Tournament OMMPL I - Semifinals

Follow all rules listed here.
Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

Record difference aside, jb is clearly not afraid to explore in the builder and while I do think the typing combinations they prefer are uncomfortably fishy that's the correct way to go about building for Camove tours atp. Also played more thoughtfully when these two faced off last week, though I'm sure that's due to experience gap

LC MnM: Mok3s vs GhastlyPixie (70)
This is clearly a mainer tier and Pixie is better versed in figuring out unexplored metas out with a time limit
PokeAAA: Betticus IV (70) vs adriancosmoem
More sound fundamentally in-game and their teams don't seem to have obvious consistent weaknesses, though I don't play this so take with a grain of salt. Closer than 70-30 might imply, usually predictors try to account for variance by assigning players they believe to have minimal chances 25-30% but I do think there is a ~30% chance Belli loses
PokeBH: TTTech (70) vs Mewtwo's Greatest Soldier
Again, misplays less but there's a lot of bs in this meta just lying around in the builder – however, there quite a few anti-cheese options as well
STAB MnM: Kinetic vs RoFnA (65)
RoFnA misplays less and I think their prep choices have been more pointed, as opposed to what appears like a more "random bs go" approach to me. Also record difference as someone who doesn't touch this meta frequently

Below matchup is closer than it looks, I expect about a 4-2 or 3-3

Your chances of winning in this meta increase greatly when you nolife prep, and idt the playing skill difference is actually that massive anymore. Close one though

Record diff, also Clas (main support?) unsuccessfully playing for a couple weeks then dipping is telling
LC MnM: bleahey (55) vs mmtaccos
I actually have no idea what's going on with the Palkias' prep, but the mainer vs nonmainer advantage seems considerable as someone who doesn't know the meta, though much less so when mmtaccos has started for 4 weeks already
PokeAAA: Baddy (75) vs pecha nerd
Baddy is much more sound as a player and if Career Ended couldn't succeed with the Duckletts' builds then this seems rather one-sided
PokeBH: Jojen (50) vs Bobsican (50)
Jojen misplays a little less imo, though they play as though they are unfamiliar with the options available in BH. Teams-wise, Jojen's support has made more silly minor decisions, but Bob's structures are more fundamentally flawed and I would be surprised if Clas looked over the teams they have used at all. Pretty much even imo, and I slightly favor Jojen if THR tries not to overcook + they test as much as possible

Slightly more fundamentally sound + I have a similarly good opinion of the teams both sides have brought so far (if anything I like the Duckletts' a little better)
