:muk::probopass::leafeon::vullaby::clefairy::mr-mime:
The team is incredibly standard for supporting a Curse Muk sweep. Probopass can trap most Steel-types that completely wall Muk, which serves as the team's main wincon since it can beat just about anything else after a few curses. Leafeon provides some wallbreaking while also checking Golem and other Ground-types with Synthesis to stay healthy for longer games, and Scarf Mime revenge kills threats like Monferno and NP Chatot. The team is supported by a Clefairy/Vullaby backbone, which can be incredibly difficult to break through with Muk support.

Muk + Articuno by false
:articuno::muk::probopass::lumineon::grumpig::leafeon:
A very standard but effective use of the very tough to break through Muk+Articuno core. After the two titular Pokemon, Probopass provides Stealth Rock support and traps troubling Steel-types like Pawniard, Lumineon keeps entry hazards off the field for Articuno, Grumpig provides some Speed control and keeps Fire-types like Monferno in check, and Leafeon rounds out the team with some offensive presence and the ability to take on most Ground-types that threaten Muk.
Rotom-Fan Bulky Offense by RawMelon
:rotom-fan::prinplup::golem::rapidash::bouffalant::mr-mime:
Rotom-S is the focal point of this team. Rotom-S checks man common threats in the meta such as Monferno, Cacturne, Leafeon, Pawniard, and the list continues. Prinplup serves multiple purposes such as necessary hazard control, a water check, and a Golem check. I gave it Signal beam to bop Cacturne which usually gets in for free on Prin. Together with Rotom and Golem the 3 can check the majority of physical mons in the tier. The team overall somewhat struggles with special attackers but this is somewhat mitigated by the offensive nature of the team and the many type immunities and resists the team possesses. Choice Band Golem serves as the teams wallbreaker, normal check, and electric. CB Golem works nicely with both Rapidash and SD Boufflant. What makes this trio especially effective is that most Golem checks (except Gourgeist) such as Prinplup, Tangela, and Leafeon are set up on by SD Bouff. Rapidash helps CB Golem handle grass types and serves as another Cacturne check for the team. Not to mention Rapidash is solid in this meta anyways. Mr.Mime is standard but I chose Trick > Focus Blast to help with the stall matchup and to help with annoying mons like Clef and Duo.
Monferno Offense by 2xTheTap
:mr-mime::dusknoir::monferno::rotom-frost::golem::leafeon:
This team is pretty fun, and can be variable if you fine tune it to fit your preferences (more on this at the end of the description).

Mr. Mime setting up a Future Sight will do one of two things: 1) bring in fat Psychic types, which you can then Pursuit trap with Dusknoir. Bringing in Grumpig for example will weaken it significantly, at which point you've removed your opponent's defensive answer to Rotom-F and Monferno.

Or 2), it'll bring in Dark types to absorb the Future Sight - if you predict this, you can easily Dazzling Gleam on the switch, or even just switch to Monferno and threaten them out as you gain initiative to Swords Dance. Bringing in Dark types like this relieves a lot of the pressure from Dusknoir; in return for keeping Dusknoir alive, Dusknoir will pressure the hell out of Grumpig, Stunfisk, and Altaria for Monferno with its Ghost STAB/Pursuit, Earthquake, and Ice Punch, respectively (it also has enough Speed for base 50s like Metang, as well as a LO number in HP with that spread). Pursuit + Sneak is also hugely important for hitting Ninjask here, which can be a threat if Golem is down and Leafeon isn't healthy enough to Sunny Day + Knock Off.

Golem stops Volt Switch, sets up SR, and often just threatens other teams by itself early-game, but if Golem is fainted early on, the team has two other forms of priority in addition to Golem's own Sucker Punch to take on faster threats like Zebstrika and Rotom-F (i.e. Dusknoir's Shadow Sneak and Monferno's Mach Punch).

Leafeon does several things on this team: it's your primary Ground resist, Floatzel check (has Yache for that), can reset weather vs Sand and Rain teams thanks to Yache and Sunny Day, cleans up late game with the Speed gained from Chlorophyll, and weakens Vullaby for Dusknoir and Monferno by bringing it in and removing its Eviolite via Knock Off. Toxic is an option over Sunny Day to weaken stuff like Gourgeist-Super and Vullaby further, but having a late game cleaner that's faster than any Scarfer (and Ninjask) is actually pretty reliable, even if the set looks weird. Sunny Day boosting Synthesis's recovery and powering up Monferno's Flare Blitz to the point +2 Flare Blitz can OHKO Stunfisk after Rocks are great bonuses too. Other Grass-types work well in that last slot, so long as they resist Ground, but I think Yache Leafeon is best here.

