Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
My team was a status spread one with Hex Rotom, had 2 lures, one for Flygon with Shuca Berry Ice Fang Drapion, and the other one was for Spiritomb with Colbur Berry Dazzling Gleam Meloetta. Virizion was a huge threat so I had to play around that carefully. I assumed he would think I'm some Scarf variant which is why I went for Toxic Spikes in turn 2. The Thunderbolt crit was big, as Molk would have taken Rotom out of action, but as Virizion was weakened, Houndoom easily cleaned the team.
This team is a CB Sawk CM Sigilyph and No Shard Sneasel backed by the generic Mega Lix+bulky Water core. I used Sawk to punch holes into his team, and aimed for Sneasel to clean. I had no safe switchins to Hoopa and realised I only need Weezing to check Virizion, which Sneasel can also do, and thus sacked it. Plus there was the possibility of him being Zen Headbutt so I didn't risk that at all. Molk made some nice doubles and put me into a pressure spot, with +2 Virizion against my Sneasel on Turn 24. It was a 50-50, and I got the longer stick from it.
Great games man! I was honestly really close to simply staying in with Virizion at the end of game 2 predicting you to attempt to double switch to Sawk, guess that would've been the right choice in hindsight.
