Thundurus @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast

This is the first Pokemon that I chose because I wanted one of the best Special Attackers in OU. He is also my only Special Attacker. Nasty Plot is for boosting. Hidden Power Ice is for the multiple Pokemon like Gliscor who are 4X weak to Ice and the occasional Grass Type. Thunderbolt is for hard hitiing accurate stab, and Focus Blast instead of T-Wave because of Pokemon like Ferrothorn or anything that I can't hit with T-Bolt or Hidden Power.

Metagross @ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Hone Claws
- Earthquake

I already had a special sweeper so I wanted a physical sweeper and here he is. The EVs may look strange but Mega Metagross's Speed is base 110. With an attack 5 points away from Rayquaza's combined with its Over Average speed, I couldn't resist making it a sweeper. Hone Claws boosts attack and accuracy which is a nice bonus, considering Meteor Mash and Zen Headbutt have a chance of missing. Meteor Mash and Zen Headbutt are for good STAB, and Earthquake is for coverage.

Azumarill @ Assault Vest Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Knock Off Superpower
- Play Rough

Azumarill is probably one of the best bulky physical attackers in OU so I chose him. I don't like Choice Band Azu at ALL, so I wanted to use AS to make it even more bulky. I decided that using what works best is better than what I like so I removed my Azu's AV and gave it a Choice Band instead. Waterfall and Play Rough are for STAB, Aqua Jet is for priority and picking off weaker Pokemon. Knock Off is VERY useful for (almost severely) hindering any Pokemon I come up against that I can't kill as fast I replaced Knock Off for Superpower because I'm obviously not wanting to get locked into Knock Off and it can get rid of pesky steel types like Heatran. All on top of having great defenses.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Knock Off

This is a defensive Landorus-T for my first defensive Pokemon. Landorus-T is a great Pokemon for Stealth Rock so I gave him Stealth Rock. EQ is for STAB, U-Turn is for offensive momentum, and Knock Off is VERY useful for (almost severely) hindering any Pokemon I come up against that I can't kill as fast, making it easier for most of my Pokemon to do their job. Also: I decided to get rid of SR because like Der Twist said, hazards aren't doing much for this team. Also I can keep my rock type coverage in with stone edge. And by the way, Stone Edge or Rock Slide? (Accuracy or Power?)

233.gif

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Thunder Wave

This is a Specially Defensive Porygon2 because my team lacked a special defender. Porygon2 is great at Thunder Waving Pokemon that love to sweep, and kinda prevents other Pokemon from doing as they please. Thunderbolt and Ice Beam together have some nice coverage, and Ice Beam is especially helpful for catching Pokemon 4X weak to Ice (like Lando, Lando-T, and Gliscor to name a few) off guard. And Recover is to make sure I don't lose him: after all, he does hinder sweeping Pokemon.

598.gif

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Spikes Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip
- Protect

Ferrothorn is my last slot for my team because it has few weaknesses, and can easily be a big nuisance to the enemy team. I chose Spikes over SR because my Lando-T already has SR, and Leech Seed and Protect with great defenses are a nice combo. Honestly I chose Power Whip over Gyro Ball because if you give it Gyro Ball, those damn water types (mainly Rotom-W) REALLY get in the way, leaving you nothing to hit them with. Also: I decided to get rid of Spikes because like Der Twist said, hazards aren't doing much for this team.

Some Extra Comments

I like this team alot because it is half offense, half defense, is good for some support, and my team members easily cover each other's weaknesses. This is one of my better teams which is why I chose this one to be rated. Also, if you're going to tell me to use this Pokemon instead of that one, please remember that I want to keep this team half defense and half offense. Thank you for reading my RMT and over all have a good one.

Hmm your team looks good but some of the moves you use are sub-par. Like there is no point in running hone claws on metagross. It would be better to run grass knot or hammer arm instead. These moves let you KO important threats like Slowbro or Ferrothorn /heatran which would otherwise completely wall megagross. Also you are not abusing thunderus's prankster. Thanks to prankster Twave, you can cripple fast Pokemon like Mega Lopunny and other pokes which would actually run through the team without any problems. If you use T-wave on thunderus, then change Twave on porygon to toxic. Superpower is.better than knock off on Azu imo as it is a hard counter to the annoying steel types. Another point regarding Azu would be to change AV to Band. This gives much more power to priority Aqua Jet and help net some crucial KOs. Your Ferrothorn has a Sassy Nature without gyro ball. I mean that doesn't make any sense. Either change the nature to Careful/Impish or run Gyro Ball over protect.

Hope I helped

I actually have a very similar team to this and understands the concepts. You can look at it here. Anyways I agree with Disciple_1 in alot of areas. First off you really should have T-wave on thundurus. You can also run taunt to screw over stealth rock leads. If you did visit my page you noticed my primary special sweeper is chandelure. But since I noticed you have problems with water types I would recommend contrary serperior which I actually later replaced breloom for. If you do add so, would replace ferro. Another option in place for hone claws is ice punch. Also consider running belly drum azu as it would really benefit your cause.
Good Luck.

Nice team but it seems to have a few loose ends that could be tied up. Firstly, not all that keen on the idea of Thundy without Defog support, I'm not opposed the the NP sweeper set you're running because it is a damn good set, but it's hindered pretty annoyingly with the threat of Rocks. This team is also neither offensive nor defensive enough to really make use of hazard stacking imo, it doesn't apply enough pressure to opponents to keep them from clearing hazards or really makes enough use of them to help crack through opponents, it's also not full stall which does well with hazard support for extra damage so it doesn't rely on sneezing on opponents till they faint. You get my point, no reason not to run hazard support. Or you could run some alternate Electric type like Sub CM Raikou if you really want. Anyway, I'd advise replacing Porygon 2 with Latias, you have enough bulk on your team in three defensive mons and an AV Azu, you're fine without P2 which really doesn't seem to fit this team exceptionally well imo. Latias also has Healing Wish support for your wall breakers should you want it, resetting your Metagross or Azu so they can put in work all over again seems like a good bet to me.
On the topic of Metagross, Hone Claws is mediocre, it's a poor form of set-up and you're better off loading it with coverage to effectively break walls. Replace EQ with Hammer Arm to better handle Ferro who can be the bane of this team, and run either Ice Punch or Grass Knot to handle Gliscor and Lando switch-ins or fat Water switch ins.
Run Gyro Ball over Spikes on Ferro, one of the best things about that set you're running is its ability to handle Mega Gard, it's the universal Take a Hyper Voice and Focus Blast and KO with Gyro Ball set, but it stops being that without the Gyro Ball. Overall, Ferro is best with Gyro Ball.
You could do with a good Rock STAB on Landorus to help with Birdspam over Knock Off since you already have Knock Off support on Azu. I'd say Rock Tomb, it helps force switches and lessen the effectiveness of direct threats in against you to take momentum too.
Lastly, EV and IV spreads. Standard AV Azu runs EVs: 16 HP / 252 Atk / 240 SpD to minimise entry hazard damage and maximise special bulk. On the topic of entry hazard damage, make sure your EV spreads leave you with an odd number of HP to let you switch into Rocks more often. Minimise the Atk IVs of your special attackers to minimise confusion and Foul Play damage and set your Ferro's Spe IVs to 0 to maximise Gyro Ball power.
Hope this helped.