Optionally, you can change your Scarfer to throw off opponents: change Rotom-F to SubWisp and Mime to Scarf in that case, so if you want to use this Sample more than once against the same opponent, change it up a little between rounds. If you find the way in which Future Sight lures in certain Pokemon to be unreliable, Nasty Plot sets that bluff a Choice set or even Specs sets are quite usable here, alternatively.
Scarf Dodrio Balance by 2xTheTap
:leafeon::dodrio::grumpig::lumineon::zebstrika::golem:
I wanted to build a balance team that addressed a large portion of the meta's most prominent threats, so I ended up with this configuration as a result.

Leafeon functions as the team's primary Ground resist, secondary switchin to physical Water-types like Floatzel if Lumineon is down, Stallbreaker (especially if you use Lum over LO to get an extra hit on Geist-XL), a Monferno lure (+2 LO AA OHKOes any variant of Monferno, save for the rare physically defensive variant), and is used to break down Stealth Rockers like Stunfisk and Golem for Dodrio's sake.

I have a core of Golem + Lumineon + Grumpig handling threats central to the meta such as Adamant SD Monferno, Rotom-F, Dodrio, Stoutland, Floatzel, RP Regice, etc., with a faster offensive Colbur Grumpig using its Speed and item to help its teammates by hitting Machoke, Pawniard, and Adamant Arbok too.

12 Spe EVs allow Lumineon to outspeed Pawniard to burn it with Scald, and offensive Roselia by 1 point; this lets it U-Turn on offensive Roselia into Sap Sipper Zeb in order to take those predictable Leaf Storms / Giga Drains if necessary. Protect and Toxic should both be present on this team, so you can choose where to place each move (both easily fit on Golem and Lumineon). If you use Protect on Lumineon, it's also awesome for avoiding Golem's Explosion (albeit WP Sucker Punch is more common than Custap Explosion currently), while easing prediction against Rotom-F and other Scarfers like Simisage / Simipour.

Zebstrika helps complete that balance core by taking on Grass-types that would otherwise man-handle Golem + Lumineon (think Roselia, Jumpluff, etc.), checking Floatzel, and forming a momentum core with Lumineon's slower U-Turn with its faster Volt Switch that, in turn, allows you to pivot into Leafeon more easily for a sweep.

Scarf Dodrio cleans and is faster than the majority of the meta, just save for things like Agility Kingler, Scarf Modest Floatzel, and Scarf Simis. It functions as a secondary Sleep Absorb thanks to Early Bird (the first being Sap Sipper Zeb for Sleep Powders), and its Knock Off is useful for breaking down Eviolite users while its Pursuit is helpful for getting chip damage on other Grumpig and Roselia (and even weaker Pokemon like Kadabra and Cryogonal when your opponent is aware Dodrio is Scarfed). Lumineon's Defog is important for allowing Dodrio to come in multiple times, especially because Brave Bird recoil + SR damage can add up over time.

Finally, I slashed Protect for Golem to help with predicting which attacks Stoutland and Rotom-F will be using (Superpower or Frustration, and Electric STABs or Blizzard, respectively), and for extra turns of recovery via Leftovers. If you use Protect on Lumineon, you should use Toxic on Golem for hitting Grass-types like Gourgeist-XL, Gogoat, and Leafeon on the switch once SR has been set up. Golem's spread is unique, and 32 Atk EVs OHKO Pawniard 100% of the time with Earthquake, 16 EVs in Def + Impish give it a jump point in Defense (and that extra defense from Impish lets Golem avoid the 2HKO from Pawniard's Iron Head), 4 Speed outruns other neutral-natured, uninvested base 45s, while the rest of its EVs maximize HP and SpDef. Enjoy!
Crustle Spikes HO by @g
:crustle::misdreavus::stoutland::monferno::electrode::floatzel:
Team is as standard as it gets but was lacking and uses Crustle fairly well (went 19-1 on the ladder if you care). Built around breaking stuff with Stoutland and cleaning with Electrode/Floatzel, uses well Monferno's ability to weaken Stunfisk and Water-types and Stoutland's tendency to lure in bulky grounds. Ice Punch Floatzel also has nice synergy with Electrode. You can replace Ice Beam if you want to but it works fine in my opinion and i like the better hit on Tangela, Quilladin, Leafeon, etc.
SD Monferno Balance by RawMelon
:monferno::grumpig::rotom-frost::bouffalant::golem::floatzel:
The lack of Monferno in these sample teams is disturbing, so let’s change that! Monferno fills so many useful roles on offensive natured teams that it’s hard not to use it. It checks dangerous mons like Mightyena and Pawniard, gives the team some priority and can act as a late game wincon. This is so splashable because it’s guaranteed to put in work each and every game and forces the opponent to play in very obvious ways so that they don’t lose to this. Ferno is so good some might call it a crutch...

