Alomomola @ Eject Button
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 36 HP / 220 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Toxic
- Scald

Alomomola offers strong support to its teammates in ORAS OU due to its game-changing ability: Regenerator. In addition to helping scout attacks from wallbreakers it can soft-check like Weavile, Mega Metagross, and Mega Lopunny, Regenerator also gives it more chances to pass a large Wish, courtesy of its high HP stat, to one of its teammates. Eject Button further helps it transfer its bulk into offensive momentum, giving one of its teammates a free switch and solving some of its problems with passivity. It can also be used to safely trap foes with Magnezone or Pursuit Weavile. Scald and Toxic force out most physical attackers with the threat of status. Eject Button Alomomola fits best on bulky offensive teams that benefit from the momentum, defensive utility, and Wish support it offers. However, it doesn't come without its own share of flaws. Compared to other defensive Water-types, mainly Rotom-Wash and sometimes Slowbro and Gastrodon, Alomomola fails to defensively answer some of the more polarizing offensive presences in the tier, like Heatran, Gliscor, and Mega Medicham. Furthermore, after its Eject Button is consumed, it becomes a very passive and predictable wall.

Alomomola offers strong support to its teammates in ORAS OU revolving around due to its game-changing ability: (comma->colon) Regenerator. In addition to helping scout attacks from wallbreakers it can soft-check like Weavile, Mega Metagross, and Mega Lopunny, Regenerator also gives it more chances to pass a healthy large (healthy feels out of place in this context) Wish, courtesy of its high HP stat, to one of its teammates. Eject Button can further helps it transfer its defense bulk into offensive momentum, giving one of its teammates a free switch and solving some of its problems with passivity. It can also be used to safely trap using foes with Magnezone or Pursuit Weavile. Scald and Toxic spread status across the tier and force out most of the physical attackers it checks with the threat of status. (I think it was a bit awkwardly worded, particularly in reference to "across the tier". Hopefully this does not change the meaning of the sentence too much; if so, PM me and we can make a better one) Eject Button Alomomola fits best on bulky offensive teams that benefit from the momentum, defensive utility, and Wish support it offers. However, it doesn't come without its own share of flaws. Compared to other defensive Water-types, mainly Rotom-Wash (remove comma) or and sometimes Slowbro or and Gastrodon, it Alomomola fails to defensively answer some of the more polarizing offensive presences in the tier, like Heatran, Gliscor, and Mega Medicham. After Furthermore, after its Eject Button is consumed, it becomes more of a very (I think this gets your point across better) passive and predictable wall.
