One last Chance 4th Gen.

After months of testing, this team showed many good results. His win percentage is of 87%, which is great.

So Here´s the team:

Team At a Glance :

THE LEAD :

UXIE @Choice Scarf
Levitate
252 HP / 104 DEF / 152 Spe
Impish (+Def, -SpA)
-Trick
-Stealth Rock
-Thunder Wave
-U-Turn

This set is best used as a lead, where you can force many opposing Pokémon to switch out by Tricking them your Choice Scarf. Azelf, Ambipom, and Aerodactyl will most likely Taunt you, so using Trick on them will force them to switch. In this case, you are free to U-turn to a counter of the Pokémon they bring out. If you are not Taunted, you may set up your own Stealth Rock and proceed to U-turn or status the foe. Uxie also fares well against other leads, even those who will normally not Taunt you.
In OU play, 152 Speed EVs allows you to outspeed base 130s like Crobat and Aerodactyl while holding a Choice Scarf.

Vappy (VAPOREON) @Leftovers
Water Absorb
188HP/252DEf/68SpD
Bold (+Def,-Atk)
-Hidden Power [Electric]
-Protect
-Surf
-Wish

Vaporeon is among the few Pokemon who can claim to be a true bulky Water-type Pokemon of DPP OU. In a metagame rife with residual damage from sandstorm, entry hazards, and more, having a bulky Water-type Pokemon with the ability to pass Wish is invaluable to any team.
My Wish Passer. It have Excellent Synergy with Heatran , Scizor and Lucario. Its also my gyarados counter who causes alot of problems to the team.
Uxie and Scizor love this guy becouse they dont have recovery moves and with wish they gain 50 % of Hp.

SteelWolf (LUCARIO) @Life Orb
Inner Focus
4HP/252Atk/252Adamant
Adamant (+Atk,-SpA)
-Swords Dance
-Close Combat
-ExtremeSpeed
-Crunch

When Gengar is gone This thing is unnestopable.
With one turn of setup, a 120 Base Power STAB attack, and one of the strongest priority moves available, Swords Dance Lucario is arguably the best late-game sweeper in OU. After a Swords Dance, even defensive Skarmory is OHKOed by Close Combat, assuming Stealth Rock damage and an Adamant nature. Meanwhile, many of the Pokémon who are faster than Lucario are frail enough to be OHKOed by ExtremeSpeed after a Swords Dance.
Adamant Nature for more power and for KO Starmie with ExtremeSpeed.

GENGAR @Black Sludge
Levitate
4Def/252SpA/252Spe
Timid (+Speed, -Atk)
-Hypnosis
-Substitue
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast

Great Synergy with Heatran And Lucario.
Since Gengar's excellent type coverage forces a lot of switches, it can use Substitute to great effect. It helps deal with Tyranitar and Scizor, two of Gengar's greatest nemeses, by scouting the switch and letting Gengar hit them with the appropriate 4x super effective attack. Substitute is especially important given the popularity of Choice Scarf Tyranitar, which would otherwise be able to pick off Gengar with near impunity. It also allows Gengar to evade status such as Celebi and Blissey's Thunder Wave. Shadow Ball and Focus Blast give Gengar the unresisted Ghost / Fighting coverage.Hypnosis For put to sleep the counter they bring on the switch.

Mr.Krabs (SCIZOR) @Choice Band
Technician
248HP/252Atk/8Spe
Adamant (+Atk,-SpA)
-Bullet Punch
-U-Turn
-Pursuit
-SuperPower

My Gengar counter (the big problem for lucario), my Revenge Killer , and my Scouter.
Choice Band Scizor's massive 591 Attack, combined with STAB U-turn and priority in the form of Technician Bullet Punch, makes it one of the best revenge killers and scouts in the entire metagame. Factor in 70 / 100 / 80 defenses and its 10 resistances, and it is clear why Choice Band Scizor makes a fantastic tank in the OU metagame.

HEATRAN @Leftovers
Flash Fire
4HP/252SpA/252Spe
Timid (+Spe,-Atk)
-Substitute
-FireBlast
-Earth Power
-HP Ice

Great synergy with Scizor. This is my best counter for ScarfTran another nemesis for Luke.
Heatran is one of the best Pokemon at forcing switches in the game. Because of this, Substitute is a great move choice, as it eliminates the guesswork often needed to nail his switch-ins. Fire Blast and Earth Power provide respectable coverage.
Hidden Power Ice , For the common switch Dragonite and flygon.

A final View :

Rate Plz.

This is a small suggestion: use Dragon Pulse over Hidden Power Ice on Heatran; it still KOs Dragonite and Flygon after Stealth Rock, but has the added benefit of hitting Kingdra for super effective damage! Good Luck:)

electivire which commonly has earthquake,flamethrower/fireblast, and thunderbolt can really mess up everything on your team except gengar and uxie the same goes for mixed infernape. You should change your heatran's item to choice scarf and replace substitute with dragon pulse, becuase you lack a revenge killer to take care of these threats it also works well with your current ev spread. Everything else looks pretty good.

Ok, way to copy all the descriptions straight from the Smogondex :P Aside from that, I have a couple of changes to suggest. First, try using a Jolly nature on Lucario. This will help you out greatly against opposing Lucario and non-Scarf Timid Rotom-A, who would otherwise be problematic to deal with. Also, LO Starmie and Offensive Suicune are really big threats to this team. To fix this issue, I would recommend using PasshoTran over your current Heatran set.