Colbur Berry Grumpig was chosen as blanket check for many of the mons gaining popularity in PU such as Machoke, Roselia, Rotom-F, Monferno, and Mr.Mime. Taunt is great utility for slower-natured bulky teams you’ll often find on ladder and makes it hard for stall to function. This is just the standard set and not much explanation is really needed. This synergizes with Monferno which beats most dark types that would otherwise trouble pig. Pig also can take on opposing Monferno and Machoke which helps Boufflant and Golem, respectively.

SubWisp Rotom-F is really good against ladder and you’ll find that with a sub up you can sometimes just win or take down multiple mons and make it easy for Floatzel and Ferno to clean up. Self-explanatory really.

AV Boufflant is another one of those mons I use on bulky offense often, especially when I’m using Monferno! Checks pretty much every special attacker and traps psychics such as Grumpig, Mr. Mime and Kadabra so that Monferno can potentially sweep. This team lacks a solid water switch-in so use this wisely try to pursuit trap a Floatzel, Basculin or Simipour trying to get out. Facade is cool to switch into scalds without fearing burns.
Edit: Forgot that I mostly ran Facade to help with SubWisp Rotom-F as well

Golem is the best offensive rocker and is useful as an electric, flying, and normal resist. Also gives the team some priority which is always useful.

I chose Floatzel as the team’s scarfer because it can act as a water check if need be while still cleaning very effectively.

Also so this doesn't get taken down here's some random stuff!

:rotom-frost::rotom-frost::rotom-frost:

Some VR thoughts:
:lumineon: Don't you dare lower this mon to B+. I love this mon since even though it may not have the secondary typing and recovery of Pelipper it isn't at least isn't weak to Rocks and is fast enough to creep cacturne. Also people should be running Impish>Bold on Lumineon since it gives it a chance to OHKO -Def Cacturne with U-turn.
0 Atk Lumineon U-turn vs. 0 HP / 0- Def Cacturne: 252-300 (89.6 - 106.7%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO
:floatzel: This mon was the only S-rank mon when I first joined PU. Even though A+ now, don't drop it to A cuz personal bias.
:zebstrika: I was always confused why this mon fell off so hard. I know Floatzel, it's supposed main target, has also fallen off, but that combination of Speed+immunites+coverage makes it still very threatening.
:seaking: This was ranked before, and IDK when it was taken off, but I think it's niche enough simply for Frostom to be somewhere in C. While maybe worse than Chinchou, I think stuff like Knock Off differentiates it enough.

:floatzel::floatzel::floatzel:

Natural Gift is underexplored. I like to call it somewhat of a physical equivalent to Hidden Power, at least in that it can give a lotta mons surprise coverage in any type. While the super-effective berries are consistent at 80bp and their respective types, I like to look at bulbapedia for the info on the other berries. Anyway, here are a couple of fun options:
:leafeon::yache berry: Leafeon already runs Yache Berry, now it can also be used to hit Altaria!
:ninjask::apicot berry: Gives you a base 100bp Ground move on an otherwise coverage-less mon.

:muk::muk::muk:

Here are some random meme teams.

92 SpA Marowak Blizzard vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Tangela: 146-172 (43.8 - 51.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
92 SpA Marowak Blizzard vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Eviolite Vibrava: 244-288 (80.5 - 95%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
92 SpA Marowak Blizzard vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Altaria: 204-244 (57.7 - 69.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Also 188 Spe+Naive lets you outspeed Golem/Adamant Marowak.

:marowak::marowak::marowak:

So, in conclusion:
After lots of considerarion, myself and slowbroth.

Cro muk and cm clefairy both set up with minimal support, and the partners we chose have good general synergy with our respective win cons on top breaking the team.

