bad about that. you did get those aerobee teams in the end though, good job ending up even

Ok this post was actually so funny but i now figure i should have clarified that all of the "hahahaha i won you suck an i'm better" or "fuck u quinn in particular" type remarks are lighthearted and certainly not meant to put anybody down. i didn't have any malicious intent writing this post nor did i have any bad experiences with anyone on my team (vice-versa as well to my knowledge, despite what Buddy may tell you). i didn't think it would be perceived in a hurtful way but i completely understand why it might be; and while i don't attribute any weight to the opinions of random people on the internet, i would hate for my post to be misconstrued by people that can bar me from managing other tournaments at their discretion

while that is true, there's a clear distinction between the random innocuous internet poster that i will never see again and someone that i actually have a real relationship established with (the people on my team). i'm certain i didn't hurt the feelings of anybody mentioned in that post to any degree, excluding duckycrater of course who i just shouldn't have said anything about
consequences extend much further than not being able to manage smogon tours, of course i face personal consequences for taking actions that have a detrimental act on my relationships. u might think i'm a complete asshole for saying this but the only thing i should even be apologizing for is the way i described duckycrater; i don't like her and i still don't but i shouldnt be insulting her in a congratulatory post. i don't know why i thought that was a good idea at the time LOL

sometimes i think its best to not speak when you want to. i have choice words on some of my plays this tour and same with some of my players' plays throughout the tour, but overall im pretty proud of them

im not gonna ping or really write out a long post bc i suck at them + dont have time today but s/o everyone on duckletts, even the ones with less impact than others. shame that life got in the way for some of us but it happens, and either way going 1-5 -> 3x 4-2 to guarantee playoffs was huge, even if it meant we didn't really do well in w5 from not trying enough and having the aftereffects unfortunately having some linger for us all in playoffs. proud of you all and wish you all luck in future.
