Resource ORAS OU Simple Questions, Simple Answers MKII (Read the OP First!) (Now with 100% more Rules!!!)

My Nasty pass mega Diancie team has been running into some trouble recently. Raikou (Specifcally calm mind) and Serperior have been troubling me and aside from resorting to scarf latias I cant come up with an answer that also recieves 2+BP well. Any ideas or pokemon that would benefit the team and check those 2?

You could probably get away with running Scarf Heatran or Kyurem-B in order to check those two. Scarfers generally aren't very good BP recipients, seeing as you can't switch moves in order to abuse your boosts, so could be better to just run a physical scarfer and ignore the BP synergy, depending on what other targets your team needs this scarfer to hit.

Volcarona can receive passes quite well, can boost along Raikou and hit behind a Sub with Bug Buzz. Also takes on Serperior quite well by virtue of 4x resisting Leaf Storm. If you are using Celebi as your NP passer you should have no problem beating either with +2 Psychic

Your right. It's actually why I ignored magnezone and latias as scarfers. Because there stabs are to exploitable. Anyway if I'm gonna go physical which would work better Bandzor, scarf kyub or something else?

Volcarona actually sounds like a nice idea....just that 4x rock weakness but otherwise it works nicely. My celebi use' giga drain/ t-wave/ bp/ nasty plot

Rather than Scarf, maybe Sub Kyub could work. Decently bulky, and can hide behind the Subs while the Pass makes up the lack of LO power. Just make sure fast things like Serperior are Paralyzed in case of boosted Dragon Pulse, while he eats a lot of Raikou's attacks and has mixed power in case of any other CM sweepers slipping the mind.

This is assuming Volcarona doesn't work as well as you like.

I saw sun talk.

Sun isn't completely unseen nowadays; however, successful sun builds are almost always limited to Zard-Y+Venu+T-Tar+Exca+Duggy+Filler, making it insanely formulaic (moreso than other weather archetypes like sand offense and rain) outside of the odd non-Duggy build, and the stacked weaknesses that AM mentioned really don't help its cause either. Basically, full sun died alongside permaweather due Zard Y being unable to hold heat rock, ninetales being ass (although I've seen one or two okay Ninetales builds) and all of the usable Chlorophyll users (in a vacuum, these are Venu, Victreebel and Sawsbuck) being Grass-type, which exasparates existing weaknesses of the playstyle (namely Talonflame and Heatran). It is just really matchup dependent and won't work consistently v.s. a lot of builds.

Kinda getting into "if a tree falls in a forest..."-type discussion, but... if a team has a sun setter, and a sun sweeper, and a sand setter, and a sand sweeper, can it really be called a sun team? :?

Well, full sun, it seems, is dead. Also, hopefully that filler is a secondary Water check, because if Venu goes down, Keldeo pretty much sweeps.

Could Gliscor work as a SR Setter for Offensive Teams? It isn't nearly as passive as Hippo since it can gain momentum with U-Turn while still having viable recovery and possibly Knock Off as well.
It could, buy its only advantage over Landorus-T would be Poison Heal(this is not possible if you run defog tho) because landorus gets a bigger attack while having Intimidate

uh just gonna ignore the pretty subjective answers here and say yes seeing as Ive done so and the other comments sound like a bunch of theorymon lol.

Thats works to. Means a few more mindgames but it works. Thank you :). THanks everyone for the suggestions

Time to fix the team

Sub NP Hoopa-C imo is the one of the best stallbreakers available, because it uses Chansey as set up fodder and can't be trapped by Gothitelle.

What is the best partner for Poison Heal Breloom, that is a Mega Evolution?
CharX imo, Breloom checks sand rush Excadrill which is a huge problem for CharX and takes out bulky waters and grounds such as Hippowdon and Quagsire, and Heatran, and can also put to sleep any other annoying mons. In return CharX takes out steels, fire type, grass types - stuff like Talonflame, Scizor, Volcarona, Celebi that trouble Breloom.

Edit - try life orb technician Breloom too which is actually really good, mach punch and bullet seed are stupidly powerful and breaks through CharX's checks easier :)
Do you need 304 HP or 305 HP to make 76 HP subs?
304 will make 76 HP subs (and 3 subs will then bring you into berry range), but 305 will let you make 4 76 HP subs without dying.