I heavily considered voting for PTF; tbh I'd vote for him too of I could, but too bad. Mime is frail and will have a little trouble getting in play as a result. Furthermore, it is able to be played around easier than muk or clef imo. Mime does set up much faster, and is therefor harder to stop once boosted. Mime 5-0s the team with trick and klang being the only issues, just like cromuk does (though rotom is not a threat for muk). But I simply don't think it is better than clefairy in application, given the only real hope vs the clef and cromuk cores are crits, where with mr. Mime it lies in prediction. I'd rather it be a chance of crit than a tactical 50/50 against this team.

I want to submit a team of mine for a Sample Team. I realize some of the teams are outdated to meta trends that have changed since the end of ORAS, and I think this team does a great job of representing the meta. This team is a combination between offensive firepower and defensive prowess and it has an easy-to-use flowchart. It also uses some of the best Pokemon in the meta in some of their most popular sets.

Monferno and Simisage, the two monkeys make up a powerful offensive core that few Pokemon can stand up to. Pelipper and Clefairy fill support roles, covering special and physical defense while winning the hazards game. Choice Band Golem is the ultimate wallbreaker which still serves as a good check to Normal-types among others.

I'm sure a lot of people will recognize this team as it's been used a lot between PUPLs, ORAS cups, etc for the past several years .

The post-PUPL VR update is finally complete! Here is the voting sheet based on everyone's tier lists. The biggest positive and negative change was dropped for every mon to reduce variance and individual personal bias. I am far too lazy to go into every change, but the OP has already been updated and everything is on the sheet.

Samples will be updated sometime, hopefully soon. Feel free to make any more nominations about anything that might seem off about the new rankings.

This isn't much, but here's some my own old teams I touched up on to submit for Sample Teams. Not much variation between the two, but both showcases Beheeyem, First uses Specs Beheeyem to break through bulkier teams with Monferno + Ursaring handling Psychic checks and the second utilizes NP + hazard stack to facilitate a cleanup with Beheeyem or Altaria

God i was dreading making this post for almost a year now but with PUCL concluded i feel like it's finally time to revive this thread a bit so here it goes!

I'm BluBirD for those who don't know me, i'm mainly an oras ou player but it just happens that oras pu is my favorite tier of all time since current gen so i always felt eager to play it in any tour that has it and ever since i made that decision i felt like it helped me enjoy the game more and genuinely have fun playing a tier and i'm here to tell you a small story...
The story begins last year when Spitfire drafted me for ORAS PL hoping that i would do my best in ou but instead i told him that i was burned out and tried to persuade him to not buy someone for the pu slot so that i can play pu instead of ou, at first it felt like a hard call to make since i had not played the tier for so long and obvs my ou experience would have obviously been more appreciated in any tour but since spitfire is genuinely the best person on this site he said: "Fuck it lets ball LOL" and went on to do as asked by me and also went on to bring in MZ and Terra The Creator(I unfortunately can't find you here to tag you) and they helped with getting me into shape for the tour so a HUGE thanks to both of these friends for being there to help me when i needed it!
ANYWAY more rambling later on, for now lets get to some teams:
Screenshot_86.png
Vs Bouff: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-865022?p2

So here the issues are very much apparent, first team i build in years and it was the start of the tour as well so my play and approach was incredibly defensive and passive (reoccurring theme as you're about to see further down the line), not much to say here i just got a weird mu vs a great pu player and the fact that i was super paranoid about the teambuilding aspect was greatly showing here. (0-1)
Screenshot_87.png
Vs TJ: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-866379

Week 2 and i finally got an idea of how to approach the tour and the tier again(a bit better than last week at least)
For this team i have to give a huge shoutout to Ruffles cause most of this team came to be because of our chats that week, swanna set was his and the cat set was also his idea with my spread but the real good thing about this team is that it brought back this specific Drifblim set that imo to this day is by far its best set in the current meta cause it's almost uncontrollable in the late game after you spread some knocks and manage to give it just a tiny bit of room, it has a lot of good bulk so there are a lot of times where u don't even need to have a sub up to start doing your thing(it's also a great set to have early game to punch holes for your other fast mons to clean up).
Big apologies to TJ because honestly i'm not sure if i could win this game without the blizzard misses vs the cat but a win is a win and it's a much needed win on that regard because that gave me some confidence and momentum to ride on for the following weeks. (1-1)
Screenshot_88.png
Vs Ming549: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-869236