Heatran @ Passho Berry
Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Mild (+SpA, -Def)
EVs: 36 HP / 252 SpA / 220 Spe
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power Grass
- Explosion[/box]
This should help you out a lot against those troublesome Water-types. Passho Berry allows Heatran to survive just about any Water attack in OU, so that it can retaliate with either Explosion or HP Grass. Other than that, Heatran manages to hit really hard with the given EVs and a Mild nature, giving you a very solid and reliable attacker.

Good luck!

I got your PM-- I will try to be as useful as possible to you, considering that I haven't played IVth gen OU in . . . well since summer at least. D:>

I have tried to keep my RMT's to Vth gen . . .

Hearing about problem pokemon in your own experience would be a big help considering I don't really know (or remember if things haven't changed) what the biggest threats are right now.

Just looking over things, it looks really solid. It seems you have a good game plan, and good synergy between team members.

The only "Huh?" I have to mention is Gengar's Hypnosis. 60% acc. moves are not all that great in laddering, especially on a pokemon with defenses as pitiful as Gengar's.

My suggestion would be to replace Hypnosis with Pain Split. You can read Gengar's analysis to find out about the brilliance that is Sub-Split Gengar. Not that you need another F-U to Blissey with Luke and Scizor around, but it's always nice, and sub-split is probably one of Gengar's best possible sets.

for ur gengar u might want to change to subsplit gengar (just remove hypnosis for pain split)
although sleep is powerful, but hypnosis has poor accuracy, making it unrealiable. meanwhile, pain split allows u to deal more effectively with blissey. altho luke/scizor can scare her out, but beware switching into a t-wave/flamethrower.

anyway, sometimes, i do let my ghost (rotom in my case) to get pursuit to death by scarftar. then i switch in luke to get free setup. this ensure that u win the game most of the time since theres only a few pokes that can stop luke.

one of them is ape, which kills luke wif mach punch (since xtreme speed is still +1 priority in gen 4, ape outspeeds) I noe vappy is a good counter, but it is still 2hkoed by cc. scizor can kill it with bullet pawnch but cant switch in directly, meaning ull almost always lose a poke to take down ape.

this can be remedied wif a scarftran, which always outspeeds n ohkos with earth power. scenario: ape switch into scizor. u switch to tran n get flash fire boost. if ape doesnt switch, he dies.
scarftran also outspeeds celebi n shaymin n ohkos 1st so i believe its a good addition to ur team.

I agree with Scarf Heatran. Either way, HP grass is more useful than HP Ice or Dragon Pulse, because Scarfed Flygon will outspeed and OHKO, so there's no point countering it. Grass will help you take out Swampert and Hippowdon, which I think is more important given that the rest of your team doesn't threaten them much.

You should Scarf Scizor so that you can outrun Rotom-H and Gengar in case they're running Overheat/HP Fire, especially since your priority is scouting and revenge killing, not outright sweeping. LO Starmie outspeeds and destroys virtually everything, so you want Scarf so you can nail it with a quick U-turn before it can attack.

I think you should run Destiny Bond over Hypnosis on Gengar, since it's probably the best move ever. SubSplit Gengar with DBond will annoy and kill. Virtually guaranteed.

I got your PM. Previous raters have pretty much given my thoughts already. Use Pain Split over Hypnosis on Gengar as it will help you fight stall a bit. Use Timid on Lucario. Use the Heatran set that Faladran recommended. The only other thing I can think of is Vaporeon. Your team is quite offensive, and being a defensive water type, Vaporeon doesn't really seem to fit the team that well. I think that an Offensive Suicune can help you out more.

Suicune @ Leftovers
Timid
4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Speed
Calm Mind
HydroPump
Ice Beam
Hidden Power Electric.

Hope I helped out and good luck. (Also, write your own descriptions and don't just copy/paste from the Smogon analysis. Tell us WHY you choose each one, and don't just describe what it can do).

You should change your heatran's item to choice scarf and replace substitute with dragon pulse, becuase you lack a revenge killer to take care of these threats it also works well with your current ev spread. Everything else looks pretty good.

And change HP Ice to Explosion, and run Naive.

Make the changes everyone else said, and it looks good.

Rating upon request of the OP. Hi there, this seems to be a nice team you have here as the general strategy and structure of your team is passably solid. The synergy your Pokemon share amongst each other is also pretty decent; however, I see a couple of Pokemon which will undoubtedly cause problems for your team. I see stall teams being a nuisance if they can set up; to help with this I suggest you replace you current Gengar variant with the substitute pain split one, as this will immensely help against stall-orientated teams. Next up, as Faladran said, bulky water types will prove to be large threats so I'll be seconding his suggestion about passho berry Heatran. Lastly, I would like to recommend a lead change; Uxie seems to be quite pointless on this team as it becomes useless mid-game seeing as your team is generally offensively orientated. I suggest replacing it with another lead which can not only set up stealth rock but prove to be useful later in the game as well; Metagross or even Aerodactyle would be great choices, in my opinion. I hope this rate has helped, and good luck!

I really doubt a super-scary E-vire can do much damage to this team
