So I was playing quite a bit of 5th Gen on PO, randomly battling and trying to raise my ranking. I ended using a team that's half Pokémon I really like, part testing new Pokémon, and part using reliable Pokémon I've used in the past.
In testing this team, I came across what I thought was a rather exciting battle, and I thought I'd share it since I want to try to be a bigger part of the Smogon Community than I have in the past.

Yeah, that's not really Scizor. That's SpecsZoroark, who seems to catch a huge amount of opponents off guard by pretending to be something that launches Physical Attacks. Anyway, having seen his time before hand, I thought that Scizor would be the 'worst' Pokemon to send out against Jirachi, so I maniupulated my line up to put Scizor last. And so, Jirachi thinks he's facing down Scizor and is about to be massively surprised.

That turn went as well as I could reasonably hope for. Jirachi has been removed and won't threaten Scizor's potential sweep and he reveals his Blissey. Since I'm trying to make the most of the new Ghost/Ground Pokémon, I realize that if Blissey tries to T-Wave me, it'll come in for free and force a switch, so I go it.

Rock Polish Goruggo seemed like an intuitive choice in the Team Builder. It has respectable attack and a very meh speed, which can be brought up with Rock Polish. Earthquake/Shadow Punch/Brick Break for Coverage, with SP getting boosted by Iron Fist. Anyway, seeing Latios makes me a bit scared. Nothing I have would feel comfortable coming in on Latios powerful attacks. While I could bring in Suicune, Latios probably has a move in the wings waiting to wreck it. And hey, I have a speedy ghost robot. Why not see how much Shadow Punch can do?

Up until this point, Goruggo had been pretty lackluster in battle, but at this moment, it managed to both survive Latios' Ice Beam (while unstabbed) and OHKO it back with a base 60 Power attack (albeit boosted with STAB and Iron Fist). At this point, I'm feeling pretty good about trying to wreak some havoc through the rest of my opponent's team...

I know that I should be afraid of Stone Edge, but Paraflinch Togekiss can take a +1 LO Adamant Gyarados Stone Edge and survive to Thunder Wave and Roost, so I thought it would be okay.

And I take the Thunder Wave, like I predicted. Since the appearance of a Physical Sweeper scared off Blissey last time, I take the opportunity to Swords Dance on the Switch. SD Scizor has caught many opponents off guard because they assume that I'm using the more common Choice Band version. So they switch to their CB Scizor check only to get Bullet Punched by an attack score well into the 700's, not counting the Life Orb. So I take my chance when I see it and go with Swords Dance.

It's at this point I'm feeling a lot less confident. That over 1000 Attack score was about to be turned on me in the worst possible way. But if I switched out, Scizor would be coming in with 25% of her health remaining. I decide to gamble it and try to Bullet Punch Machamp once and for all.

In hindsight, I could have brought Togekiss or Dragonite in here and either frightened Machamp out or tried to KO it, but I had too much faith in my 3 Calm Minds.

Note to self: Do Damage Calcs next time. I lose my last set up sweeper to confusion and mispredictions, but Machamp is well within Dragonite's KO range with ExtremeSpeed. LO Quiet Dragonite is listed as an Attacking Lead in the Smogon Dex for Fourth Gen, but as it also mentions, it's good for mid-game revenging and mixed sweeping. Finally, good night Machamp!

Ah, Dory. My Ancient Foe. My team used to be a lot more Dory-Weak before I put Goruggo on it, and even now I'm not sure how the team would fare against this Steel/Ground Mole. My remaining Pokémon are the frail Zoroark and my bulky Togekiss. But experience has shown me that Bulky Togekiss is 2HKO'd by Dory's Rock Slide and is slower, which means it wouldn't get a move off. I pondered sacrificing Zoroark so it could come in, but since Zoroark has been able to revenge foes really well in the past, I decide to just have Dragonite Fire Blast the mole, hoping that I don't get flinched and I hit the target.

That was just about as good as I could have hoped for. With Doryuuzu out of the way, it's two on three. And one of his is Blissey! But my last two Pokemon are Special Attackers. At this point I realize that there's really only one way I'll be able to win, and that's to force Blissey into a Stall War. I have Dragonite use one last move to weaken Blissey so that Togekiss can paralyze it safely while it wishes.