Okay i played that game like actual shit so i'll never complain about bad sleep talk rolls, hurricane misses etc because it was honestly all me.
I always love playing vs good friends of mine and ming is no exception, game was overall really hyped up for the time and i'm glad that it was at least a good team that i ended up building that week.
Turns out that having ruffles and Killintime as your support while also playing well makes it really tough to plan for a game.. who woulda thought!!
Jokes aside Ming brought a really cool regigigas team that i believe is a KT build and had a lot of really cool techs like defensive rh leafeon, rocks monferno and of course sub/twave regigigas.
Some stuff to talk about my own team, i feel like it's probably the best team i had brought that far on the tour and had some really cool synergies like ursaring absorbing status from passive mons like scald from chinchou, twave from clef or sleep from tangela/roselia and the thing that brings the whole team together is my main man scarf pawniard LOL
Its a bit silly but it gives you a get out of jail for free card vs lo kadabra which is lowkey insane and u also get to twave monferno for ursaring while also trapping all ghosts in the tier? yeah that's gold.
Lastly one lesson i learned on that game is that oras pu as a tier just doesn't forgive missing moves and stacking too many rocks weak mons, limit the RNG that affect your end as much as you can and everything becomes playable. (1-2)
Screenshot_89.png
Vs Monai: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-871015

Monai is one of my oldest friends on this site and a new player in this tier so it was a pretty exciting matchup to play and prep for and he also had ManOfMany as his support for the week so i wasn't sure on what the best way to approach this game was but i ended up trying out my own spin on the classic ProboMuk archetype, scarf mime is there for speed control and as another way to take advantage of probo trapping all the steel types around for an "easy" sweep later on, vibrava is there so that monferno and golem don't pick a mon every time they're in(vibrava is a bad mon tho fr LOL) but by far my favorite "discovery" from this team was the buck, good breaking ability with a nice defensive typing for a frail offensive mon and sap sipper to really drive the point home vs leafeon while it gets recovery from horn leech is just amazing, good speed tier overall to keep it afloat vs BO and u have a good candidate for when you're thinking about your grass type slot on your team.
I got outplayed in this game honestly but i was still in an okay spot but then there was a crit that prevented my mime to get a play vs dabra/chinchou but honestly even there it was a stretch to say that i won if i don't get crit so gg to monai, he played a great game overall! (1-3)

Screenshot_91.png
Vs LpZ: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-872914
Vs Ishtar: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen6pu-2538599517 (replay from this PUCL)

LpZ is a great player and one of the best pu players across all generations so i was kind of fearful going into this considering that my record had gone downhill(much worse than i expected at the start of the tour) so i just KNEW i had to step it up because even tho i lost a lot i still had a lot of fun building and playing the tier.
After talking a bit with ruffles trying to get ideas down so that i can start building he mentioned one thing that kinda stuck with me: "why have u not used spikes or tspikes so far, they're broken lol"
And it got me thinking that maybe he was right LOL
The team is far from good and i ended up making it in like 20 mins before the game due to irl restricting my schedule overall but the idea is really good, tspikes to limit offense and a bunch of offensive behemoths to pressure fat like mixed simipour with taunt, nasty plot misdreavus and sub lo rotom-frost, pawn and missy abuse/deny removal attempts while taunt from simi pressure rockers from setting up hazards and keeps pivotal walls low like muk and clefairy for a pawn/missy end game.
You can see the high and the low points of this team in both replays, ishtar played a great game and i basically had no tools to play which is why i decided to retire that team ultimately. (2-3)

Screenshot_90.png
Vs Ishtar: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-875011

There's one obvious flaw with this team and that is having rotom/cacturne/pawniard with no fire resist in the back which is a fact that i still regret because this team has a lot of good upside but it lacks defensive stability.
AV Dusk + Stunfisk is the backbone for this offense and ultimately it works decent enough to warrant me bringing it in a big tour vs a player as good as ishtar, i just knew it would be a good game if i brought offense and so far i haven't brought the genuine best mon in the tier which is Life Orb Kadabra, add spikes from another broken offensive pokemon which is cacturne and u have a recipe for disaster.
Great offensive synergy and once again i'm going with hazards offense with no removal but instead defiant + ghost to try to abuse/deny said removal and that's where i realized that this is my comfort in this tier and i wasn't gonna let it get watered down if i could help it. (3-3)
Screenshot_92.png
Vs Asa: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-876896

Last game of the season, my team was unfortunately not in contention for playoffs so i thought i'd try something new and fun.
I was really interested to see how screens would function in this tier so i thought i'd try to disguise one of my classic team styles(pawn + ghost offense) as an HO which is when i came to the idea of trying out screens cryogonal, it's not really expected and it was sadly crit by monferno mach before it could explode on this game but it's generally a great set that prevents defog by the virtue of having both freeze-dry to threaten the defoggers actively and explosion to clear the field and generate momentum so that i can take advantage of the screens turns(potentially nabbing a monferno KO in the process so that pawniard can do the funny pawniard thing).
Game was won, my play wasn't perfect at first but sub np missy managed to break a massive hole on asa's team mid game and i ended up getting the turns right vs salac swanna with sd pawniard in the end game, overall a great fun game and i somehow managed to end up positive on my return season! (4-3)

