Why do you think he’s town?
 
I don’t think Hal has done anything alignment indicative yet, beyond trying to vote the afks which was towny but then he backed off it before it amounted to anything so lost all his town points for it

that's a valid pov i guess but i also am considering what hal's said rather than only what he's done which lead me to townread him

Yeah but Hal is one of the most experienced people in the game and (no offense) knows that it is optimal, so it’s towny for him

Whether you want to take for a fact or not what we say is fine it’s your first game so you don’t know yet, Hal does so his stances matter a lot more than less experienced people and he has to live up to expectations because of that

The game is less afk now so it has nulled out but in the moment when he was trying to push afks he was town siding hard knowing he was doing so, so it was towny, but it’s nulled out now

he might be trying to conceal his win condition with the excuse that “its optimal for town” and we waste alot of time voting out possible threats while we vote innocent people with the mindset that “its a good strat”

This is true but you can say the same anytime anyone helps town win, so sometimes you have to just take someone down siding as more likely to be town than mafia

This is kinda of valid and I see the vision but also probably not lol, given most of the playerlist doesn’t understand the logic of why you must eliminate afks never mind punish a player for not doing so, based on his experience

But it doesn’t matter too much now anyways we have probably spent too much time on it, cause ultimately it never stuck till an eod or even second half of a day which makes the associated towny point gain low if existent

I think this confirms my “cary is playing dumb” theory. He doesn’t know how to fool the town and by posting, he purposefully puts himself at a disadvantage. So what does cary do to continue his misdeeds? He posts nothing burgers of texts.