So Blissey plans to heal itself with Wish. Which is fine, since there's nothing I can really do about it, anyway. Here, I start Air Slashing and Roosting while Blissey tosses, Thunder Waves and Wishes. This part goes on for about ten turns, so I'll hide those. The only important things that go on are Togekiss getting Paralyzed by Thunder Wave twice, because of my Lum Berry.
I decide to change gears a little and use Aura Sphere, simply to stall for more turns.

I realize that I can't let it set up Butterfly Dances, and getting off even while I try to paralyze it one would mean I can't Flinch it into submission. My only other option would have been Roosing, since I had about 50%, but Togekiss doesn't have the bulk to withstand the Fire, not to mention being paralyzed. So I do the only thing I can: Go for the kill with Air Slash.

I'm assuming that my opponent miscounted the HP EVs they gave to Urgamoth and ended up only being able to make three subs instead of four. Either that, or the last Sub was simply a misclick. Either way, now my opponent is down to their last Pokémon. Zoroark waits in the wings, but I decide to simply go back to stalling Blissey out, since I have no other options that can bring victory.
This stall war will end up going on for 45 more turns, so I've hidden the bulk of them. I forget to Paralyze Blissey again until turn 56, and Blissey apparently runs out of PP for Seismic Toss around turn 66, but other than that, nothing interesting thing that happens until turn 80.
On Turn 81, Blissey's Wish came true and restored it to full health. I'm just gonna keep shooting Aura Spheres at it.

And I take the Thunder Wave, like I predicted. Since the appearance of a Physical Sweeper scared off Blissey last time, I take the opportunity to Swords Dance on the Switch. SD Scizor has caught many opponents off guard because they assume that I'm using the more common Choice Band version. So they switch to their CB Scizor check only to get Bullet Punched by an attack score well into the 700's, not counting the Life Orb. So I take my chance when I see it and go with Swords Dance.

Note to self: Do Damage Calcs next time. I lose my last set up sweeper to confusion and mispredictions, but Machamp is well within Dragonite's KO range with ExtremeSpeed. LO Quiet Dragonite is listed as an Attacking Lead in the Smogon Dex for Fourth Gen, but as it also mentions, it's good for mid-game revenging and mixed sweeping. Finally, good night Machamp!

Ah, Dory. My Ancient Foe. My team used to be a lot more Dory-Weak before I put Goruggo on it, and even now I'm not sure how the team would fare against this Steel/Ground Mole. My remaining Pokémon are the frail Zoroark and my bulky Togekiss. But experience has shown me that Bulky Togekiss is 2HKO'd by Dory's Rock Slide and is slower, which means it wouldn't get a move off. I pondered sacrificing Zoroark so it could come in, but since Zoroark has been able to revenge foes really well in the past, I decide to just have Dragonite Fire Blast the mole, hoping that I don't get flinched and I hit the target.

That was just about as good as I could have hoped for. With Doryuuzu out of the way, it's two on three. And one of his is Blissey! But my last two Pokemon are Special Attackers. At this point I realize that there's really only one way I'll be able to win, and that's to force Blissey into a Stall War. I have Dragonite use one last move to weaken Blissey so that Togekiss can paralyze it safely while it wishes.

I realize that I can't let it set up Butterfly Dances, and getting off even while I try to paralyze it one would mean I can't Flinch it into submission. My only other option would have been Roosing, since I had about 50%, but Togekiss doesn't have the bulk to withstand the Fire, not to mention being paralyzed. So I do the only thing I can: Go for the kill with Air Slash.

I'm assuming that my opponent miscounted the HP EVs they gave to Urgamoth and ended up only being able to make three subs instead of four. Either that, or the last Sub was simply a misclick. Either way, now my opponent is down to their last Pokémon. Zoroark waits in the wings, but I decide to simply go back to stalling Blissey out, since I have no other options that can bring victory.
This stall war will end up going on for 45 more turns, so I've hidden the bulk of them. I forget to Paralyze Blissey again until turn 56, and Blissey apparently runs out of PP for Seismic Toss around turn 66, but other than that, nothing interesting thing that happens until turn 80.
