Hello everyone! We are pleased to announce that manager signups for OMPL XIV are now open. If you would like to manage, please read the following details before signing up.
  • There are 8 teams and each team will have one manager.
    • Managers can choose to signup with a co-manager.
  • Managers are required to participate in the auction to draft their players.
  • Managers will have a budget of 100k and can purchase themselves as players for their team for 13.5k for the first manager and 16k for the second if they desire to do so.
    • All manager purchases must be sent to the hosts (Rex, UT, Zcarlett, zoe) before the draft, and all of them will be announced in the administrative thread when that goes up.
  • Managers must select their lineup for the week and send it to the hosts before the week starts. This has been an issue on occasion in past OMPLs, so if you don't think you can do this for the duration of OMPL XIV (it's honestly not that complicated), do not sign up.
  • Managers are responsible for their team's behavior. Make sure members of your team are abiding by the rules and remain active.
  • Managers are expected to facilitate substitutions when necessary.
If you can commit for the next two months or so, go ahead and sign up with your prospective team name. Managers will be decided within one week, by <t:1777773600:F>. They may close earlier (with at least 24 hours notice) at the mod team's discretion.

Bringing back the team from last year this time with April, whose OM credentials I don't need to list. I've managed successfully in both last year's OMPL and in Hackmons PL, and hopefully will do the same for this year's OMPL.

damflame has extensive knowledge of OMs and has achieved success in a very large majority of them. Winner of the most recent OM Homefield and the AAA ladder tour, damflame would be a formidable manager due to his ability to cover AAA, BH, Godly Gift, Peak, and MNM perfectly. He achieved a very good 3-2 record in MNMPL, and an impressive variety of tier players in OMCL, even if this led to an underperformance. damflame was there for his teammates to take on the difficult tiers and qualified for the playoffs. He went 4-2 during the HPL and went to top 4 of Bh seasonal . He won the OMPL last year, and even though damflame's record didn't reflect his efforts, he remained in the pool of death with extremely strong players and performed very well in Godly Gift and BH. Unfortunately, he was disadvantaged by the old MNM meta, which would make him an excellent support for the best-of-three slot this year Damflame also managed the French ompl and has historically always been there in the world cup with a good record. As for me, I've always had this desire to give my all in every tournament I play, especially in OMs, which led me to win the OMPL last year, finishing 3-4 (the pressure of the playoff games was too much for me, I think :( ). Unfortunately, I didn't play the AAAPL, but I finished 2-2 in SV BH during the HPL, contributing a lot to that slot. I made it to round 8 of the BH Seasonal. My experience in AAA and BH makes me an extremely solid support for each of my players. Even though I no longer play on the scene, I remain very attached to Stabmons and follow the meta very closely to give my best, which earned me a finalist spot in the ND Stabmons (although it wasn't Stabmons, it still shows my knowledge of Stabmons in general). Where I'll be best is definitely in the game management aspect. In my last 5 teams tours as manager, I've qualified for the playoffs 3 times, including one time where qualification came down to a single game, I also managed OMCL where i also tried my best and our team fought until the really last, sadly we couldn’t make it, but i think we could have done way better. I'm currently shadow managing the UMCL, and my team is only one tie away from qualifying, even though it's only the beginning of week 6. I'm not really asking my players for their feedback on my management, but here are some thank-you photos from them.





In general we think we are a really good pair with a lot of experience to give to our teams, a good pair to help almost every meta ( we will learn Camomons). And enough close to the community to end with a good draft. In theory our timezone would be bad for two managers but Execpt when we sleep we will be available for our players.

hizo and I worked well together last year and our players spoke very positively about our managing + I have a lot more time to dedicate this year :sphearical: hoping we'll be honored with another chance!

We have combined (as of writing this) over 200k message count in OM cord.
We also lead 2 tiers and hold a majority in council for one of them we will definitely not be corrupt in tiering unlike zastra.
We also will stop HiZo + Smudge and Sammy + Ivar from getting refills hopefully.