Closing thoughts for ORAS PL are: i ended up using 6 pawniards in 7 games and i almost entirely used offense in some form, really enjoyed this tour and it just reignited my love for this tier so once again a huge thank you to my teammates and my managers for pushing me to do better and actually being great people to be around for 7 weeks.

The PUCL arc.:
After ORAS PL ended i was actively looking for ways to play this tier again so i just waited and waited while being mildly active in the PU server on discord.
While just chatting with some old friends and to some new people i met during the ORAS PL season that ended earlier i run into hex on the server and decided to dm her to say hi and catch up for what seems to have been forever since we last teamed in RUPL and she tells me that she's gonna manage in PUCL alongside my good friend THE_CHUNGLER and that i should stick around if i want more gaming and i decided to shoot my shot and tell her what a blast ORAS PL was for me in oras and that i managed to build all 7 teams i used from scratch(with the help of my teammates and friends ofc) and she told me that she's gonna try to buy me or ruffles for this slot and ngl i'm really happy she bought me cause we ended up winning the fucking tour and everything worked like a clock after all LOL.

So i got a new tour to look forward to and a new tour means new teams(for the most part lol)
Sadly i faced several issues irl during that tour like being sick with a 39 fever for my game vs feen, struggling with mental illness all season and having to focus on SPL and ORAS CL at the same time meant that i couldn't afford as much time as i wanted to helping out in PUCL and lastly on the finals week a storm flooded my room and burned an outlet that i had my pc connected to meaning that i could not prep normally for my finals game and i had to play on a borrowed laptop instead.
I apologized to both my managers quite a lot this season because my activity was not up to my normal standards and my results weren't great at first and they both told me the same thing: "just have fun with it and we're here to help you out as much as we can!"

Screenshot_84.png
Vs Havocknight: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-903750

First week of PUCL and i'm not sure who in my team can support me or who should i tag to start talking ball and build with so i just tag Hex and ask her what she makes of the small scout that HK had so far and right off the bat she tells me that she's not an expert in oras and that we don't really have one that is except for myself, was i mildly disappointed there and felt a bit of pressure while reading that but 2 minutes later she just posts again and says: "but hey, you're free to talk with Greybaum about team ideas, i'm sure you two will hit it off cause your styles match!" and that's where i met grey and he was fucking AMAZING all season long, helping multiple slots, offering teams, ideas and tests whenever anyone needed it!
I show grey my screen cryo team and he told me that he had a similar idea in the past and told me to try a similar team with Rotom-F being the screen setter instead, we ended up making a pretty decent team but unfortunately i didn't play well at all because once again my approach was too scared and defensive and it ended up costing me the game, well played to HK he really showed me what's good in that game, gg! (0-1)

Screenshot_85.png

Vs Ox The Fox: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-905429
Vs Axzel: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-915492 (ORAS CL)

Week 2 hits and i'm paired vs my friend and SPL teammate Ox, i know that he's not a mainer but i also know that he's a GREAT pilot and has access to all my previous teams so this week was a bit tricky to prep for especially since we had to play slightly earlier in the week due to our schedules not fitting too well to play on a sunday.
This was my first time using another person's team on a tour for the last maybe 4 years or so so i was quite upset because i didn't manage to make anything new and i didn't want to lose this week...so i had to dm the one and only Killintime so that he can give me his 2 cents and his blessing to use the team that bouff used vs me in week 1 of ORAS PL because it was so incredibly solid so a huge shoutout to him as well. (I am not going to share the paste for this one because i respect the effort that KT put in for this tier and this team and if he wants to he can share it himself.) Only small edit i ended up making was going from wild charge on rapidash to drill run(of course i ran into swanna when i made that change) and making it itemless to absorb knock off from leafeon and mawile/pawn more reliably which is funny because after the game chungler told me that you can see on preview if a mon doesn't have an item and thankfully Ox didn't notice it either because i would for sure lose if he did LOL. (1-1)
I'll get to a couple of teams i made in ORAS CL but i just posted the replay vs axzel because it's the same team, great team overall and also axzel played a great game as well, for sure one of my fav games of this overall season, ggs to both!

