It's an evil pest. It's a living migraine! No, it's "n00bjask"!
Some trainers back in Advance and even now in D/P use this very annoying Ninjask. The plan usually works like this: Ninjask uses Substitute, and the opponent attacks. Likely the sub gets broken while Ninjask, who automatically Speed Boosts, is untouched. Next turn, Ninjask Protects itself from the opponent's attack. If the Sub was broken, Ninjask puts up a new one on turn 3. Ninjask Protects again. If the sub was broken again, Ninjask puts up a third one. Another Protect, and at this point, after three subs, Ninjask only has 25% of its max HP left. However, it's been six turns, so Ninjask now has max speed. And what happens then? Ninjask Passes that 4x speed bonus to another Pokemon, probably a sweeper that will send your Pokemon flying into their Poke Balls harder than a corked baseball bat (and 4 times as fast). You never know what hit you.
What are your thoughts and opinions on this strategy?
I think this is a very cheap strategy, personally. It probably frustrates many new players because they can't touch Ninjask. However, it is probably counterable with Ice Shard and/or Haze.