Week 3 it's the game shared above with the simipour team vs Ishtar where she owned me front, back and sideways and it was actually a very important game because that's when hex and chungler told me that we're gonna have to take roselia and shoot it in the back of the head for the remainder of the season LMAO (1-2)

Screenshot_83.png
Vs Lighthouses: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-911717
Vs Feen: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-917494 (ORAS CL)

Here we have one of my favorite teams that i made so far! It was weird prepping for diogo because he was my ORAS CL teammate at the time and he basically had access to all my teams as well so i had to figure out a starting point and i decided that bouffalant would be what i wanted to try next, basically in my humble opinion this mon is broken and somehow still underrated to a degree LOL.
Some of my fav ideas came to be here, one being lo floatzel with pursuit this time around because i appreciated the progress you could make vs chinchou teams and you also got to trap lo kadabra and misdreavus if it's low enough for bouffalant later on, lastly i had golem as my rocker but i was scared a LOT that if i play vs opposing bouffalant i would just fold immediately so i came back to a conversation that i had with ruffles some time ago and he was talking about solrock and i thought that from what it seems, it's as good as a check as it gets for this team so i slapped it in and it worked great, offensive tangela rounds the team very nicely while also keeping a lot of mons honest still.
Diogo played well but his matchup was just way too tough and i ended up getting a relatively easy win due to the matchup factor, gg brother! (2-2)
The ORAS CL game was fun and feen brought a scary team but ultimately the RNG favored me after i played to my outs, gg to feen as well!

Screenshot_82.png
Vs Buhrito: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-913073

Buhrito is a past teammate of mine from a previous version of SPL and a good player overall but unfortunately for him he was quite new to the tier as it seemed and i had to take advantage of that.
My scout overall in the tier has close to no bulky teams and my scout generally doesn't have any stall so my reputation protected me in the prep here. Shoutout to my man Ruffles and the lovely ishtar for giving me ideas on how to round up the team!
Burhito brought a pretty cool sand offense with some scary threats like sub punch sand veil cacturne and Howl LO Stoutland but the matchup was too good in my favor and my moves landed true when i needed them so i ended up riding that mu to another easy win on preview, gg friend. (3-2)

Screenshot_81.png
Vs Ruffles: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-915469

What do you do when you have to play the person that helps you build most stuff for the whole year in a must win game?
That's the question i asked myself when prepping here, i was stuck.
Thankfully my teammates cheered me on when i needed it and we came to a quick conclusion when it comes to the question asked above: "Win anyway."
I was aware that ruffles would probably bring something relatively bulky, noticing the patterns that my teams tend to have so my approach ended up being "use broken mons, play better" and that's what i tried to do, psyspam is really fun if u know what mons fit on your core and grumpig overall was a mon i didn't use so far so i thought i'd start with it, taunt goes a long way vs fatter teams and it can cover monferno and fire types in general if needed while also helping pressure dark types with colbur and focus blast, physdef mawile was great into the normal types i expected to face and i slapped play rough there to prevent bouffalant from setting up a sub for free while also damaging pawniard and monferno decently, shoutout to my man lighthouses for giving me this cryogonal spread, sadly neither of us know what it does exactly so that will remain a mystery LOL and shoutout to greybaum for suggesting encore on kadabra as the last move cause that paid off massively!
Last cool thing about this team is that i'm generally very aware of chinchou as a mon and it cuts a lot of the speed control mons' momentum so if i wanted to use both zeb and floatzel on the same team i had to make sure i could pressure it decently enough, enter Focus Punch max attack life orb Floatzel which ended up sniping the audino this time around, freeing my psychic types do the heavy work after grumpig decided that it will not be burned by camerupt, gg my brother! (4-2)

Much needed break week after this due to a tiebreak and i felt refreshed...at first LOL

All that refreshment went out the window real fast because even tho i was feeling okay at first i ended up having to play at my night after coming home from the hospital with a high fever, my plays were NOT good and the luck was on my side once more so i'll apologize again for that to poor feen which i seemed to have been lucky vs twice this season.
Team is pretty cool, base idea was a ruffles team so all credit goes to him but me and my teammates ended up tweaking it just a bit, fitting Drifblim > Missy and touching on some sets like sub on ninetales and tspikes on smeargle so a big thank you to everyone involved and gg, feen! (5-2)

Here's the money maker.
This game was quite inconvenient for me because if u read above you can see that i didn't have access to my teams, my pc or my comfort at any time in the finals week which is arguably the most important one of the whole tour so what did we do?
termi when the season started told me that we're gonna use scraggy eventually and i just shrugged it off as a joke and moved on, little did i know that on finals of all weeks i was going to take that challenge on, as expected i struggled a lot while building cause scraggy is a tough mon to make good use of but thankfully termi and crow crumbs (which btw was helping me so much all season long with tests and recreates, good vibes and ideas) managed to beat me down so badly in tests to the point that i almost dropped scraggy entirely, but on the last day a stroke of luck just landed on my head at random and i settled on these 6, ended up making solrock zen headbutt > rock slide last minute to damage monferno more reliably as well as arbok and muk so that i can put more pressure on those whenever needed.
The team isn't perfect by any means, there's no fighting resist so i kinda have to rely on hazards and offensive pressure/optimal trades vs those but i'm overall happy with how this team ended up looking.
The game was insane to play and Ox truly made it feel like a finals game because my man played like a demon, getting me on plays so many times but i knew that eventually i had to step on the gas myself and for the life of me i never thought it would be so stressful to click thunderbolt vs a pelipper in a game, ggs brother it was a fucking great game and ggs to the slugmas that put up a HUGE fight and forced us on a tiebreak which we eventually won, great season overall! (6-2)
That concludes my PUCL journey and answers the question of how the fuck did BluBirD end up actually winning a team tour for once, big shoutout to my lovely teammates and managers for making this tour so memorable and genuinely enjoyable, you guys saved me mentally much more than you're aware of and i will treasure y'all forever. <3

Fucking hell man this post doesn't seem to end but i STILL have more stuff to show since ORAS CL happened and i played pu there too!!!
Mid SPL and PUCL the signups for ORAS CL happen and i am NOT down to play for this tour due to burn out and IRL commitments and complications so i deleted that fact from my small brain....but then i saw that fucking Seasons and Sna got a manager spot so i knew that if i didn't sign up to play for them i would end up regretting it, they ended up buying me as well as some good friends so that tour was destined to be a good time, no matter what happened during the season so thank you both very much for trusting me, appreciate you!

Vs Seroo: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-911608

First week of the tour and i'm once again very excited to build smth new, i ponder a lot on this duosion idea that ruffles and i had a while back because it's a good set in zu but i wasn't sure on how to fit it in pu.
The team is quite bulky but packs a serious punch when you consider that lo mawile is the devil when it comes to offense, rounded the team up with good ol' gabite and spikes and while i was looking for the grass slot my eye caught quilladin so i thought why not?
Ruffles gave me this set idea and even tho it looks really awkward it actually was the mvp of this game LOL, Future sight spdef duosion feels like an anomaly BUT it's a good set imo that sponges a lot of hits for the team and hits back like a truck, add monferno to abuse said future sight and spike stack + double phazing and we had an actual good team on our hands. HUGE shoutout to my man purbaj for melting me in tests until i found the best version for this idea, you were really helpful both here and on the finals of PUCL with the tests and genuinely ty for being a good friend man, you're him.
The game vs Seroo was actually great and he played it really nicely but the best part about it was that i made a new friend so shoutout to SEROO for being a good lad and gg, wp man. (1-0)

I already posted 2 games from this tour vs Axzel/Feen above in the PUCL section and that was because i was way too busy and not in a good headspace to actually build but i ended up winning 1/2 games vs those so that's something LOL (2-1)

Vs Ming549: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen6pu-922861?p2

IT'S MING AGAIN!!!
Jokes aside, our season was over unfortunately and i did not have time to build something once more due to SPL/PUCL also taking my time and some unfortunate IRL events at the time(Same week that i had to prep for Ox in the finals, i was without a pc nor any time to do anything about it)
I instead ended up using a team that Seroo used in an earlier week vs MZ which i think has great potential and it ended up giving me a very enjoyable game vs my friend, lots of cool techs here such as fire punch curse muk, heal bell leafeon and av stout with pursuit.
I love playing vs trusted opponents like Ming because they allow me to play at my best with good plays that i can rely on that they'll make throughout the game, ended up positive once again in oras pu for the third season in a row! (3-1)

AAAAND that's all.
I fucking love this tier and i can't wait to play again in the future and with this post i really hope that i can get to make some more people share teams/ideas or just open up discussion again for this tier.
Love all my friends that helped me with this in the last 2 years and i hope we get to see more posts like this to revive the interest in building in this tier again!
(I'm sorry if i forgot something or someone while making this post, please let me know and i'll fix it.)
